Very dissatisfying on the water down Thai tea and Milo taste like your normal chocolate shake, no trace of Milo. Overly priced for two drinks $28 for 24oz Thai tea and 16oz Milo shake. I can get more from Cafe 86 and way better tasting drinks! Next time, maybe do a quality check on your drinks and train your workers better. I arrived at Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel) on Thursday (around 6:30PM). It's located inside the Blossom Market Hall. Parking is easy. The lot is spacious. Customers order at the counter or self-service kiosk. Staff is friendly but unmemorable. Staff usually vanishes behind the counter. After ordering, Staff provides an electronic pager. It beeps when your order is ready. My order took six minutes and 53 seconds. As mentioned, I ordered the Mais Con Yelo ($15 - 24oz) and Thai Tea ($9 - 24oz). The Mais Con Yelo includes Sweet Corn Cheese Ice Cream, Sweet Corn & Cream Corn Mix, Shaved Ice, Evaporated Milk, Condensed Milk, and Corn Cereal. When fresh, the Mais Con Yelo ($15 - 24oz) is VERY delicious. The ice cream is creamy with a robust, addictive corn flavor; its dry corn cereal toppings add a playful "CRUNCH." However, this treat is messy. It melts quickly!! As you progress, the treat tastes like chilled milky sweet corn. Unfortunately, the Thai Tea ($9 - 24oz) tastes heavy and bitter. There's an appreciated tea flavor attempt; however, it tasted burnt. Also, the boba pearls had a very off-putting texture and taste. These boba pearls felt like defrosted marshmallows. Despite the mediocre taste, I appreciated how the drink is thirst-quenching and huge. The Thai Tea is not bad, but it's forgettable. Concerning ambiance, Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel) benefits from being inside the popular Blossom Market Hall. It's filled with customers! The music is also very energetic and upbeat like a nightclub. The location has plenty of tables and seating. And the location is well-ventilated and clean. If I were to nitpick, Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel) would benefit from a hand sanitizer bottle because its desserts are so messy. Overall, I appreciated my visit to Tim's Thai Tea (San Gabriel). Tea Bag - no, tea IN a bag... yes! With such a picture, I couldn't help but try it out for its novelty. Yup, I got the Thai tea in a bag with brown sugar boba - less sweet. The drink took about 5 minutes to prepare, and the staff explained how to enjoy it in their reusable pouch. A few sips later, I realized that the boba tasted normal and not like brown sugar - still good nonetheless. The Thai tea was on the watery side, but the level of sweetness was nearly perfect. The name may be misleading but their halo halo is one of the best. It's perfectly layered with the gels, macapuno (coconut meat in string form), red beans, flan, jackfruit, ube ice cream, some fun maraschino cherries, a well shaved ice (some halo halos tend to have big ice chunks), and a sprinkling of that crunchy rice topping. It hits the spot every time. If it's really hot, get their Hawaiian shaved ice, which is another must have. Nice and refreshing on a hot day. They've won a consistent customer with me. I came here on a Saturday night. I had to go somewhere in 20 minutes, but figured a boba drink would be ready by then. I checked the paper menu first before going to the kiosk. Oddly, the kiosk didn't have everything on the menu, so I ended up going with a halo-halo instead. On the Square receipt feedback, I mentioned this, and the person who responded seemed misinformed. First time visiting the Blossom Market so I made sure to try out multiple businesses. I was excited to order a buko pandan. I approached the register and I couldn't see the employee. I then went on the side of the pick up window and saw the employee standing there. I did wave him down to order because he had both of his AirPods on. I placed my order and he handed me a pager. I would've liked to receive some type of customer service as he made it seem like a bother to make my order. Buko Pandan 10/10- Refreshing and was exactly what I expected. After receiving my order I did notice that you can borrow a boba bingo. You do need to give a refundable deposit which I totally understood. I came back after bringing my order to my table. The employee now had his back turned towards the counter/register while still on his AirPods. He didn't appear to be doing anything luckily after a few minutes he turned around. I asked him if I could borrow the game and handed him the deposit. He then proceeded to open the register to where I saw him place my $20. After a few rounds of playing, I returned their game and asked for my deposit back. He looked a bit confused and I reminded him of my $20 which he then took out of his apron. I didn't have a lot of interactions with this employee but, he did concern me in the sense that he was the closing employee who is in charge of someone's small business. This place has great tasting desserts! I'm hoping the employee was just having a one off as I have seen pictures of other employees with captions of their great service.
