I feel like this place is underrated. Every time I visit, it's packed with families, teens, and adults alike. They do Taiwanese desserts really well, and honestly, I don't know anywhere else that compares. My go to drink is the Herbal Tea Fluffy Ice with a cream top, and the almond flavor Taiwanese shaved ice is another favorite of mine.

I say this every time because it's true .. desserts after dinner is always essential! Parking: There's a medium/large parking lot. Finding a spot can be easy. We visited late at night, so it was a bit trickier. Ambiance/Environment: We visited a quarter till 9pm, and it was poppin. Every indoor table and seat was full. It's very casual and family friendly. The tables do need a cleaning though. The table we were at was sticky and full of crumbs. We stayed till 11pm, and it was still poppin. Service: We self ordered through the kiosks. They were extremely busy, so throughput took long. We waited about 25 min for our drinks and bubble waffle. Dessert & drinks: I've always gotten their signature puddings. That's what they're best known for - hot desserts. Though, I wanted to try something different. 1) Fluffy Thai Tea w/ Mini Q - I had high hopes for their new Thai series. I thought it tasted okay .. the tea wasn't as strong as I preferred. It was very sweet, so I suggest adjusting the sweetness level. The foam was thick, and the mini pearls tasted as expected. 2) Matcha Egg Waffle - Rather than getting my usual, I tried their egg waffles. The matcha flavor came through. The egg waffle texture and taste was as expected. Can't mess up a classic waffle. The ice cream, red beans, and jelly paired well with it. Pricing: Prices have gone up over the years, and honestly I don't blame them for operating in this economy. I'd definitely come back for their signature desserts!

Worst MeetFresh location ever!!!!! I can't believe I saw Krak Boba next door and thought "nah I want real boba" and ended up with this overpriced watery soup. I ordered Fresh Milk / Boba Tea 1/2 sweet and it's the worst 1/2 sweet milk tea I've ever had. Tasted like water or milk tea that had a ton of ice melted into it. NEVER would have thought a Taiwanese shop would disappoint me. I also ordered the hot red bean dessert with all the other toppings and it just came out looking like it was randomly tossed together. Taste wise? Fine but with the milk tea being ass and seeing this presentation just ruined everything. I barely go out to enjoy myself now and I can't believe I wasted my calories/free meal from my diet here

Came here on a warm day craving shaved ice to cool down and ordered the taro mochi milk shaved ice with almond jelly. It was HUGE -- definitely shareable -- but unfortunately, that was about the only highlight. The ice itself was pretty chunky (I personally prefer a finer, fluffier shave), and it was mostly just a big pile of bland ice. The toppings -- taro, mochi, and almond jelly -- were also pretty underwhelming and lacked flavor. We even had to ask for extra condensed milk just to give it some taste, and still ended up removing a lot of the ice because there was just too much of it. That said, the space itself is nice -- plenty of seating with comfortable cushioned seats, and it was fairly empty on a Sunday afternoon, which made it easy to relax and cool down. For nearly $17, it didn't feel worth it. If you're specifically looking for flavorful shaved ice, this isn't the spot.

Went here on a hot day and the portions and value did not disappoint! The black sugar boba milky shaved ice was very reminiscent of a blended milk tea through a spoon. The boba on the side was so much and so warm. They ran out of ice cream so they just gave a big cup of soft serve which is arguably better suited for this dessert. They also have a promo for $1 wintermelon tea which was refreshing. I had so much boba leftover that I just topped off the drink with it. Service was a little slow even though there were only a few customers but the value def made up for it!

I love going to Meet Fresh!! One of my friend groups love to go here after all of our dinner plans so we tend to frequent it pretty build your own grass jelly. They used to have a grass jelly C that we liked but I think they changed their menu, but our favorite toppings are the melon jelly, boba, condensed milk, and the mini yellow and purple balls (I forgot what they're called). It's refreshing, shareable, and a great balance between creamy and icy. It does get crowded sometimes but there has always been seats when I've gone with my friends. It's an easy order process through a kiosk and you pick it up on the side. I will be back!

Very disappointing customer service. The staff was extremely rude and spoke to me in a disrespectful and unprofessional way. There was no basic courtesy when communicating with a customer. I came here to enjoy a meal, but the attitude of the staff completely ruined the experience. Good food cannot make up for poor customer service. I hope the management takes this seriously and provides better training for the staff.

I'm not crazy about desserts but after the heavy lunch in Paradise Dynasty, our group wanted to try Taiwanese dessert place so someone recommended this place in Westminster. I've would never visit this place since the name is meeting fresh and all sweet stuff here. I've tried the signature bowl, called Icy Grass Jelly Signature with all the trimming and some tea, came out to $21 LOL. No wonder my kids are raking the credit card bills like crazy. Dessert cost more than a meal at McDonalds or In-n-Out burger. Amazing. Yes, it's very tasty and good, the place is nice and clean, it's all self services. There is no ice water to wash down the sugar in all these bowls. Anyhow, this place is for young people who like sweet and trendy stuff, I'm too old for this. My kids are working part time making $16-$18/hr, how can they afford these without daddy credit card?

8/10 Black Sugar Boba Milky Shaved Ice - I liked it. I didn't love it. The only thing for me was the texture of the ice--personally, I love when it's silky smooth, almost like soft ice cream, and this one didn't quite hit that mark. That said, the toppings were a solid 10/10, and the boba was absolute perfection! Plus, they gave such a generous amount of sauce to pour over. Cost - $16.11 for the large size with tax.

Stopped by Meet Fresh in Westminster on a hot day with a discount coupon--but the visit was a disappointment. Staff were really impatient and unhelpful about using coupons. Ordered the Grape Mango Shaved Ice ($15.75 with 25% off) and expected mango chunks, but mostly got under-ripe pineapple--hard, tart, and artificial tasting. On top of that, the printed menu doesn't show prices, and you have to either download the app or see the counter menu which is super inconvenient. Usually I love Meet Fresh everything, so this review is only for their new osmanthus menu. Got the osmanthus shaved ice and it wasn't as good as my go-to here, the q mochi shaved ice. The osmanthus flavor wasn't really there, just a lot of sweetness if anything. The toppings were also not as good as the q mochi. I'll be back to try their other new menu items though since they sounded really good- they have a thai tea and dubai chocolate series apparently

Amazing service and amazing people. It was my first time trying this place and I was not disappointed at all, the items have just the right amount of flavors, make you want to try all of them lol. The atmosphere is really a good place to hangout after any situation. (PS I'd say try their green tea too. It's amazing, different than any other green tea for sure, even different than other franchises)

The self-order kiosk wasn't working, so we had to order from the cashier, but this wasn't a big issue. I was here on a Saturday night and it was busy/filled with people but there wasn't a line to order. -strawberry and mango shaved ice: 6.9/10. Very refreshing! Sweet, tart, and comes with plenty of fresh fruits! Huge portion - good for sharing between 2-4 people. However, the fruit syrups make this dessert veryyyyyyyy sweet. Delicious, but gets too sweet to finish. I wouldn't get this again, but I would definitely come back to try something else as they offer a wide variety of traditional asian desserts.

I've been to three different locations and all of them are great in customer's service. However, this location is terrible. 3 visits out of 5 are bad. I let it slide every time but today I must leave a comment so they could improve. I asked the server for extra cream and she told me that "I already gave u more than enough. Only 2 per order." I like to have my icy grass jelly with extra cream and her response really ruined my experience at Meet Fresh. You charging almost $10 for a bowl and you're going to be stingy about a few cream? Seriously, this is just pure bad business practice. I will not support this location anymore. read more

What the fuck. I ordered the sweet potato taro ball tofu pudding and it fucking came with not taro balls, but ube balls which actually have peanuts and black sesame in them. The fucking item is labeled as "nut free" on their online menu system. Guess these assholes need to pay for my ER copay. read more

This place always has the worst customer service for how busy they get. There aren't a lot of places that do egg waffles the way they do around here which is why I come. My party came 40 minutes before they closed and they were still pretty busy. The cashier ends up saying waffle station is closed cus they're closing soon....in 40 minutes... for waffles that shouldn't take too long to make. It's not even the fact that I know they want to get out of there which is why they closed it early. But simply the fact the cashier walked slower than my grandma to the station just to look at it, then come back even slower to say in the most monotone voice that they're not doing it is what is annoying. This store is not welcoming and everyone genuinely looks so miserable being there. Aside from this one moment, every other time I've come here, orders take 20-30 minutes to come out for shaved ice with toppings I'm sure that come prepackaged from elsewhere. If you're getting multiple bowls, better walk all the way to the park around it and back then it will be done. I genuinely don't understand the hold up. To top, it kiosk never works so you're forced to deal with the cashiers and their stink attitudes. When you walk to the back seating it's dirty and loud. I have never once seen an employee actively keeping the place clean considering how busy they can get. AND they have ROACH(ES) roaming the store. Absolutely disgusting and you can see I'm not the only review. If I was the owner I would be embarrassed to have my team work this way given the fact the store itself seems to bring a lot of business despite all of this. Y'all need to hire real adults with actual care for their positions to represent a store and service. read more

I have been almost every location of meet fresh. This is first time I came to Westminster location. Employees needs to retrain . I order one ice and one hot. It took 30 mins to get it. On Monday 6:30pm. I have to ask order two time to get it at 7pm. And I told them you made a wrong order . There are missing items that I order. She was keep saying it's right. I have to show the receipt to proof I am right. And my hot bean soup signature . There are so little portion in the bowl basicly it just soup. I ask for 4 cream. Employee said only can give me two cream. Excuse me I eat meet fresh all the time I always get my creams. Any way . They have a terrible employees working at this location not trying to make customer happy. read more

We made the decision to get some ice cream or shave ice after dinner to cool off in the hot evening. We visited Westminster's Meet Fresh. Despite the busy atmosphere, we managed to find a table. We place our drinks and shave ice orders. When the drinks and shave ice are finished, they hand us pager to let us know. It appears that they forgot our orders, so I went up to the counter and asked the employee there after waiting for 35 minutes. When they returned, they didn't even offer an apology for forgetting our orders while they were searching for my orders and looking at each other. When I returned to the counter after waiting for ten more minutes, my shave ice was already there, and when I asked the employee, they weren't even certain it was my order. We waited for an additional seven minutes because they also forgot our drinks. Overall negative experience, and absolutely no apology at all... I most likely won't visit that Meet Fresh again. read more

Terrible boba. I came here around 11pm to get some dessert and boba. My previous experience with this location has always been good: the dessert always come out delicious; except this one time I tried their boba it was very bad, but I still let it slide because I thought it was a bad day. Then today I decided to give the boba another shot; I ordered the Ube Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Boba. First, when the drink came out, it looks nothing like the picture AND there was no boba in it even tho there was clearly a label tag. I calmly told the employee, and instead of offering me a new drink she asked if I want her to put the boba in it like... so unprofessional. The boba was stingy, and the drink was straight up watered down and taste nothing like Ube. I have no words, the fact I paid $6 for something for this and it did not meet my expectations. This Meet Fresh is largest than the four other Meet fresh in SoCal that I've been to. Mainly Vietnamese customers at this place, but always packed. This is my 3rd time back because my son like to eat desert here. Their cold desert is okay but the hot tofu is sub par this time. The wait is long even at 10PM - our order was ready but we didn't knew about it. There was a customer stand and talking to the workers for at least 30 seconds over our desert (doesn't seem sanitary at all). They didn't have any bowl or spoons at the usual place, we need to ask for it at the counter. It is louder than usual more like a little fish market. Not a good ambience to enjoy desert. read more

I love this Meet Fresh location! I usually go for their Icy Grass Jelly or Mangoberry Shaved Ice. They offer a medium or large size but the medium is already pretty big for two people. The fruits taste pretty fresh and the ice cream is the perfect addition. The boba is also cooked really well! It does melt pretty fast though but that's not their fault. The staff is also very friendly. I ordered on their self serve screen which is very easy to follow and not at all confusing. You could also order with the actual server. It is a little loud inside so it's better for social outings. My boyfriend and I will definitely be here again! read more

The menu is pretty extensive. You can get a variety of snacks/desserts as well as drinks. The place is very clean, spacious, and attractive inside. I got the Passion Fruit Sorbet C which is one of the newer menu items. It adds variety to their pre-existing menu, but I don't think that's anything that they need to address. My order was served in a sad little cup - which is underwhelming in presentation given the price ($8.16) and given that I ordered it for dine-in. The customer service was also lacking. Meet Fresh always hits the spot! If you are new, try the Icy Grass Jelly Signature - it's everyone's favorite for a reason! Also, I tried the new Coco Sago drink and is now a close second favorite thing there - the taro gives it a nice thick texture and this thing made me super full lol! read more

Packed on a Friday night. We got mango berry shaved ice and I got some mochi taro balls on the side. Got the food in decent amount of time as they were packed. The shave ice was good. Ice was soft, the mango and strawberry syrup was not too sweet but flavorful. The fruit and ice cream tasted fresh. There was no complaint about the food or service. Our drinks seemed to cause a bit of confusion while more orders were piling in because of the lunch rush and their relatively new soft opening. The wait wasn't too bad though since I went right when they opened. Really nice interior, and there is so much space to hangout and chill with friends. This location in Westminster is much better than the other locations I've been to! When we first pulled up to the location my family and I joked about how it looked like a supermarket since it was so huge. Plus, they had the mango and strawberry shaved ice, which was my favorite! I thought it was supposed to be out of season, (the ones in Irvine and Fountain Valley I believe didn't have them), so this was a nice touch. Will definitely be back again! read more

I rather go to the Irvine location than this place!! Order online for pickup, put down my request for "ice on the side". When I went to pickup, asked about it and they said oh no you should tell us earlier. Ok its fine since you guys are busy on a Friday night, imma let it go. I asked again if this is everything for my order, and they confirmed yes. When I got home, turn out my order is missing of the black sugar boba. The service provide at this place is an absolute shame. Wifey wanted to try their hot coco sago but left with watery liquid with barely anything in it. Their picture advertised with tons of their potato balls and toppings in the dessert but when we opened the dessert we were left with disappointment as you can see for yourself in the video we added. Originally the dessert has boba but my wife doesnt like boba and ask to take out the boba and add more potato ball but the checkout cashier said no they can only take out but not add and anything added would be charge extra. So my wife said it was fine and still tipped for the service. However when we opened the box there was barely any sago, 1 potato ball and a few of other things. This place scammed us but not providing what is advertised. Dont come here unless you want to waste $13 for some watery soup. read more

A good place to gather with friends and family. I visit this place few times with different time of the day and the service is maintained great. Foods and drinks are similar to the one in Irvine and my order always ready asap. Read other comments which complained about the service quality but I totally understand that those people inside the bar have tried their best as some nights are crazy crowded like BlackFriday sale. Very disappointed. They gave me wrong order every time at this location. I ordered hot glass jelly with taro ball, red bean and NO boba but they made my order wrong. They made my order with a glass jelly, red bean and boba instead of taro ball and I found this big piece of aluminum wire in boba which is made me even more disappointed. I recently visited Meet Fresh and was extremely disappointed with my experience. The first thing that struck me was the dirty restroom. It was absolutely disgusting and definitely not up to health and safety standards. It was clear that it hadn't been cleaned in quite some time - there were wet floors, overflowing trash cans, and a strong unpleasant odor filling the air. I got their custom Grassy Jelly, added red beans, lychee and peanuts. The taro balls are a popular option, but I prefer the more natural toppings. Wow this place is gorgeous. Really cool place to hangout. They just had their soft opening yesterday and it was really crowded. I give the manager a lot of credit on how he handle the crowd. They ran out of my favorite grass jelly signature dish and some people were upset. The manager gave us a refund and a voucher for a free item next day. He didn't really have too. Great location in a busy strip mall. Love the addition of this Taiwanese dessert shop. The space is spacious and super clean. The menu is pretty expansive with traditional menu along with egg waffle and boba teas. We got the Sugar Icy Grass Jelly Signature dessert. It came within minutes.
