The salsa trio is always my favorite appetizer because of the spicy mango salsa! I finish it every time. I also got the Plátanos cubanos, but I got the toppings on the side so I could enjoy their plantains by themselves. As an appetizer, snack, meal, or dessert, plantains are the best. I ordered a side of rice with my steak tacos too, and I have to say this rice is the most similar to the type my mom makes at home. Not too tomatoey, but perfectly moist and tasty. I opted out of getting a cocktail today, so I got a mocktail. It's just so shady that this is not disclosed ahead of time or at least no obvious and it's only if you look at your receipt, do you see you're being charged this additional fee. Word for the wise it is optional despite the mandatory language on the receipt, so I encourage everyone to refuse to pay. You are not the one employing the employees, the employer is.

I got a taco salad which is served in a taco bowl with all the ingredients of a super burrito, minus rice and cheese. It was very good, but the bottom of the shell gets really soggy so you can really just eat the top of the shell where it's still crispy. The rest of the family got super burritos and were very happy - the meat was crispy in some parts and moist/soft in other parts and the ratio of the other ingredients were perfect to complement the protein.
