I left because it was taking so long. I went back in about 10-15 minutes later and was immediately greeted, had my order taken, and walked out with my iced coffee in 5 minutes. The girls working were really nice. The shop is decorated nicely and has some merchandise for sale. The coffee was really good. Price was a little too high for me to go back, but worth checking out. They also have some bakery items which looked really good.

My g/f & I were out of town in Massanutten, VA from April 24-26, 2024. I had been to Massanutten once before in March 2023. Both times my friend had a timeshare. March 2023 didn't make it to Moxie 33, but did go to Thunderbird Cafe in this same center, which was pretty good. 2023 trip was a group trip. On Thursday, 4/18/24, my friend reached out to me to try to get me & my girlfriend to buy any number of nights during the work week of 4/22, and it would probably be a private trip for just the 2 of us at that point. I ran by my g/f, which she was agreeable. On Friday, my manager was a bit annoyed by me requesting Thursday & Friday, 4/25-26 off work, but I had to do what I had to do to enjoy a nice private trip with my g/f to Massanutten. Experience with Moxie 33 on Thursday, April 25 & then one more time the next day: We walked in this beautiful, clean, large coffee shop with good lighting. The staff was very friendly and efficient with making the drinks. I think I got some latte drink. Wow, it was delicious, one of the best I've had! We sat in there to drink our drinks one or both of the times. It's a comfortable place for conversation or people to WiFi to do work or whatever, which we saw too. We loved so much, we went again the next day.

Food and coffee are both delicious. Customer service is great and everyone is so helpful. There is street parking and plenty of places to walk around afterwards. Hope to revisit!

The sun has risen to a sky empty of clouds. The breeze is ever so subtle yet cuts through the sweatshirt and beanie I mistakenly thought would be ample in keeping me warm. I first walk into the outdoor seating; some in front of a walled water fountain and some parallel to Agora, the multiple-vendor shopping space this coffee lover's paradise calls home. I find thriving plants, chic furniture, and conversations awaiting me just inside the door. Per usual, I begin with an Americano but save myself the time and order a pour over at the same time. The Americano, with just enough froth on top to remind you it's not a cup of coffee, is the stuff of legends. The washed process (also called wet processing) is the perfect method as it removes all distracting notes and brings the flavors of dark fruit and molasses aspect of the toffee screaming to the forefront. It only lasted as long as it did due to the naturally high temperature of the beverage. And that Colombian medium roast. Like a sweet fruity drink you would have near the ocean, minus the cheap ingredients and nasty aftertaste. Washing over the tongue, it carries a sweetness flavor akin to tea in the deep South. That was also gone within minutes. Every visit I am greeted by friendly team members, quality coffee, and a bag of beans wanting for me to take it home (and I do of course). I will visit this location any time I am in Harrisonburg. I recommend you do the same.
