I have seen this place on Yelp for a while and have wanted to go but never made it over. A friend of mine has a band who was putting on a life performance on a Thursday evening. The band is called group therapy and they have a standing position once a month. As we entered, we were greeted by the owner who helped us find seating. We decided to order the Spanish charcuterie, board meatballs, empanadas, and a bottle of wine. Everything was really good. The empanadas had different flavors than traditional, but they were delicious. Everything felt like it was fresh and made to order. The location is very cool not what I was expecting. The decor is nice. We were able to still have an intimate setting with the music playing and enjoyed ourselves. Definitely going back. Can't wait to try more things on the menu.

A cozy, intimate wine bar perfect for a fun night out. We enjoyed a couple of cheese boards, a pepperoni flatbread, and, of course, wine. We ordered the French cheese board and it came with a cute eiffel tower replica which added to the board decor. Although the cheese board and wine were good (came with jam, grapes, etc), the flatbread wasn't that great. There was a DJ playing on the night we went, who added a lively energy. Per their IG, they have a lot of events which I might come back to experience one.

Pig and fig flatbread was delicious. Must try with some wine.

First time at this place was very nice. The spot is basically to have some wine with good food and you got a perfect date night. I also had a pig and fig flat breads and it was delicious just wish I saw more argula and prosciutto. The fig was delicious. I would have it again definitely.

I guess the place was nice and wine a decent wine selection but I honestly feel completely ripped off especially with the tiny "board" for $26.95 I stand corrected, it's 26.95 which is but it's the same principle. Here's what you get (see photo): Four thin slices of prosciutto or jamón ibérico, 4 slices of fuet, 4 razor thin slices of manchego cheese a few grapes and olives are STILL not 26.95 - especially because it's a neighborhood spot. The manager just replied and I can't Reply back but this "board" at most should be $15 and you will still make a handsome profit. We all know the costs and understand you are running a business but C'mon now...

I've been to this establishment before for a wine tasting event but this time I came for a friend's birthday celebration. They reserved an area of the establishment for the event. The staff placed at each table beef empanadas at the beginning of the event with an amazing sauce. The empanadas were warm and good. They also had pizza, sliders, meatballs and charcuterie boards for us to eat from and everything was delicious. The pizza that stood out was the one with dates. It was sweet and savory. Towards the end, the staff placed popcorn at each table. Every time I went to the bar to get wine, the staff ensured they provided the drinks right away. The staff also ensured the tables were kept neat as they picked up plates and glasses throughout the night. The establishment was lively with the country singer and DJ. This event made me realize that this is a great venue to celebrate any big event. I wished I would have taken pictures of the food provided but I had too much fun enjoying the night.

Place had a great ambience. Intimate but very lovely. There was a dj playing music. Food wasn't great. Garbanzos were very dry and meatballs didn't have much flavor. Service was poor. Waiter didn't offer us water and came to our table twice in a 2 hour period we were there. Overall good but don't think i will be back.

Went here for a quick appetizer while we were waiting for for a table at Don Chepe's. The place is very cute and has a great ambiance for a relaxed night. The wine selection is great, and some of the more basic tapas are good. We had a birria flat bread which we didn't much care for, but the pretzel, cheeses, and meats were all good. I will be back on a night when I want a chill place to hangout.

When we came in, we were asked if we were there for the comedy show. When we said we just wanted food, they told us that they were fully booked for the show, but if we could eat in an hour we could come in. I felt they were a little rude the way they said it and didn't feel welcomed at all. We were only two people, so not even a big party. We decided on just a flatbread to share. And when it came out I was so surprised by how small it was considering the price. Four tiny slices took us about 10 minutes to eat. We waited longer for them to bring us the check than anything else. Overall, the vibes were fun, and the flatbread was good, but definitely overpriced.

This place is amazing! The staff and owners are so wonderful. They make you feel so welcome. Their selection of wine is incredible. I love trying something new each time I go. Ask for Javier when you go! He is super friendly and gives the best recommendations for different wines on their list. The food pairs perfectly with their wine and they also have a great selection of craft beers. My favorite is their Pigs and Fig flatbread and their charcuterie boards. There is something for everyone. It's a super cute place to come with friends or date nights. It's a true gem here in Kendall!

The food was good finger food. The ambiance was good. Great atmosphere! The series was fast and friendly. The wine was great as well. I usually do not drink Malbec but the wi e went well with the food. The band was also fun and entertaining.

This place is adorable!! Came in for a couples date night and we had such a great time! The staff is absolutely wonderful and and made such amazing wine recommendations, we ended up having a bottle of wine that was absolutely delicious! The staff is also so knowledgeable and attentive, I was so impressed with our service! Decor wise, this place is so intimate while also being very inviting! Plenty of tables for being a smaller spot and they even have back couches and bar seating! Very cute interior for pictures and a huge chalk board filled with all the activity they have going on! Lastly the food and wine! Like I said the bottle we were recommended was absolutely delicious and their menu has plenty of price points to meet everyone's budget! Food wise we had a charcuterie board and some meatballs which were both delicious! The board was so aesthetically presented, perfect for pictures!! To end a great night we devoured their bread pudding! A full 5 stars for this little hidden gem!

Love hanging out at Mellow Grapes in Kendall. Great atmosphere & always a fun time. Have to give a shout out this time to the Garbanzos Fritos, which I heard the owner's wife makes. First time trying them & they are truly out of this world and reminds me of the garbanzos my Abuela made. They have a nice selection of wines too. Excellent service also. I attended the Silly Sips Comedy show, which unfortunately was not as funny as other times I've attended. But the vibe is chill, white wine is cold & the location is close to home which always earns this little neighborhood gem 5 stars!

This little local neighborhood gem is fantastic! I would go to Vacillate quite often and was sad to hear they were closing as the owners were pretty nice but the new ownership has transformed this little great wine and beer bar for the better! ! I love that they are doing weekly and monthly events. Whether it's a comedy show, wine tasting, prohibition night, moms nights out, Trivia, you name it! They are really making themselves known in west Kendall and I hope they stick around to a long time! Truffle popcorn is amazing! So are the meatballs and baked Brie! Mellow grapes is a cute little wine bar in west Kendall which is perfect if you want to stay close to home. My friends and I came for a wine tasting night and got to try different wines. The service was great and everyone was very attentive. I really wanted to try the Pigs N' Figs flatbread which looked amazing from past reviews but they were all out when I went. My wife and I continue to enjoy a great time when visiting Mellow Grapes. We've visited multiple times and try not to miss their especial events particularly the comedy nights. I went last weekend with my husband and we were SO impressed with everything... the food, the service, the vibes...were all amazing. We sat at the bar and ordered a bottle of wine, a charcuterie board and a delicious fig and cheese flatbread. It was so fun watching them make our food in front of us! Our server recommended the tres leches and I can honestly say it was the best tres leches I have ever had... my husband and I were fighting over the last bite. The owners came by and checked on us and we felt right at home, we will definitely be back! Oh and the ladies room was so cute :) read more

I came here for the first time today and I can't believe it's only been open for just a few weeks, the service was amazing! From start to finish the vibes were great, everyone was very friendly and the suggestions given by our server were spot on for drinks and food. The food was not only delicious but a spin on classics-the flan flight was unique because not only have I never had a dessert flight like this but the flavors were also amazing (original, chocolate, coconut, coffee). My favorite was the coffee flan! Definitely a must try in the neighborhood and this could easily be an after work happy hour spot, girls night, or date night. I highly recommend this new Wine Bar located on Kendall & 155th Ave. My wife and I went, they had Great wine, tapas, and desserts...all together with Live music makes this place an enjoyable, affordable and great environment kind of place. The service was also very good. The owner-chef will come and greet you at the table, his expertise in desserts which honestly is truly amazing....will definitely surpass your expectations. There's Happy Hour with different days having different specials for different interests. The first Wednesday of the month there is a Wine Tasting, which happened to be yesterday, and we truly loved it. Hope you give it a shot. Family owned business. Highly recommend it!! My husband and I absolutely fell in love with this beautiful quaint family owned wine bar! Mellow Grapes, the new gem of Kendall. The moment I walked in I already felt a smile across my face. I ordered a bottle of wine to share with my lovely wife, the Spanish charcuterie board that I stuffed my face with over the next hour, then later in the evening the truffle popcorn and the tres leches at the request of my wife. I would never order tres leches on my own, but sweet Mary it was amazing. In a room full of strangers for those 3 hours, I felt at home. 2 different strangers were celebrating birthdays and I sang along as if they were my favorite cousin. Definitely gonna be a consistent date night spot going forward when we can manage to escape from our ruthless children. read more

I noticed this new place opening up as I was driving and I'm so glad I did! Wow, what an amazing experience. The decor, music, food and drinks were beyond exceptional. The owner engaged in conversation with us and told us all about the exciting events happening soon such as bottomless brunch, wine tasting and a cafecito tasting as well. Service is A+. As a new restaurant, I can see this place booming!! For food: must try the pigs and figs flatbread! The caprese flatbread is also a hit! For dessert: must try the flan flight!! There is plenty of space for people to sit whether you're on a date or with a small group, but seating is first come first serve, so if you're coming with a group it's better to get there earlier in the evening so you have a space comfortable enough for the size of your group. There is also indoor and outdoor seating which is nice. There are many wines to choose from and they also have a decent menu with light bites. We opted for the Dino nuggets and caviar which were a hit, the fried olives and some meats and cheeses with some cornishons, fig jam and a sliced baguette. Overall this place has a great vibe to it and I heard they host events every so often. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a nice space to chill with some friends and enjoy a nice spot in Miami.

Mellow Grapes is Kendall's GEM! I've learned a lot about wine on my visits, always have amazing service (the owner is always there), and the vibes are just so chill and laid back.
