Excellent service and great tasting food. Best Cuban sandwich we have ever tried. It's not on the menu yet but it's a must have. Ask for the Papo. It's a pork belly Cuban sandwich. Fire if you ask me. They also have a pork belly flat bread which is amazing. The wine is great and they have a great selection. The tapas are good as well. They have three different types of charcuterie boards a Spanish one, Italian and French. The meatballs are tasty. Ambiance is awesome and it's a small friendly venue. The desserts are all excellent from the tea leches to the crème brûlée. They have a great selection of beers as well. This little local neighborhood gem is fantastic! I would go to Vacillate quite often and was sad to hear they were closing as the owners were pretty nice but the new ownership has transformed this little great wine and beer bar for the better! ! I love that they are doing weekly and monthly events. Whether it's a comedy show, wine tasting, prohibition night, moms nights out, Trivia, you name it! They are really making themselves known in west Kendall and I hope they stick around to a long time! Truffle popcorn is amazing! So are the meatballs and baked Brie! Mellow grapes is a cute little wine bar in west Kendall which is perfect if you want to stay close to home. My friends and I came for a wine tasting night and got to try different wines. The service was great and everyone was very attentive. I really wanted to try the Pigs N' Figs flatbread which looked amazing from past reviews but they were all out when I went. I went last weekend with my husband and we were SO impressed with everything... the food, the service, the vibes...were all amazing. We sat at the bar and ordered a bottle of wine, a charcuterie board and a delicious fig and cheese flatbread. It was so fun watching them make our food in front of us! Our server recommended the tres leches and I can honestly say it was the best tres leches I have ever had... my husband and I were fighting over the last bite. I came here for the first time today and I can't believe it's only been open for just a few weeks, the service was amazing! From start to finish the vibes were great, everyone was very friendly and the suggestions given by our server were spot on for drinks and food. The food was not only delicious but a spin on classics-the flan flight was unique because not only have I never had a dessert flight like this but the flavors were also amazing (original, chocolate, coconut, coffee). My favorite was the coffee flan! Definitely a must try in the neighborhood and this could easily be an after work happy hour spot, girls night, or date night. Mellow Grapes, the new gem of Kendall. The moment I walked in I already felt a smile across my face. I ordered a bottle of wine to share with my lovely wife, the Spanish charcuterie board that I stuffed my face with over the next hour, then later in the evening the truffle popcorn and the tres leches at the request of my wife. I would never order tres leches on my own, but sweet Mary it was amazing. In a room full of strangers for those 3 hours, I felt at home. 2 different strangers were celebrating birthdays and I sang along as if they were my favorite cousin.
