This food is amazing great ingredients and Wednesday is half price appetizers and glasses of wine! Our family favorite are the pretzel bites with two dipping sauces both amazing, bear cheese and marinara! We also tried those meatballs on the appetizer menu with the spinach dip, again both winners! I don't think you can go wrong on this appetizer list. Now pizza we usually get basic cheese to please the kids but I have seen other pies with amazingly fresh toppings being served and I plan to have an adult date to try a custom pie. If you like Mellow Mushroom pizza, this is a nice location. Large, clean, with a spacious patio, the bar area has room for about ten chairs and 5-6 high tops. It is likely hoppin on weekends as well as Wednesday nights for its music trivia. The wings I had were a little under done (I asked for extra crispy and they came out like they would if I hadn't asked, and a little cold, too), and the wedge salad (found on the local specials area of the menu) was a little over dressed and under sized. Bar staff was friendly and slightly under attentive. I'm not overwhelmed, but it beats the Pizza Hut which is kitty corner, or the Papa John's about a mile away. read more

Ordered pick-up. Forgot a few items in the order and the meatballs were burnt. Send them a message. Manager called and stated he had given me a $15 credit on the order and it would show on my card. I waited as that seemed fair to me. Credit was NOT applied. Corporate followed up and I let them know that the manager told me there was a credit however none was ever applied. No response. No follow-up. Not from the store, not from corporate. Poor service, poor follow-up and they are liars. Only thing I can think is they want you to think they did the right thing but hope you forget and they did nothing to make it right. My family was one of the first to try this pizza place a soon as they opened this location and loved the quantity and quality of the pizza even though I think it's very high priced for some average pizza but then again I've only had two of their pizza selections. They offer a wide variety on their menu, great for people who may not eat meat or people who are meat lovers and different styles from different regions. Okay I know it's a pizzeria located in GA a state that's done the bare minimum as far as Covid precaution goes and this places shows that. The people coming and going didn't have on masks the waiters barely had on masks I for one did not feel comfortable end was ready to leave. It felt like no one cared about the pandemic. I've been coming here since they opened and have always enjoyed their food, service and atmosphere until today. My wife and I decided to have lunch and sat at the bar so I could watch the golf game. The lady/girl or whatever you want to call her was without a doubt the TRASHIEST talking person I've ever been around. Drunk, loud....I couldn't believe it. The bartender and I believe the manager, guy with spacers in his ear just let her keep going on and on. Kids were in the area and I'm sure they heard the trash talking lady. I live in Kennesaw and have tried all 3 locations and i think the Acworth location is the best. Kennesaw is too inconsistent with food and service and it like hit or miss. Acworth always has good service and the pizza is alway consistently great. read more

We put our name in for six people. As we wait, we witness multiple large groups of people who came in after us get seated. But we didn't say anything. 50 minutes later, after groups of 4, 4, 5, 6 and 8 who came in after us get seated, we ask them what's was going on. After asking twice about our order we were told that one of the pizza wasn't ready (the small cheese pizza, not the two large specialty pizzas) but would be soon. By 6:30 we were already late to our destination and said we just want what's ready and to leave. They all should have been ready and waiting by 5:30 as stated. It was a Friday night so I understand that they're busy, but we sat outside for over 30 minutes waiting for a small cheese pizza to get done. The servers are all under the great eye of the manager Kevin, whose skills, professionalism, and experience can only be executed by the man, the myth, the legend himself. He is always on top of everything! It'd be hard to recommend my favorite menu items as there is no limit to the many combinations of delicious food you can treat yourself to. This time we decided on the Holy Shiitake which is a favorite of ours. It was cooked perfectly and out quickly. Our server Olivia, who we have had several times, was attentive and personable throughout our visit. I love that Mellow Mushroom is accommodating to babies including our own. They have a wonderful kids menu for us to order from. Once our baby is older, he can play with crayons and color with them. In addition to the yummy selection of pizzas, they have healthy salads to keep us all healthy and balanced. If you can't decide between the philosopher's pie and the meat lovers, you don't have to. The wonderful staff at the restaurant will split the pie right down the middle. The crust is delicious, the pizza, cheese, meat, and veggies are all, all delicious. If you like beer, they have a wonderful selection there too. It's fun for the entire family. read more

First time I've been to this location; very busy place. Good place for young college folks. My friend and I had a medium pizza which was the right size. Three slices for two. My brother had the calzone which was huge! Two of my other friends had side salads which was a good portion. My mom had bbq wings which she liked. She ate it all! Last night was the first time we had been to a Mellow Mushroom and we will definitely be back! When we were seated I didn't know what kind of beer I wanted, but our server said that they have over 40 on tap and I could have 2 samples before I decided. Great idea! We had an appetizer of Bruschetta, which was light and fresh. Then we ordered 2 pizzas. There was a barbecue chicken one for the kids that they loved! My husband and I got a spinach, tomato and pesto pizza. I didn't want to stop eating it. SO GOOD! It was a Tuesday and I noticed a sign about Trivia Night. I asked our waitress and someone came over to explain it to us right away. This restaurant is very kid friendly. We stayed and even after finishing our food completed the game. read more

I've been to various Mellow Mushrooms in the area as well as in other states. I have to say hands down this is THE cleanest restaurant by far. The kitchen staff works very hard and I understand that all pizzas are made to order so it may take some more time. It's always so worth it! They have the best daily drink and food specials during the week and the bartenders Tristen, Emily, and Sarah never disappoint with their amazing and quick service. I have been coming here for years and since COVID hit they have a great take out operation and their staff is very considerate and cautious. This is a new location and as Mellow Mushroom locations go, this one is real cool! Being new, they are still working out the kinks. It took some time for our server to get to us when we were there and she wasn't completely familiar with the processes. She may have been training, but very nice and we were treated well. She made up for it with her great attitude. The food took some time to get there, but it was late in the evening. Overall it was a good experience and the food was good. With some time and a bit more experienced staff, they will get 5 stars. read more
