The pizza was really good but we waited in line for 58 minutes adn we were told that waiting time is 40 min. The worst part is that once we finally sit down, the server told us that waiting time for food is 1 hour. we waited for 2 hour and 15 min to get our food. This is crazy. No where in this world I would wait for food for 2 hours. They must have told us since beginning that we would have to wait another 1 hour after we sit. Will never go again. read more

We waited for 35 minutes for a table. We had no problem with that we understood that it is a busy weekend with the students coming back into town. That's fine we sat at the bar and had a few beers while we waited. What we did have a problem with is, when we finally got a table we sat for 20 minutes without being acknowledged. Both tables on either side of us we taken care of by a waitress but not one "I will be with you in just a moment". We finally walked out once we had finished our beer, without being greeted and without eating. It's a busy weekend for anyone in customer service or hospitality however 20 minutes with no acknowledgement is not acceptable by any means in any industry. read more

Called the restaurant 4 times and nobody answered so I went to get a takeout appetizer. 30 min later I got the appetizer and the whole point of me calling was so I would not have to wait for some delicious food, which they do have. But then decided I'd call again a couple weeks later and still no answer on the phone. So went down and ate with some friends and waited an hour for a small pizza and an appetizer on a Monday night with 5 tables in the restaurant. I feel bad for them, with this kind of service they are going to lose business based on wait time not the quality of the food. read more

Came in at 1:34pm to eat a late lunch bc my fiancé had a doctor's appointment at 3:30pm. We ended up leaving at 3:11pm and had to have our entrées boxed up to take home and eat there. It wasn't too terribly busy and it took about 40 minutes to just get our appetizer. Our waitress came to check on us one time the entire time and while she was at our table, my beer glass was empty and she didn't even ask if I needed a refill or whatever. Went there with my family for lunch. The Magic mushroom soup was delicious- perhaps the best I ever had- but the portion size was small. Too small to justify the $4.99 price. Pizza was delicious. The steak and cheese sub was tasteless and packed with way too much lettuce. We went there at a not so busy time and it took about 35-40 minutes to receive our food. Service was very slow. Seriously people. This place is fun! I have no idea why it has an overall 3 star. We had the Holy Shitake and the Buffalo chicken with an appetizer of cheesy bread. The app disappeared very fast! I do recommend considering a salad or something other than a bread app since the pizza has the same dough. My kids and I loved the bread though. Make sure you like truffle oil if you get the mushroom pizza. Very good. Even my husband loved it who doesn't like mushroom pizza usually! Read the reviews on trip advisor too before you go. People will tell you what to order that's the best! And, it's not fast. it's fun. If you go, you will wait about 40 minutes for pizza. I reckon I caught them on a bad night. After just over an hour wait to be seated and another hour to get the food, my hoagie was poor quality. Half the bread was very hard and something was burned black. The sandwich had a burned taste & I did not eat it. Half the bread on a second hoagie was sorta hard. The family did enjoy the pizza, but my experience was very poor. One final note - on a Satruday night, the restaurant is loud. read more

Pretty disappointed. I have eaten at the M.M. In Charlottesville and thought it was excellent. Unfortunately this was not the case here. It was not particularly busy but the food took over an hour to arrive. Several items (like the veggie burger) were not available. The pizza was decent. My Greek salad was a bowl of iceberg lettuce, shredded carrots out of a bag and Purple cabbage, with a very thin veneer of finely ground feta cheese and literally one half of an olive. Not a Greek salad by any stretch. We probably won't return to this one unless there are big mprovements. read more

This is delicious pizza. I especially love the crust. We had pizza bites as appetizer with marinara and cheese sauce. These are made with the same great dough used for the crust of the pizza with generous parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Great service and beer selection. read more

I have eaten at this location twice now. I do like their pizza and believe spending a little more for it is reasonable. However this previous visit ended with a bit of a surprise. My SO and myself ventured in and decided on Caesar Salads for lunch. The "Reg" size is $6.99 which we felt was reasonable. We both decided on adding chicken to the salad which to both of us seemed like a $2.99 upcharge according to the menu. When we received the bill, apparently the $2.99 upcharge was for the "Lil" size and the "Reg" size was a $4.99 upcharge. We both had not seen $4.99 listed anywhere. The bill total was ~$23 and was over $26 after tax. (Obviously tax is not in MM's control). After tipping a waitress for politeness, waters with no refill (we never needed any), and delivery of our salads, the bill is surely going over $30 for these salads. If you know the price when ordering, there should be no complaints. We just felt a little mislead by the menu's listed upcharge. read more

Posted that they are open until 2am. Went in on Graduation Friday night at 11:15 and they told us they were closing. Really?

Where do I begin.. first of all it wasn't busy maybe 5 tables of people. Took forever to get the food. Friend ordered a beer took 15 mins to get and we were 4 feet from the bar. The tables surrounding us were covered in the previous customers trash they weren't cleaned up for at least an hour even though tons of employees just walking around chatting and flirting with each other. I actually watched a waitress grab a pizza that was ready and she picked something off of it and flicked it on the floor. Saw another waitress pick her shorts out of her crotch while waiting for a pizza to finish. When the pizzas finally arrived neither were cut.. well I mean they cut thru the cheese I guess. They brought us a coke that tasted like something that you would dump into your car engine. I think I could go on but you get the picture. This is the first restaurant I have ever taken the time to review. That's how bad it was!!! read more

This place seems like it's run like a chicken with it's head cutoff after multiple times eating there with my whole family and a few times grabbing a quick bite and drinks with my wife. Long wait times, understaffed, when I complained about a burnt pizza the manager, I believe his name was Ben was running the food (while overhearing one of the few servers there saying that he never does that, he really should not be with his terrible service and attitude), was very rude and blamed it on the restaurant being understaffed...not to mention hearing him cursing from the kitchen when I had my children with me. Totally unaccountable and being understaffed as a manager sounds like a personal problem. I will no longer be spending any money at this establishment despite their awesome beer selection and bartenders. read more

Unfortunately this was one of the worse mellow mushroom experiences we have ever had. Upon arrival the host was very nice however sat us at a table that we were literally sitting on top of a display. Our waitress was nice in manners but was not an overall good waitress. Most of the beers I attempted to order had just tapped. My friends beers were room temperature meaning the kegs aren't cold or they sat on the counter for a while. Our waitress kept running back and forth not really allowing us to place our order for apps. Which meant we had to order them with out meal. We waited almost 45 min for even the app. When the app and pizza came out at the same time the pizza was cold. After dropping our pizza off My friend asked for a side of marinara which we sadly never got. The next time we saw our waitress she was giving us the checks. Then she disappeared. We sat and sat until my husband after 10 min had to go find her standing in a corner talking to the other waitresses. This answers many of our disappearing act questions during our time there. During out time waiting i over heard another waiter trying to be funny but began to talk as if he was intellectually disabled. As a special education teach and as a client who noticed this out of everything else this made me sick to my stomach. I was beyond over this experience. This saddens me for many reasons. I hope that this location figures itself out and tells their waiters and waitresses proper manners and work ethic that will make dining experiences relaxing and awarding like they should be. Def will second guess coming to this location or recommending this location to anyone. read more

If you are a wing eater, this is the place for you. The oven baked wings are to die for. The magic mushroom soup is a great start for any meal, but it should be heated up a bit more.
