I was there from out of town for work stuff and jumped in here for some late dinner as I arrived to Chattanooga. It was a late time for dinner for me since I left the central time zone and arrive to the eastern time zone this evening. So it wasn't totally filled with people but were plenty of people inside there. My server was super nice and enjoyable and helped me grab a small meal instead of me eating that awesome pizza they had. I felt it was too late to eat too much that evening. So I ate that other stuff and she had told me it was good but I had to argue with her at the end. I told her she was wrong because instead of good, it was actually way more better than just good. Great little pizza joint and within walking distance of Embassy Suites. It's right across the parking lot. Ordering online a plus! Friendly staff Take out very fast Did not dine inside, but it's whimsical and decorated with a fun theme. Ordered the pepperoni pizza for my kiddo and I have to say it was pretty good. The crust is very unique- almost like a hybrid pretzel/ pizza crust with salt. I loved it. It was a little chewy and flaky. The crust was amazingly good and unique! We had a large group of 11 people and tried to reserve at 8 pm, but we were told that there would be a 30 minute wait so that wasn't too bad. From what I saw before going in, there was also large parties that looked bigger than ours so that's understandable. A few of us got the Holy Shiitake, and it was so delicious. The mushrooms and onions were a great combination, it was flavorful, savory, and slightly sweet from the caramelized onions. And the garlic aioli on top was a perfect addition, it was creamy and tasted light. After I'd finish a slice, I would get excited to go back for more haha. I was very impressed by their service, they took care of us well and always circled back to get us what we needed or how long the wait was for our order. The food is always so good. We always for the pepperoni pizza and pretzels with beer cheese sauce. So amazing. I could eat the cheese sauce on everything!! The service is fantastic. This is our preferred Mellow Mushroom in Chattanooga. It's usually less overwhelmed than the downtown location. The pizza is top-notch - I generally order their version of the works. And recently we tried our pizza with thin crust - very enjoyable. Don't forget to request some garlic butter dipping sauce! Their Balsamic Champagne Apple dressing for their salads is a continual delight! Finally, ask to be seated in Kendra or Hunter's section for great service. read more

Was told give it 30-45 minutes. Well , it was about 40 minutes... the pizza looked like it had been sitting there overnight, it was cold & looked dry. Mighty Meats, not, hardly any toppings on it. Omg. I got a carry out order with a special pizza. I loved loved loved it. It was cauliflower crust, olive oil and garlic, mozzarella cheese, chicken, and basil. It was so good. I took my time eating it but really enjoyed. I can't have red sauce and have to watch my carbs so it was perfect for me and super tasty. I will definitely return to get that again. (3.5 stars) Finally decided to try Mellow Mushroom's calzone and it was quite good. Huge, soft dough, gooey cheese, good size side of marinara. The only problem is I ordered it with onions, and it came with BEEF and onions. Good thing I'm not a vegetarian, but I really didn't want meat. I also got an order of 10 wings, jerk and teriyaki. Both were pretty good, surprisingly. The jerk wasn't nearly spicy enough but it's what I expected from an American chain pizza place. They were also a tiny bit over cooked. The teriyaki wings were bursting with flavor and seemed to be better cooked, which doesn't make sense since I assume all the wings were cooked at the same time? read more

Love that they are still enforcing social distancing! Hosts are friendly and helpful. Happy hour deals are great, $3 drafts and $10 buck buckets. Servers are overworked and trying their hardest. It makes it difficult to point out even the small flaws but we're here for honest reviews. There are times we don't get drink refills and have had to accept minor errors with our order because we don't see a server between food delivery and getting the check. The pizza is always fantastic, the dough produces a slightly sweet crust that beautifully caramelizes in the oven. Highly recommend the Holy Shiitake if you're a mushroom fan (it's also great as a calzone) read more

I know when I come to this location that food is going to be a while. I make sure to not be in a rush when I come. I typically sit at the bar and besides the food being a while everything else is fine. I came 7/6/23 around 1:30 pm with a few friends. As there were 3 of us we sat at a table instead of at the bar. First it took 6 minutes to be greeted and sat at a table. But after that it was another 12 minutes before we were even acknowledged. The server seemed like she was in a rush and had an apathetic tone the whole time. We had to ask for straws. Once we got our drinks and placed our food order we weren't checked on till we got our food. And then once again weren't checked on till we were done eating. We had to wave her down for refills. We also saw two other groups get sat at tables that were dirty. The meal itself was good and the wait time was typical for mellow mushroom. I'm hoping this is more so seen so that there's improvement. I myself plan on coming back and eating at the bar at some point. But the lack of cleanliness was enough for the others in my group to state they don't plan on visiting this location again. read more
