Egg White Veggie Wrap
David D.

On my short visit to Flemington, I liked this place so much that I got 2 breakfast meals and 2 lunch meals and brought one of my Flemington family members here for breakfast--it was that good. For breakfast: I got the Egg White Veggie Wrap 2X. Don't see any reason to get anything else here for Breakfast. It was the best of the best of any place you will eat breakfast. For lunch: I got the Boar's Head Oven Gold Turkey on a Multi-Grain Bagel 2X with Lettuce, Pickles, Onions, Tomatoes. Hold the Mayo, add Mustard. I took the second one on the plane with me out of Philadelphia and it held up well on the way to Denver. Bagels here are excellent. People that work here--work hard, but are rough and gruff--they are doing You a favor by serving you such great food so don't expect friendliness. Don't expect a hello or thank you--just quality food served Fast. And I rather have great food and bad attitude, than great attitude and bad food. You want both? Move to Iowa. There are a few tables inside to sit at after you order--clean them yourself--they are too busy to get to them. Free and easy parking. Thanks for staying open on Labor Day when everyone else was closed. I would definitely dine here again on my next trip to Flemington.

Breakfast sandwich (Taylor ham, egg, cheese on a hard roll) and coffee. Great as always.

Simply. Delicious. Ordered ahead of time for pickup and it was ready to go within 10 - 15 minutes. The sandwiches were hot and the cheese was melted perfectly. We were asking ourselves... wow what is making this so good?! Not only was it hot but there was a generous amount of meat on the sandwich and a perfect balance of all workings. The bagels were soft so we knew they were very fresh and double sided with everything seasoning which is always a huge plus. The shop was busy but not crowded because the staff were hustling and ensuring everyone a short but enjoyable experience while picking up their food. Highly recommend!

Classic small town Bagel and Deli where you can get a good breakfast sandwich, bagels, and classic sandwiches, subs, and wraps. It is a great place to go for a decent deli sandwich at a reasonable price. About 6 indoor tables and 2 or three outdoor tables offer seating, but it gets crowded on weekends.

Super simple bagel shop with good food. I went with a simple western omelette bagel sandwich. Ingredients in the omelette are cooked up a little first (I think the right way, not just folded into a cooked egg.) Also some home fries right in the sandwich as well. If it was somewhere local to me I'd definitely be giving it a frequent go.

The service is kinda slow due to high demand. They tend to forget something in the order. The egg and cheese on a bagel is delicious.

The food was delicious (we had several salads, both chicken and lamb…read moresouvlaki which came with rice, salad abd french fries, hummus, baba ganoush, spicy feta with pita bread ...) The coffee was so strong and nice, and came in the cutest cups and saucers that looked like purses. And there are cake parfaits (photo below) in a variety of flavors. I had pistachio and chocolate, my sister had the strawberry shortcake - everything was fresh and flavorful. They can accomodate larger groups but it is best to call ahead as it is a popular place. The staff was also very nice!

It's such a great local spot, and I don't think enough people realize what it is or how good it's become. My mom and I stopped in for lunch and sat outside on Main Street, which was honestly so lovely. It felt really special to just sit, enjoy a great meal, and be part of the community. We met Mo, who took such great care of us and made the whole experience feel warm and welcoming. We started with the hummus, which was incredibly fresh and smooth, and you could tell everything was made with care. For our mains, we had the lamb chops and the lemon chicken, both of which were delicious. The lamb was tender and perfectly cooked, and the lemon chicken had such a bright, balanced flavor. The potatoes were a standout, roasted and finished in a lemon butter that made them unforgettable. If you haven't been in a while, or didn't realize there's been a change, it's definitely worth stopping in. Main Street businesses could really use the support, and this place is one that deserves it. Go say hi to Mo and give it a try.

The only small thing I'd change is that I wish the fresh-squeezed orange juice had been chilled or offered over ice. I didn't ask, though, so I can't really count that against them. The carne asada omelette was delicious--perfectly fluffy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. The tres leches French toast had a beautifully crisp, toasted exterior while staying soft and moist in the center. We were lucky enough to be seated immediately, and the staff was friendly and accommodating, even letting us choose where we wanted to sit. The restaurant has a cute atmosphere with tasteful decor, good music, and a comfortable noise level. The restrooms were clean and updated, and parking was easy and conveniently close. Since we visited on a holiday, parking was even free. Overall, it was a wonderful brunch and a great way to start the day. One thing to note: the specialty drinks are all mocktails, so if you're looking for bottomless mimosas or a boozy brunch, this probably isn't the place for that.

So upon doing my research I came across this restaurant. Now of course upon reading reviews everyone said to get there early because the line can get long especially on a Saturday and Sunday morning. So we arrived around 8:30 on Saturday and we were seated right away because it was only two of us . The service was excellent we were seated right away . Our waiter came out and gave us the rundown of the menu . They had a promo menu because of the Devil Wears Prada movie . I did get a specialty non alcoholic drink from the menu which was excellent. We ordered the French toast and the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and it came with smoked salmon on sourdough bread . The French toast was so good and moist you didn't even need to add additional syrup . The food was delicious and the portion sizes are perfect . The restaurant is cozy so if you have a big party make reservations. But you won't be disappointed I can't wait to visit Brunch by De Martino again whenever I come back to New Jersey . Please check them out you won't regret it .

Frenchtown Cafe has been here for as long as…read moreI can remember - I don't know if it was in this EXACT location the whole time, but my childhood memories going back to the early 90s definitely included this. I grew up down the road in Milford, and our go-to restaurant in Frenchtown was always Napoli by the park, but I'm pretty sure we ended up here once or twice. Honestly? Wasn't the best on our most recent visit, and the sky-high reviews might be the result of an inflated tourist bump. I came here yesterday for lunch with one of my OG chums around 1:30, 2pmish. Despite it being a pretty meh weather day, the town was packed and loud, likely at least partially because Bastille Day was the next day (aka today as I'm writing this) - lot of French flags and perhaps a few more tourists than usual. Frenchtown is always pretty touristy on a summer Saturday though, to be fair. We chose Frenchtown Cafe because Piazzi next door was closed; and for me at least, it was nice to get some indoor seating away from the humidity and the high-decibel concert across the street. My first impressions, which were substantiated throughout our meal, was that there were a few too many tables packed into the restaurant, which I always consider a shameless money grab, especially if it's coming at the expense of the comfort of your customers. If it wasn't NYC-level/bumping up against your neighbor, it was close. And any time you happened to stand up, you had to be very careful/cognizant of your surroundings because more than likely, an employee or other customer was right behind you. In hindsight, would have advocated for the outdoor seating. I wasn't in the mood for a sandwich/melt, so I went with a plain hamburger and fries. Eh. The burger was clearly pre-made/frozen meat, and it was SUPER greasy. My chum got a melt, which was also dripping with grease. Hard to find selling points in your entrees when your paws are covered in a substance that's going to literally congeal into lard at some point if you don't clean them. Hard to pivot, but beyond that, the burger was at least cooked to my specifications (medium rare). The fries were by far the biggest selling point - perfectly crispy, just the way I like it. The service was just okay. Our waitress seemed very nice but wasn't the most attentive and beyond getting the check, never checked in to see how the food was. It WAS busy in there, but the waits for everything were a bit longer than they should have been. I doubt I'll be back any time soon, though I recall a lot of people coming here more for breakfast - that's probably the play if you're set on frequenting what was for us a mediocre establishment.
