2 eggs, bacon, hashbrowns and biscuits and gravy
    Danielle B.

I came in for a late breakfast. I ordered 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns and biscuits and gravy with a cup of coffee. My coffee was weak. My bacon was cold and had congealed bacon grease on it. My hash browns were hard and tasted like they had been fried in old grease. The texture of the biscuit was like a cake, it was really different. The gravy didn't have much flavor. I could only eat a little bit of everything because it wasn't very good. The one good thing about this place is the price, my breakfast was reasonably priced, it just wasn't edible

Great Diner experience . Large selection of food, and great staff. The prices are very reasonable, and the food is amazing.

My usual go to breakfast spot was closed from the recent flooding. So I checked out Mel's biscuits and gravy. The best in Fremont! Great flavors, plenty of biscuits and gravy. A nice rib sticker to start the day!

There were five of us, and they had no problem accommodating our group, which made things easy right from the start. I ordered the prime rib sandwich special, and it was solid--tender meat, good flavor, and paired well with the bun and cheese. The fries were nicely seasoned and hit the spot. We also had a few cocktails, and those were well done too, which helped set a relaxed, celebratory tone for the night. One thing that stood out was the birthday touch--they brought out ice cream for the birthday guest without us even asking. That kind of gesture goes a long way and made the night feel a little more special. The atmosphere is comfortable and works well whether you're just grabbing dinner or celebrating something. The only downside was the service being a bit slow at times. That said, we weren't in a hurry, so it didn't really take away from the experience. Overall, I'd say it's a solid spot in Fremont. Good food, a welcoming vibe, and thoughtful touches--definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

I will say that I find it very difficult to find the positives at this time with the establishment. Firstly, the same waitress is there and she is miserable. She acts as if you're an inconvenience for being in the establishment. The food quality is low, and they have messed up the order 2/3 times. I do applaud the host/server who corrected a mistake that the kitchen noticed on a takeaway order. Some improvements I recommend- non styrofoam containers. They melt from hot food and spill. Retrain staff on service etiquette, and work on delivering a well rounded meal that holds up to the prices.

This is a MUST TRY kinda place if you find yourself anywhere close to Woodcliff Lake. Being that it was our first visiting here, our server Ainsley was very patient with us and gave us time to look over the menu. We both opted for the house salad to start. Very good!! Being that it was Thursday and every Thursday is burger night, we both ordered the house special the " I dip, you dip, we French dip". It's an all beef burger topped with roast beef , grilled onions and Swiss cheese. Served with a your choice of sides and a bowl of as Au Jus . I'm going to go out on a limb here and honestly say that I cannot remember a time that I had a better burger than this. It wasn't all the French dip toppings that made it so memorable, it was the beef patty that was cooked and seasoned to perfection. This lends us to believe that all their burgers are going to be amazing. We will be going back.

And it's comes with a side of country gravy just like chicken fried steak, how could I not try a special burger like that.... And I was not disappointed! It was wonderful, so juicy and flavorful, with the breading surrounding a hand made patty, dipped into that thick, got peppery gravy.... So, so, so good. My wife chose the mushroom Swiss Burger and tots. She couldn't finish the whole burger, it was a big Burger with lots of tots, so I got to try it. She had be reaching about it all the time we were eating, as was I about my burger, and I wasn't sure I could eat the small little sliver she had left but she gave it to me to try and, wow.... It was really as good as what I got. So much cheese and mushrooms, and the burger was perfectly cooked and seasoned. If you find yourself out near Fremont Nebraska, close to a one horse town named Nickerson, with a bar and grill named the One Horse Saloon, stop and eat.... Don't pass this place up. Btw....as we were getting ready to leave, the couple next to us ordered ribs, and I almost say back down for another meal. So many great choices.... We have got to come back here.

I've visited on two occasions and the bartenders do that their job and just that. Friendly and accommodating but sometimes they don't know what you need. Darts and slots are available. You can also play a game of pool if so desired and Karaoke if you're into that. If you order a Moscow mule they'll ask for your ID - I guess copper mugs have been stolen? This didn't irk me as much as make me laugh, but I'd just rather you didn't give me a copper mug. I almost forgot my ID because that's just quite a bit out of the norm compared to my average bar experiences. We are both huge karaoke fans, and Tin Lizzie's happily accommodated that want. They quit serving food at 8. If you want something after the fact; they do offer delivery from another place not too far from the bar itself. Drinks are cheap. Where there are cheap drinks you will find cheap drunks. Everyone here knew each other, and everyone who came here had a lot to talk about the more they drank. Being the out of towner that I was -- I can tell you on 3 occasions where girls came over to me and spilled their heart out. How did I manage to become a therapist is beyond me.... including one of them who felt it was necessary to discuss her endeavors with my relative the night before. WHY would you tell me this?! Awkward.... Aside from that, the drinks here are really good. The karaoke was a ton of fun as well. I enjoyed the vast selections of songs you could choose from even though country music seemed to be the prime theme of the evening. They offer billiards. Those were pretty hot for the night too. Smoking is allowed outside on the patio, and not within the establishment which made me happy. I am a non-smoker. The patio is big enough to hold a few people if the weather is right. It is also fenced in for privacy. Dress code -- biker or cowboy casual. Google it. Tin Lizzie's is pretty solid and I would return for a drink and for entertainment purposes.... sans playing therapist again.
