Menchies is amazing. I think that some of their flavors like Cookies and Cream (real cookies used) are bar none the best, period. For some reason several Menchies do not carry cookies and cream because the cookies they use clog up the machine sometimes and it take 1-2min to fix, but it's by far their best and highest grossing frozen yogurt flavor. Menchies also tends to bring in new flavors often including seasonal flavors like pumpkin during October. They have huge number of toppings including fresh juicy strawberries (my favorite) and delicious almonds. Awesome frozen yogurt. read more

I went to Menchie's yesterday because we were craving ice cream. Low calorie frozen yogurt seemed like the best option. The staff was helpful when I called ahead to find out if they had any sugar free options. There were three choices vanilla, strawberry and coffee flavors available. When I arrived at Menchie's it was easy to find parking. I entered the business and was a bit disoriented because I did not know how to order or find the cups for the yogurt. Luckily one of the staff members gave me a brief orientation. I made my selection and picked strawberry and vanilla. At another counter there were various toppings. I chose diced strawberries and added about two spoonfuls of the strawberries. Next, I went to pay for my two selections. I was shocked to see my voices cost over $15.00! This was way too expensive! I took the frozen yogurt home. We ate our selection and thought the yogurt had a chemical taste to it. Neither of the flavors were great tasting. They were I probably won't go back to Menchie's. It is overpriced and did not taste good. It also wasn't clear how much each selection costs. read more

Bright and colorful new froyo shop replacing Heart Village yogurt that used to be there. I'm such a sucker for frozen yogurt so I just went by myself. Solo froyo dinner winner! While the setup looks fun with the cashier in the center of the shop, there's hardly any space between the counter and the yogurt so it's kind of awkward dodging other froyo addicts without trampling the children. Maneuvering through the toppings area was a bit tight as well. The yogurt itself was really good. I'm a grandma so my favorite is the classic tart and Menchie's did not disappoint. They had some chocolate options as well as a few fruit flavors including the famous Dole Whip that they have at Disneyland (and the Dole plantation in Hawaii of course). In terms of the toppings they have a really good selection and its nice and clean. They even have cool whip and chocolate covered strawberries which I have never seen before. I was a little bummed about the price though. 44cents/oz! I think that's more expensive than Yodiggity (which I really don't care for) and this place is a chain so you'd think they could afford to cut the price a bit. Chosen Yogurt (a couple blocks north) is a local family business that donates part of their funds to different charities each month so I get why they are a bit more expensive. I would definitely come back here (super close to my house and they stay open until 11pm! Double win.) But my two favorites in town are still Yogurtland (like 36cents/oz! and freakin delish) and Chosen Yogurt. read more

If you're ever looking for a delicious dessert place to satisfy your sweet tooth, then this is the perfect place to go! This is mine and my family's favorite place to go every Saturday after dinner! We've been coming here for years and I can honestly say we have never had a bad experience. The flavors are so yummy, and I love that they put out the sample cups for customers to freely take compared to Yogurtland where you have to keep asking the employees for more. Not to mention, the customer service is superb! The employees always have the biggest smile on their faces and are always happy to help you out with anything you need. They also make sure to keep the place as spotless as can be. The great selection of toppings are what makes this place the greatest though. There are so many toppings to choose from, I've honestly never seen another yogurt place with this many options. They make sure to have anything and everything for anybody. 10/10 would recommend! read more

It's hard for me to like any ice cream or froyo place, namely as I am lactose intolerant and often times the non-dairy options are either non-existent (Forcing me to take a couple enzyme pills) or... gross. I'm partial to their pineapple sorbet and it gives me some serious nostalgia flash backs to the Tiki Room in Disneyland, and with the toppings they offer, it makes it even better to enjoy. Though on a more recent visit, I decided to hunker down, bring a few pills and try one of their dairy options. After all, if the non-dairy is fantastic, what must the others be like? Best froyo shop in town. The service is friendly. They always seem happy to see me and mine. The froyo is terrific too. They have a big selection including my favorite Oreo Cookie. It's just creamy and delicious. I'm not a fan of sorbet, but they have that too. There are tons of toppings, cold stuff and syrups to try. Oreo froyo with Hershey's Caramel syrup is the best. Best yogurt in town hands down! I work at a yogurt store in town and still come to Menchie's on my days off. Yes, I know I'm cheating on my store but it so good I can't resist! Unlike most yogurt shops, Menchie's doesn't have a stamp card but a rewards card where you get "smiles" for every dollar spent, and when you reach a 55 "smiles" you get a $5 reward. Regardless all of their flavors are BOMB.COM, and they have a large selections of topping and sauces. Their isn't a flavor I have tried and didn't like! My wife and I love Menchies and eat here often. Prices are pretty cheap and the selection of flavors and toppings is amazing. I like how they rotate in flavors frequently so it doesn't feel stale. I only found Menchie's in the last month, but I'm never going to Yogurtland again. With equitable prices but more topping selection and a huge selection of unique flavors, this place can't be beat as far as yogurt chains go! As someone with many dietary restrictions, the large and easy-to-understand ingredient labeling and signs show they really care about the customer needs, and give me the confidence to try their many different flavors.
