They specialize of course in choux pastries, but they also make meringues and canelés which happen to be my favorite. This time I got two matcha canelés, two original and 4 choux: mango ginger (oh my god, what a wonderful pairing this is), pistachio, raspberry and lemon meringue. The choux is light and fluffy. Topped with crackling and beautifully decorated, these choux are filed to the top on the inside with delicious mouse/cream making the perfect bite. The canelés were also delicious. Caramelized (yet not burned) on the outside and fluffy and custardy in the inside. Highly recommend to anyone fan of good pastries. You can place your order online or pick up at their store front. They do not add any food coloring or processed flavorings, so they are distinctly rustic and natural. It is not sticky, gooey or has too much sugar stuck on them. I like the hazelnut flavor. The cupcakes are decorated nicely. Their Italian Meringue Cupcake is a rich Double-Chocolate cake with a light and fluffy marshmallow-like texture makes me think of a hostess cupcake. I had two yellow cream cheese frosting gingerbread cupcakes, raspberry chocolate and strawberry vanilla cupcake. I am happy with the selection I received which is a great way to try and determine if this bakery knows how to make a good cupcake. I enjoyed their carrot cake cupcake.
