    Steak Burrito
    Kyle S.

In a strip mall all the way to the end, not a lot of parking in the lot across the street. Had to park adjacent to the curb which I despise. I got the steak burrito and it was serviceable. The steak was the best tasting item in the burrito. I thought the rice and beans were pretty tasteless, nothing sour cream can't fix. The red hot sauce that came with it was bland. My colleague was not impressed with his steak enchiladas. Some people love this place others think it's decent, nobody thinks it's bad. This was my first time here I will need to do a followup, but so far I am not impressed. I did think they provided a lot of value for the price, however.

Chicken tacos - radishes and cilantro abound! Lime too

Whaaaaaat! This place is an AUTHENTIC JEWEL! I got 2 cbicken tacos and 2 pork Tamales and I was blown away - This is the best latin food spot Ive come across in a while. Its cheap and absolutelt delicious. Staff is friendly and FAST. These people HUSTLE. I can easily say I will be back to try...uh...everything!

Mercado Azteca & Deli is the best authentic Mexican food I have found in the Westchester area. It's an unassuming bodega and deli within a busy strip mall, but the food they're producing inside is easily the best authentic Mexican food in the area. My favorite item from Mercado Azteca is their torta, a Mexican sandwich named after the "drowned sandwich" in the early 1900s when a street vendor in Guadalajara accidentally dropped a sandwich in a container of salsa. Alas, the torta. The Mercado campechana torta is prepared with tender pieces of steak and spicy chorizo, adorned with the usual refried beans, lettuce, onions, avocado, jalapeno, and mayo, sandwiched between the pillowy soft bread. There are elements of rich meat flavor, spicy jalapeno and chorizo, crunch of the lettuce, acidity from the onions, and the unctuous deepening of the avocado and mayo. They're massive, they're messy, and they're powerfully flavorful. Mercado also serves sopes, tamales, burritos, nachos, tacos, quesadillas, and cemita. I highly recommend the guac/chips. Perfectly ripe avocados and perfectly balanced in acidity/salt with well fried fresh tortilla chips.

This place is great for delivery if you're in the mood for Mexican food. The food is delicious and the portions are good. The chimichanga and burritos are delicious.

Half of the Chorizo Cemita! Delish!

We have now ordered delivery from here several times, including food for a small party Fast turnaround time Very reasonable prices Super fresh ingredients Wide selection of classic Mexican dishes Huge menu Queso Fundido was spot on, served with four tortillas and loaded with fresh peppers, chorizo, onions and cheese. I kick it up with mushrooms Burritos, tacos all terrific. Camarones a la Diabla were delish. The Cemitas - classic Mexican sandwiches served on monster sized fresh rolls are a meal and a half for $7 and whether steak, pork or chorizo were all killer. A free liter of soda or iced tea arrives each time. Absolutely great.

My go to order. Three assorted tacos, rice & beans

My go-to whenever I have the hankering for authentic Mexican. It may look like a standard no frills bodega/deli but it is simply the best Mexican I've had in Westchester. I'm practically evangelical about the food here. Everyone I've told to go here has been thankful for the advice. Can't go wrong with any of their tacos. I always order three tacos and their rice & beans. Highly recommend the Arabe taco. It's a special rolled taco w spicy pork. And their Huevos con Carnitas is the best meal ever for $7. Mouth watering as I write this. Just go. You won't be disappointed.

Wowowowowowww. This place is a bit hidden, we almost couldn't find it lol. But just keep walking in. Pass DK, pass Jamaican food, pass Chinese food, thennnn you'll see it at the very end! Kind of pricey. Not THE best but very good. I'd come again. Al Pastor Burrito: soooo good! A bit greasy on the bottom but that's alrightttt, we don't mind it. Meat was marinated perfectly. Size isn't too big or too small. They put pineapple in it which is a first for us. I usually see pineapple & pork on tacos, not burritos. Still very good!! Al Pastor taco: flavorful & messy, loved it! Felt like they should've grilled the tortillas a bit longer tho. Tripa taco: tripa was delicious! Must've been cleaned very well. I liked it a lot. Horchata: not too sweet, I definitely enjoyed it! Guac, salsas, pico de gallo we're all good!

Amazing food. I've had the steak and chicken tacos, chimichangas and the guacamole. Everything was yummy. We will definitely go back.

I always ask "what's good today?", he always replies, "everything!" Then I give my considerations, "it's between the Cuban or tacos" of which he replied "Cuban". I agreed, let's do it. It was snowing and cold. I guess I could've waited in my car but I chose to take in the scenery and stand next to the small propane heater Octavio generously placed outside his trailer. The food came out after maybe 7 min, not long. I quickly shuffled back to my car and got on the road. I opened the tray while driving through the winding Bear Mountain, probably not the smartest thing I've ever done. But this guy was hungry. First we have to try a fry. Crisp, seasoned well and delicious. I wanted to take a bite of the sandwich. It was going to be a chore while driving. The bread looked so good. I could see ham, pork and pickle sticking out the side and I needed a bite. I took a mental note of the tray. I kept my left hand on the steering wheel and my eyes on the road. I reached down w my right hand, grabbed the sandwich and took a monster bite. YUCK A BIG CHUNK OF PORK FAT. I spit it out and ate the rest of the bite. It was good, really good BUT it had a Smokey taste that I didn't love. It wasn't bad, just not my cup of tea. In any event the ingredients were fresh, the bread was toasted and crispy, the fries with the little tub of ketchup were just right. I enjoyed the lunch and look forward to my next trip to Octavios.
