This place is in this newish food court. They use fresh fish and the quality was good. Flavors were pretty tasty too, which is always good. I got my poke to go, but there are also tables inside so you can sit to eat.

New poke bowl place located in the new food court next to Liliha McDonald's. The parking lot is sketchy but the food court is a pleasant surprise. There's a bar in here too. Back to the Mermaid.....the fish is fresh, there are many poke choices and poke is mixed fresh for you. Bowl includes two sides and free toppings. Great choice if you're looking for poke in this area because there's parking. I'll be back.

Update 2-28-26. Ordered again from here and this time my side was Kim chee instead of the pickled ogo. Still shoyu ahi, imitation crab, and this time Kim chee. It was good but I still prefer sushi rice.

Located in the Newly Opened Liliha Food Court is Mermaid Poke. This location is very convenient and has ample parking. Located close to Liliha McDonalds in the old Foodland location, inside Liliha food court. Mermaid Poke is either 5oz or 8oz of Fresh poke and comes with 2 sides over white rice. This is the place to check out if you want the poke made to order. They have so many varieties of poke that they mix together when you order. I've tried the ginger scallion and the thai curry poke both were yummy! The service is friendly and the fish is fresh not frozen. Competitive pricing and convenient location. Many side options to choose from and both sizes come with 2 sides. There is seating inside or you can take out.

Finally!! A place nearby for my poke bowl fix. It was sad to see Foodland and their poke bowls leave the neighborhood but we got a new kid on the block that took its place. Meet, Mermaid Poke! As soon as you walk in, hang a left and they'll be right there in the first stall. You can't miss it. They offer many styles of poke bowls. I ordered the One choice Spicy Shoyu Bowl with Two side orders, which I picked the Crab Salad and the Taegu. ONO!!! As for the staff, they were friendly. The service was fast. I recommended giving Mermaid Poke a try.

Poke is fresh, locally caught. They cut the fish themselves. Great flavors! Try their pokechos they pretty fire!

Great Spicy Ahi Nachos. Fresh flavors and great service. Nice dinning area and entertainment in the evenings.

Located in Liliha food court. I didn't have high expectations (of the food court in general) but this place is really good and the food court had a nice relaxing atmosphere for a Sunday afternoon. Fast and friendly service, The poke was tasty, quality and amount reflect the price well.

Any of their poke that is spicy, I get. This place is a personal favorite of mine because of the Fireball and Firecracker... spice is life! This is definitely a place that I recommend to people who are going to Oahu for their first time. The ladies who work at this location are a hoot. They're so chill, funny, patient, and hard workers. They let you sample and make sure you get your food. This place sees consistent business, we were there eating our food and always saw customers coming in and coming out. This location isn't really a 'sit-down' place but you can nibble on your poke for a minute before you take off. Inside is small, but clean, and you'll find a picture of Guy Fieri on the wall. The parking is not the easiest so pray for parking before you come :)

I don't think the poke was fresh (in my opinion). I did a uberEats delivery so I don't know if that had anything to do with that. Next time I'll get it at the store to see if the fish is fresher if I get it directly from counter.

They occasionally offer salmon as well! Obviously the dining ambiance is prolly the downside as it's a simple outdoor patio in front of the venue, but hey it does the job! On this latest visit we decided to get the wasabi ahi and the spicy ahi. Both were really good but the wasabi was the one for me. We got the two selection combo, which we shared, but honestly I could've eaten this whole thing on my own no problem. The ahi tasted super fresh and since we got there right when they opened, it was even better. They have a small parking lot with just a handful of spots. Getting there early, parking wasn't a problem at all. They have some tables outside so we were able to eat it there before taking off for the airport. Definitely more of a takeout spot. We didn't spend much time in the area, so it was the last meal we had before taking off to the airport and I couldn't think of a better meal to end an amazing trip. If I was staying nearby, I definitely would've come here more than once!

Large Poke Bowl with Hawaiian and Creamy Sesame Sauce and Large Poke Bowl with Spicy Mayo (4/5): The tuna was the absolute standout and tasted incredibly fresh, pairing beautifully with the mix of Hawaiian and Creamy Sesame sauces that soaked perfectly into the rice. While the spicy mayo bowl offered a solid, comforting option with a great kick, the locally caught blue marlin didn't carry much flavor on its own and relied heavily on the sauce. The shrimp was a great addition for variety. Logistics Tip: Don't let the line intimidate you, as it moves incredibly fast and your food is ready in minutes. I liked that there was a condiment bar at the end to add any toppings you wanted. The fish was fresh and well seasoned, with no fishiness at all. I just wished there was a bit more white onion for crunch, but it was good regardless. The Fish and Chips were really good. The fish was super crispy, the meat was firm, and the fries were nicely fried. The tartar sauce or maybe more of a lemony aioli, was the star. It wasn't your usual tartar sauce; it had a homemade lemony sweetness that made it delicious. My only complaint was that the batter came off the fish pretty easily, which made it a bit tricky to eat at times.

Ours was on the dry/hard side, so I probably wouldn't get that again. Overall, I'd 100% come back for the poke.
