We loved Merryrose Bridal. When I bought my dress it was a bit dirty along the bottom and I didn't think it would be easy to get out. I pointed it out during the first meeting and they made me feel at ease that it would be easy to get it out with the dry cleaning, I didn't have to worry. These two ladies are the kindest most helpful people, I was nervous going into this. I loved my dress and I've never had to get anything altered before. Scheduling was super easy, and I felt very welcome in their home. They made me feel so beautiful and made sure it looked perfect. I didn't even know what to ask for, but they knew exactly what I needed. The bustle was so well done, the buttons hid seamlessly, and the bustle blended in with the dress pattern. I've been waiting for the right words to come to me to describe the mental angst these two women put me through. I was referred to them via my bridal shop, which I have explicitly told they should never do again. These two had me in sitting in my car around the corner from them ugly crying and shaking from pure and utter disbelief that they would treat a client/consumer the way they did me. The 1st time I met them it was at their home. That should have been red flag #1. Mom speaks no English and daughter translates. We spoke in great length regarding the extensive beading, the length, the underlayment. EVERY. SINGLE. THING. They were kind, repeated what I said, we signed a contract for what I now know to be the MOST obscene amount of money for what I needed. (Deposit $400, remaining due $380) They kept trying to sell me their homemade hair pieces which I didn't purchase. Then the daughter seemed irritated by that but no less I left feeling like we had a plan. I went back for a 2nd time, a fitting to just make sure it was going okay and once I had my dress on I kept having to pull it up by the top of the chest (it's strapless) and I mentioned that I didn't think it was taken in enough as it kept falling down. The daughter then accused me of losing weight and said if I continued to do so it would cost me more money. I told her I hadn't lost any weight (Same weight since Nov 2023 tracked) and she needed to either take the sides in more or put something in the back that cinched it a little more. I am incredibly adamant that this is not fitting. She had also pinned a part of the dress that had come a little undone on the chest the 1st time, never made the repair and it was unpinned. So I had to remind her again to PLEASE not forget to get it done and she assured me she would. Look, I know I sound naive and I'm a pretty trusting person and my gut was screaming something isn't right. And clearly I was right,, I had a friend come with me less than a week later for a final fitting because the way the daughter m had treated me at the 2nd fitting I was questioning if I had done the right thing by leaving my dress there. And seriously wanted witness to how this lady treats people. And guess what.. The dress was the exact damn same. Unreal. The daughter then has the audacity to say to me I never told her the sides weren't taken in and that I must have woken up on the wrong side of the bed. I was so calm. I asked her to leave the room so I could take my dress off, change, and leave. She did. But when she returned, she returned irate and screaming in my face. She threw the cash deposit in my face, said she was going to call the cops on me (FOR WHAT I HAVE ZERO IDEA) I never even did anything. I told her to please call them. I would be happy to wait. She forced me to sign some paper she drafted in 5 seconds that said I won't do business with them or something?? Legitimately pushed my friend out of her house, telling us to get out. Thank goodness. I couldn't wait to leave with my dress. I was physically shaking from her screaming at me. Please tell me you have it camera, when you were screaming in my face telling me you didn't butcher my dress by cutting the underlayment completely out and tacking it to the inside of the butt and not completing ANY side alterations (the next place took over an inch on both sides), nor did you fix the front that you pinned twice. That was my fault right? You made the weeks leading up to my wedding the absolute WORST. This dress was everything and you made it a nightmare that someone else had to fix. Steer clear. These ladies aggressively respond to every low review as seen here on yelp. Never take responsibility for their actions. Definitely not the proper way to treat clients or keep them. read more

Had the most amazing experience! They are so sweet, kind, and extremely talented. My wedding dress has gorgeous lace detail at the bottom and I needed my dress hemmed. Not many people would be able to hem it and have it look exactly the same without messing up the lace detail. This dress was the 3rd one I tried on and I fell in love. Reluctantly I left it behind to go to my next bridal appointment. Merryrose Bridal is an exceptional place. My friend got her dress completely reconstructed here several years ago. When I went with her I was struck by how friendly the women who run it are and how talented they are in their craftsmanship. When I needed to get my own wedding dress tailored, I knew this is where I had to go. The women treated me like family and completely built my wedding look. They completely fixed all of the weird pulling that my David's Bridal dress had and beautifully fitted my high neck. They then built a GORGEOUS jacket that I will cherish forever so that I wouldn't be cold in my January wedding. They also designed a cathedral train with crystals lining the edge of the veil that sparkled like nothing else. Finally they created a star crystal design that fit my celestial theme perfectly. Additionally they were flexible with my schedule and had great availability to come in. Avoid at all costs. Tailor (if you call her that) is incompetent, unprofessional, and rude. She had my wedding dress over a month from 7/2/2024 to 8/10/2024 to adjust the hem, add bustles, and remove bra cups for $350. Given I wanted to see how the dress would look without the bra cups and with a corset underneath, we agreed that I would come in to try the corset during the time she has the dress given my wedding was on 8/24/2024. So I wanted to see how the corset would look like with the dress. After she got the dress from me and I paid her a deposit of $100, she disagreed that I come in and said I can only try the dress when I pick up on 8/10/2024. I said fine. Then I arrive on 8/10/2024 and notice right away that the bra cups were not removed so I asked her mom why this is the case. Her mom, who is a nice lady but does not speak English, tells me to wait until her daughter arrives to explain the situation. Her daughter arrives later and comes in and complains that I blocked her driveway. This is her greeting to me, her customer. My car was in the driveway but did not block her car given her car was also parked next to mine. Plus I had no idea that the tailor was not at her house (where she runs her business) when she was supposed to meet me there for my 5 PM appointment on 8/10. Moreover, if she has such an issue with parking, then she should have a professional business area to do her business rather than her house and inform her clients where to park. After her rude parking related greeting, I ask her why the bra cups where not removed and why she had not told me about it before if she could not. She said that she could not remove it and that I should pay her. She did not walk me through her other adjustments like the hem or the bustle. She said to pay her $350 and I told her absolutely not. The service was for 3 items and she did not perform one of the items. So she said fine pay me $200, given I had a deposit of $100 already. I paid her $200 and left. Later I contacted Luv Bridal, Phoenix and explained the situation given they recommend me this tailor. They apologized and fixed the dress in 1 day with their in-house tailor for free. Their tailor discussed that the hem was done poorly and that only 1 bustle was added on a dress that required 5 given the dress was heavy and had a long train. Needless to say it was a mistake ever hiring Merryrose but it all worked out great at the end given that sweet tailor Diana Noris from Luv Bridal, Phoenix went above and beyond to get my dress to be perfect for my wedding day. read more

I believe it was the owner who greeted us warmly and ensured confidence in my wife that she can remove all stains and rips that occurred after a day filled with memories during our wedding. Not only did the two women help me find a dress that I felt confident and sexy in, they also stayed an hour past closing to alter my dress the same night. I have had my two wedding dresses altered by Merryrose Bridal. They have done an amazing job so far! I am almost to the end of the alterations and so far so good! They have a location in Chandler where I go for fittings but they also work with Lillian Lottie and will come there as a lot of my accessories were shipped there. In addition, they have a lot of experience so they recommend certain alterations that they feel look best on me.
