My burger was good, kind of your backyard style burger with a decent size patty. Comes with cheese, grilled onions, tomato and some 1000 Island dressing. The burger was cooked perfectly. My wife said hers could have used more burger sauce, but still good. The fries were fine, not the best not the worst. The people working on the truck were friendly, the prices were a bit pricey but kind of expected nowadays. All in all, if I were out and saw the truck again I would definitely order a burger. read more

Staff running the truck at Bottle Logic were the most endearing of folks. I had asked for an offering I had seen posted on their site, though realized upon asking it wasn't listed amongst their offerings for the day. We found this food truck at the 35th Diamond Bar Birthday Bash. And more times that not, I'm usually disappointed with food trucks considering their higher prices. However, I have to say that Messi Burgers didn't disappoint. They are still priced on the higher side when you compare them to a brick and mortar joint, but their burgers are really good and you get a lot for the price. The cheeseburger was $14 and it was an additional $3 for fries. That's pretty steep for a burger and fries in general, but most food trucks are priced higher for some reason. This review is based just on their Sweet Heat wings. These wings are fire!! I look forward to when they come to my apartment community, which is not much sadly. They charge $12 for 6 wings which isn't too bad. I love how crispy the skin is and how tender the meat is. They sure have a lot to live up to by naming themselves after a living legend of soccer. I think they may have kept up part of their end of the bargain. Ok, maybe they didn't mean it that way, but that's sure what I think of when I see the name Messi Burger. They're a food truck in Orange County that sometimes makes appearances at Bottle Logic Brewing, which is where I encountered them. Well, more accurately, my friend bought stuff from them and brought it to the table, and I wasn't about to ask for the dollar amount from anyone, but I do see some info from a recent reviewer that suggests that they're not too exorbitantly priced. Messi Burger w/ ground beef: lettuce, tomato, grilled onion, American cheese. Oh, and he definitely went with the 3 toppings for +$3 and added bacon, fried egg, and mushroom. Aside from the lack of pink color in the meat, this is a lot of goodness to enjoy. The mushroom alone was delicious. There was some small resemblance to In-N-Out (in a good way) in the base materials and sauce. Order the burger and don't regret it. Fries: relatively crispy, totally lacking in salt, still pretty solid with ketchup. For the sake of comparison to something everybody should know, a little thicker than In-N-Out fries, and definitely more crispy. (Chicken) Wings w/ Memphis BBQ: crispy, drenched in a BBQ sauce that is significantly different from what I usually find in BBQ wings, and marinated enough for a proper salt level all the way through the meat. It's more of an A tier than S tier wing, but anyone but a true wing snob will enjoy it. Aside from not adding any salt to their fries, Messi Burgers are a very solid food truck option. If you find them near a brewery or other gathering, don't shy away from them. read more

Welp ... after ordering two overpriced meals at Cypress College on July 2nd (firework show) we were told the wait would be 45 min. After two hours of waiting the food still isn't done, a crowd is starting to grow waiting for their orders. Completely overwhelmed, they start giving people incomplete orders ... literally every customer had to correct them. They start arguing with customers and try to convince them to wait for their food, instead of a refund. I was "next" for about 20 min before I gave up with the fireworks starting. My food is all of a sudden "ready" ... nope. Incomplete order and still working on the last item. Got my money back and paid less for better looking food elsewhere after the show. I get it ... you weren't prepared for the amount of customers. 1 star for being rude, 1 star for continuing to take customers who for sure didn't get their food and 1 star for order accuracy. Sort of funny - I was at Trademark Brewing two weekends in a row (2 and 3 weeks ago), and both times, the rotating food truck happened to be selling burgers as its main focus. Trademark has probably the best micheladas on the planet, and good micheladas pair *perfectly* with good burgers, so I wasn't complaining! Of the two burgers trucks, this was definitely my favorite. The menu only lists prices for a burger with fries and a drink, but I didn't really need fries or a drink, when the burger's already massive and I was also drinking multiple beers, so I confirmed, they *do* let you buy just a burger if you ask ($9 for just a burger, or $3/4 for 3 or 4 toppings). They have a *ton* of toppings, and while it does seem a little weird to charge a dollar for barbeque sauce, all the other toppings make total sense to charge for. Anyway, it was a hard choice, but I got a monster burger ($13 with 4 extra toppings), with cheese, lettuce, mayo, mustard, ketchup, cheese, bacon, peppers, egg, and onion rings. It was in my hands about 20 minutes later, and I can confirm: totally worth $13 (especially paired with such a great michelada). Was a perfectly cooked, juicy, giant burger, all the toppings were executed perfectly - only real complaint (other than it would've been better with bbq sauce) is... the name is accurate. We were second in line and waiting on our food. The third person told the cashier that he was in a rush to catch an Uber and wanted his food in 5 minutes. I ordered Half plain chicken wings and half sweet and spicy wings.
