The food is good. The service, not so much. Wish there more to add but this pretty much sums up my experience.

Simply put. Fantastic! A mini chain in Augusta that is actually worth visiting repeatedly! The kitchen staff is amazing and entertaining.

The food here was quite delish! I had the breakfast pie and grits and my husband had the corn beef hash with poached eggs and toast. Our server, Sherri, was so sweet and friendly, like she already knew us. We didn't try the chicken and waffles but they seem to be their best seller. They looked really good too but I don't eat chicken so... The place was super busy on a Saturday afternoon but the service was quick and friendly. We willl definitely come back the next time we are in Agusta! read more

I can't even begin to say how great this place is! The menu is phenomenal and I love having all of the breakfast and lunch options. My husband does not get excited to go out and eat, like I do, but he actually loves going to Metro Diner. My favorite is the corned beef hash and additional g hollandaise sauce and he loves the chicken pot pie. You can't go wrong going to this place! I'm honestly considering applying to work there after meeting some of the best wait staff I have ever met! Keep it up Metro! read more

I went here with friends who were raving about the place. It was a Sunday morning so we had a bit of a wait but it wasn't too bad. They had flavored iced tea and coffee which was nice to see as options. I had a pancakes and a western omelet. Both were pretty good for what they were. If I have another opportunity to eat here I'll try something more adventurous like the chick and waffles my friends loved. read more

Come here on your cheat day. Don't order your meal right away... sit at the counter and watch the cooks for a few minutes before making your choice. You'll see endless plates of amazing creations that will make you second-guess even using the menu to pick your meal. The chef runs her kitchen like general on a battlefield, calling out orders and making sure the cooks are all in sync. Barbara, our server, was great and extremely attentive, too. Great diner! I got the more traditional breakfast (2 eggs, hashbrowns, sausage, and 2 pancakes (I actually lopped off a star since I just realized that I was supposed to get some english muffins but they never appeared at my table)). Definitely solid food and if I had the chance I would explore the menu more. read more

I love this place especially the fish and chips. I would recommend trying them if you have not yet. The staff is amazing as well.
