Although we were visitors at the time, the Metro Diner was a great breakfast spot. The food was always fresh and delicious. Our waitress Tonya was phenomenal, she even remembered us the next day (impressive after all those people, hours and tables). She was also knowledgeable about all the daily specials and her recommendations were good. There is a breakfast crowd but the staff efficient in getting the people and food to the tables.

There is lots of parking in front of the restaurant as it is in a shared plaza. There wasn't a wait for a table which was nice. It has some cute decor and while it has a diner feel, it's not a greasy diner. The service was good and efficient. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that they had gluten free toast as I didn't see it on the menu. I got a side of hollandaise sauce and it was really good. Overall I think it was a good choice, it did take quite a while for our food to come out which was one of the downsides

Enjoyed a delicious breakfast this morning. Greeted and seated quickly. Server was fantastic and attentive. Clean and busy place. Ordered the Bissell Breakfast. Two eggs any style, 3-Turkey Sausages, toast, fruit cup and a short stack of pancakes. Delicious! Tasty! Coffee was excellent! We will return!

Meatloaf. I had gravy on the side and salad.

I went to this location for the first time, and I really enjoyed it. The service was quick it was clean. The waitress was super friendly I like you can see in the kitchen and see them making the food fresh. I got the meatloaf and this is the only place in town besides my mom's house that I will eat meatloaf it's not traditional it doesn't have ketchup, so I really enjoyed it. It has gravy and it's rich And more than enough food for two people. I got a side salad as one of my size for $1.50 more and it was a wonderful salad. It really stood out and then I was able to get coleslaw instead of mashed potatoes because I was trying to be low carb and oh my gosh some of the best coleslaw I've had. The salad dressing, I believe was also made from scratch, really good ranch. They have breakfast all day and there are multiple things on that menu that I really want to try so I will be back.

I absolutely love coming here, but I must admit, Tonya is the main reason my family and I keep returning. My family and I frequent the Metro Diner at Tulsa hills at minimum once a month and we always ask for Tonya- and we would gladly wait for her. I'm sure other servers here are wonderful too but Tonya is consistently amazing. Honestly I'm not sure why it has taken me so long to write a review. When we come, we order big and Tonya gets it every time. I usually get the chicken and waffles with added side eggs and home fries. Their home fries are soooooo delicious. Their fried chicken is incredibly juicy with incredible, crispy skin. Not to mention, they always have amazing flavored coffees and teas of the day. My sister and I always opt for both. Today as I'm writing this review we got the cinnamon crumble coffee and a sweet peach tea. Their peach tea is so delicious. Tonya talked us into trying their dinner service which we did. We got just about one of everything. Very delicious. My family and I do really love coming for breakfast or brunch. Today we tried something new and had their club sandwich and fried chicken sandwich. Both were so good but that fried chicken sandwich was out of this world. Delicious fries, amazing onion rings and very good ranch. So so good. My mouth is watering as I write this Anyways, a very very good family spot to go to. And I urge you to try Tonya's service . She's simply amazing.

The Tulsa Hills location is close by, and I was delighted to see that they had Fish and Chips as a menu item. The first 3 times I ate there, that's the item I ordered. The portion was generous. The fish always had a crunchy but not greasy beer batter. The seasoned fries and cole slaw were good. This time I ordered the Shrimp and Grits, because I love grits and wanted to try their version. I ordered it without the bacon, as you can see by the receipt. However, when I got home, the bacon was there. It didn't detract from the dish tho'. It was delicious and satisfying. The Lemon Blueberry Bread Pudding was absolutely fantastic! I took 1 star away because they added the bacon when I had ordered it without bacon and they are not a dog friendly place.

This place is one of my favorites in Tulsa. I have never had a bad experience here and it has the best chicken n waffles I've had anywhere hands down. The service is always great, and prices are even better!

There's plenty of parking for this retro dinner in the middle of all the shopping at Tulsa Hills. If you have to wait to be seated, there is a nice front patio to sit on and people watch. Once inside there are lots of booths and tables as well as a bar. There are signs saying that this is where the locals eat and I believe it because the food is tasty and the service is friendly. Also mimosas!

It's been years since I've eaten at Metro Diner so while at Tulsa Hills shopping I decided to come in for lunch. I was not disappointed! I decided on breakfast for lunch and ordered a Western omelette, hash browns and toast. It was absolutely delicious! The omelette was chockful of veggies and ham. Hash browns nice and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Hazelnut coffee was fresh. Service was prompt and very accommodating. I'll be back!!

Delish! After a day filled with restaurant disappointments, this was just what we needed. They served us quickly and efficiently. All servers were kind and attentive. Food was served quick and hot. Wish we weren't just in town for a day or else we'd come here more often!

Friday special Fish & Chips. Was delicious!

I enjoyed the Friday special (fish and chips) that comes with two sides and a salad. All for $12.99!!Salad was really fresh and delicious as all of it was. Our server was courteous, polite and knowledgeable, Thank You Izabella! Will be returning! Go Metro!!

I decided to pack on the carbos with a short stack of pancakes topped with caramel sauce, bananas, and walnuts. Wow, they call this a short stack! I am quite certain I could never eat a tall stack! My wife ordered the breakfast tacos, which looked quite small compared to my pancakes, but she loved the flavor--a nice mix of scrambled eggs, avocado, and cajito cheese! More coffee! We rolled out of the place very satisfied and pleased with the service, ambience, and food! We highly recommend the Dilly diner!

We went on a Thursday afternoon at 4:00, so we didn't expect it to be busy. There were a few people there but not a bunch. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and shown to a booth. Our waitress brought our menus and silverware right behind the hostess. She asked if we knew what we wanted to drink and I ordered Decaf Coffee. My wife deferred to later once she knew what she was going to eat. The coffee arrived a few minutes later and I placed my order for the Belgian Waffle, 2 eggs scrambled, Hash Browns, and 2 Sausage Links. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict and a side of biscuits and gravy and regular coffee. First before I forget, I am somewhat of a portly fellow. I carry about 70 pounds more than my doctor likes, and it's all right above my belt. Remember that the hostess put us in a booth, which usually is a challenge for me, because of my extra tire that I carry. But I was pleasantly surprised that this booth was spacious. It had plenty of room for us extra large folks without trying to move the table. The coffee, was good. Remember that I drink decaf coffee, so when I say it was good, thats saying a lot. I even asked the waitress if she had forgotten and brought me regular coffee and she assured me it was decaf. When the food arrived, I was so impressed by how good it looked, I forgot to take a photo, so the attached photo shows what was left when I was full. The waffle was the main thing I was after. I love waffles, and it's hard to find a good waffle. The menu claims they are Belgian Waffles, and I cannot disagree. They tasted like the Belgian Waffles I had in Paris, so I believe they are. The has browns normally don't rate a mention, but these hash browns were soft and not crunchy, and tasted like I expected hash browns to taste, from the first bite to the last. The eggs were scrambled well, which I would have preferred loose, but that's my fault for not specifying. I also ordered link sausage which was cooked as it should be. Next time I'll order bacon. The reason I avoided the bacon is that most places either burn it or leave it partially raw. Based on how the rest of my meal was cooked, I expect the bacon will be cooked right. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.
