I recently visited Metro Diner in Tulsa and had a pleasant experience with the service and atmosphere. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The restaurant was also very clean, which is always a plus. As for the food, it was a bit of a mixed experience. I ordered fish and chips with coleslaw and broccoli soup. Unfortunately, the fish was disappointing--lacking in flavor and not very enjoyable. The fries were just okay, nothing special. The broccoli soup was so thick that it didn't even drip, which was a little off-putting. My granddaughter had pancakes, bacon, and eggs. The pancakes were delicious, but the eggs were scrambled too hard, and the bacon tasted like it was pre-cooked. My other granddaughter had a cheeseburger and fries. The cheeseburger was plain, overcooked, and lacked seasoning. Overall, while the service and cleanliness were excellent, the food quality could definitely be improved. I'd love to see some changes in seasoning, preparation, and freshness. If they can get the food to match the level of their service, Metro Diner could be a great spot. read more

The gravy was plentiful and was wonderful. We probably won't be coming back due to the fact that the no longer serve Diet Pepsi. That one of the must haves for my wife.
