First timers!! We had a great lunch! Z was a very nice server, very friendly and always checked on us. I had pancakes and eggs and ham breakfast. It was very good. The ham tasted better than most places. Tested like a honey ham from Christmas. Like homemade and fresh. Eggs were cooked perfectly the way I asked for them. Everything was great. My guest had a juicy big cheeseburger! Overall great experience.

    A piece of glass

The food here has always been tasty with very large portions -- enough to bring home leftovers. Unfortunately, on my most recent visit, I found a piece of glass in my food. At first, I thought it was a pebble, but it turned out to be glass. This was not only disappointing but also unsafe. While I've had many good meals here in the past, this experience makes me question the kitchen's safety standards.

We popped in after church on a whim. Every time we drive by, the place is hopping, so we've been curious for a while. The place was busy, but we found a table without issue. It's a standard diner interior- very casual and comfortable- sort of fast paced. All 4 of us had breakfast. I had a waffle with eggs, bacon, and potatoes. My husband had a skillet with potatoes, eggs, and chicken fried steak and a biscuit with gravy. It was tons of food, and 2lwe both left with enough to feed us each and entire second meal. Our oldest got a waffle with sausage, and our youngest had the kids pancakes with eggs and sausage. Again, it was a good amount of food, and no one left hungry. The 4 of us ate for about $45 before tip. All of the food was warm and delicious.

Absolutely impressed with MFD!! Came for our first time to have breakfast and it was OUTSTANDING! My meat lover's skillet was enough to feed me three times over No Joking. I had a so much I took some home and shared with my husband Lol he cleared his plate and so did our son lol Service was great and the food came out so quickly I was surprised. The place was crowded but we were able to sit right down without any waiting. Nice family atmosphere and plenty friendly faces. We gave our compliments and promised to return soon.

Mom's family dinner had delicious food and service. The chicken fired steak is huge. Everything tasted wonderful. There were no complaints from anyone in our party. I'd definitely go back.

Mom's Deluxe pancake and egg breakfast

I was looking for a place to relax and kill about 1.5 hours while having lunch. To my surprise, Mom's was close by and does breakfast all day. Additionally, they have a pancake and egg combo that caught my eye. It also came with sausage and hash browns which I ordered crispy. I was not disappointed with the food. Eggs over medium...what can you say. These had the runny yolk and perfectly done whites I desired. The pancakes were large, fluffy and filled a second plate. They could have been hotter since my butter did not melt quickly. Still they tasted good. The hash brown were done well with a generous portion. The ambiance is diner with booths and tables. The only area I found lacking was follow-up from the server. My coffee was only refilled once despite the cup sitting on the table edge. So, 5 stars for the food. I would go back. But, I would aggressively encourage the server to not let my coffee grow cold much less be depleted.

Outside is nothing special but parking lot is full

You might pass this place due to location and appearance and it would be a mistake. First sign is the full parking lot. I can only evaluate breakfast and it was great. Eggs, hash browns and a chicken fired steak that will put many places dinner steak to shame. Offered a single pancake which is a great option. I left very happy and didn't want to eat for the rest of the day!!!!

I am so happy that I stopped here! I ordered t he Philly cheese steak and onion rings. I am from Philly so I am a tough critic. I loved it! Very tasty. The onion rings were very good. The real deal My server Haley was very friendly and efficient. I appreciated her attention happy demeanor, it's been a rough day and she made it better Could be cause she's also from Philly I am a happy customer (Should have taken a pic when I first got my meal )

    Catfish dinner

I called to make a togo order. Come to pick up my order and go back to work. I ordered the catfish dinner and used the drop box menu to check prices. It said it was $9.99. Upon arrival i am charged $17.34. For ONE piece of undercook and under seasoned catfish. I did get a loaded baked potato that added $2 to my total. When i called back after picking up my food i spoke to Abraham the manager, to express how unhappy i am about the price and amount of food I received. He informed me that the total on the menu was not right and i was charged $12.99 for my ONE piece of catfish and three hushpuppies. Now my whole lunch break has been wasted for subpar overpriced food. Abraham offered no solution to appease my frustration. I used to enjoy eating at Moms dinner with family on sundays. We will be finding a new breakfast joint to eat at from here on out. I will add that the front lady who took my card was nice. 1/5 stars. Will never be back.

Turns out that the night before we ate at McNellie's, which is a part of the restaurant chain that owns the diner. Our server at McNellie's was terrific and they knew her. We were seated promptly with a nice view of the door. We started our breakfast with coffee, which was strong and very good. I decided to pack on the carbos with a short stack of pancakes topped with caramel sauce, bananas, and walnuts. Wow, they call this a short stack! I am quite certain I could never eat a tall stack! My wife ordered the breakfast tacos, which looked quite small compared to my pancakes, but she loved the flavor--a nice mix of scrambled eggs, avocado, and cajito cheese! More coffee! We rolled out of the place very satisfied and pleased with the service, ambience, and food! We highly recommend the Dilly diner!

We went on a Thursday afternoon at 4:00, so we didn't expect it to be busy. There were a few people there but not a bunch. We were promptly greeted by the hostess and shown to a booth. Our waitress brought our menus and silverware right behind the hostess. She asked if we knew what we wanted to drink and I ordered Decaf Coffee. My wife deferred to later once she knew what she was going to eat. The coffee arrived a few minutes later and I placed my order for the Belgian Waffle, 2 eggs scrambled, Hash Browns, and 2 Sausage Links. My wife ordered the Eggs Benedict and a side of biscuits and gravy and regular coffee. First before I forget, I am somewhat of a portly fellow. I carry about 70 pounds more than my doctor likes, and it's all right above my belt. Remember that the hostess put us in a booth, which usually is a challenge for me, because of my extra tire that I carry. But I was pleasantly surprised that this booth was spacious. It had plenty of room for us extra large folks without trying to move the table. The coffee, was good. Remember that I drink decaf coffee, so when I say it was good, thats saying a lot. I even asked the waitress if she had forgotten and brought me regular coffee and she assured me it was decaf. When the food arrived, I was so impressed by how good it looked, I forgot to take a photo, so the attached photo shows what was left when I was full. The waffle was the main thing I was after. I love waffles, and it's hard to find a good waffle. The menu claims they are Belgian Waffles, and I cannot disagree. They tasted like the Belgian Waffles I had in Paris, so I believe they are. The has browns normally don't rate a mention, but these hash browns were soft and not crunchy, and tasted like I expected hash browns to taste, from the first bite to the last. The eggs were scrambled well, which I would have preferred loose, but that's my fault for not specifying. I also ordered link sausage which was cooked as it should be. Next time I'll order bacon. The reason I avoided the bacon is that most places either burn it or leave it partially raw. Based on how the rest of my meal was cooked, I expect the bacon will be cooked right. I'm looking forward to my next visit already.

The food options seemed endless and the menu was quite large and included breakfast to dinner items all day when they are open! I also noted milkshakes and rootbeer floats and the like - plus a display of cakes and pies for sale! I settled on breakfast with banana, strawberry Nutella crepes and scrambled eggs with bacon. The wife did the same. The food was excellent served like an old fashioned diner style setting and I started my breakfast with an appetizer slice of pecan pie. The kids each got a milkshake with hamburger for one and Mac n' cheese for the other. The server was friendly and helpful and her name was Rachel. She did a great job and we enjoyed dining with her as our server!
