The pizza tasted great but the dough was tough and difficult to get through. We also got the garlic knots, and half of them were raw in the middle. We ordered pickup and it took over an hour for one large pizza and the garlic knots. 5/10 read more

I placed a $100 prepaid order. When I arrived to pick up the order, counter staff told me they gave my order away to someone else. Staff did not seem concerned at all with their mistake. So someone else got $100 of free food. I was told to come back later while they remade my order so my family's dinner was an hour late & staff didn't seem to care. read more

I really hate leaving reviews like this, considering that Metro Pizza is one of my favorite Las Vegas Pizza joints that I've been going to since I moved here in 1987. But here's the reason for my review. I've ordered many of a Stuffed Pizza in my time. They've always come out beautifully. Well, you can imagine why I'd be surprised when received this pizza tonight. When ordering, I mentioned to the lady taking my order that last month, I ordered the same pizza and to my surprise, that I opened the box and it resembled a thin new York style pizza. Not the Stockyard that I've loved for years. She assured me that she would have a manager "watch" the people making the pizza because they have new pizza makers working and training. Ok, so I ordered and waited 30 mins. Had my husband my pick up the order. He didn't check it and we were in a rush. When I got to my destination across town we opened it up to find out how thinner it was than the last time. Look Metro. If you're going to give me a pizza like this, I expect to pay $10. Not $30+ I'd rather go elsewhere. This is the last time you will screw me out of $70+ ( that's a combination of both visits). Talk about highly disappointed. I can understand trying to save costs, but don't lose customers over pinching pennies. I doubt that I really want to return after treatment like this. read more

I called to place an order for pick up and was greeted by "Are you the lady that called about the chicken salad?" I responded with no and was told to hold on and placed on hold. Called back in hope somebody else would answer the phone to speak to supervisor but line was on hold for a while. I've been to this Metro pizza a few times and pretty disappointed in today's rude lady on the pick up line. read more

We went here on Friday night and I was very much not wanting too many calories but I knew my bf has been absolutely DYING to try this place since we moved here. We've tried grimaldi's but we heard this place was way better and the people arent jerks so that's a plus. We went for the Gotham b/c my bf is a true believer that the more toppings = the best pizza you ever made. We got the gotham minus onions of course for me - and ordered the small since we had also ordered an appetiz. the garlic fries which my fellow yelpers raved about and i'm a huge fan of the gilroy pearl myself. 1st the app - the fries were really good but not to die for like if I went again i'd have to have them... they were kinda hard. and i was expecting soft fries w/ that flavor that just enhances the taste. Again good b/c that means I didnt have too many! 2nd the PIZZA - it was really good. I'd def. order that again. Someone next to us ordered like 2 pizzas and had maybe 1 slice per person so they had tons of leftovers and then ordered all kinds of desserts. wedidnt even go there w/ the deserts. we took our left overs from our small pizza and had the rest for brkfast. The 2 slices i had were super filling b/c of all the toppings. I'd def. go back to this place. I think this is my bf new fav pizza place. read more

Great service and food, they are doing in dinning seating. We had Gotham and Metro both were excellent! Hot bread and Salad also good.

So sad to say, but they now have the slowest service, even during the week for a to go order. Although my order is faster than the orders that are being picked up by places like Chow Now, those people were waiting almost a hour! I would highly recommend you come and eat here in the dining room. I would not recommend ordering to go. :-/ read more

Came here for dinner on a Thursday night. When we arrived, it wasn't busy at all. This is a decent pizza place to take your family. Nothing too special. The staff were super friendly and accommodating, but I'm rating a 3/5 because the service is always slooow when we eat here. Again, it was not busy when we came. There were 3 of us eating. Took about 15 min for the waiter to come to our table to get our drink order. By that time we were ready to order food, but the waiter insisted on getting the drinks first. Waited about 10 min or so for him to come back. I'd say it took an hour from the time we were seated to get our food. We're usually pretty understanding about service taking time when a place is packed. Didn't give the waiter a hard time or anything like that, but was just disappointed that everything always takes so long when we come here. I would not recommend going here if you have plans to be somewhere afterwards. read more

Best. Happy. Hour. That pretty much sums it up. From 5-7 this restaurant has great selection of beers and appetizers for happy hour. I visited with a friend and sat at the bar area. Our waitress was very attentive and friendly. We really enjoyed the service received here! As an appetizer I ordered the fried mozzarella (a must!), hot wings (it comes with 5) and their pizza. Everything was delicious and it came promptly! The place does get busy so there might be a short wait time when you get there. I defended think it is worth the wait. I stopped in yesterday for a late lunch. I have become addicted to the chopped chicken salad and their fresh toasted sourdough bread which is served nice and warm to your table. The place was packed with several large groups but even though the wait staff was pushed to their limits, they picked up each other and brought out the food on time and in great spirits. The portions are huge and even though I was very hungry I could only finish half my meal and got the rest to go. Metro Pizza has been in the valley for over 25 years and it is heartwarming to see a family business thrive. Thanks Metro Pizza for becoming a Las Vegas Landmark that we can be proud of. read more

Don't get me wrong! The food is wonderful but....Do not ever try to use Door Dash it is the second worst experience you will ever have at Metro. The worst experience is to call them to place an order. You will undoubtedly get an adolescent teenage girl who will leave you on hold for 10 minutes, treat you like you are a door mat and not take your order correctly when she does answer the phone. From out of town and visiting for the holidays with my family and we checked the reviews. I know sometimes it's a gamble when you order take out. We ordered 3 pizzas, one GF. GF was not very good, and that is unfortunately more often the case. Hard to find a good GF pizza. Our other pizzas we're good. Crust was crispy and both had generous toppings. We also ordered a ranch chicken salad (all iceberg), garlic fries (good flavor and generous size) and below our $12 calamari (photo is exactly what we opened up). Great service but I didn't like the pizza the taste wasn't bad but it wasn't great either ....it was meh :/ and it was very greasy . The wings were good and the house salad was yummo .I had the chicken parmesan ( my hubby had a small pizza ) my meal was not bad ( portions are big by the way ) but I was so full from all the other food , I hardly ate it . Our server was nice and even gave my baby girl a free ice cream :) again service was great it was the pizza I didn't love but maybe you will , so give it a whirl ! My husband and I took our two kids here tonight and were seated in a booth close to the bar. Food was excellent and came out very quick. Our waitress was busy and would bring something to the table and leave again before we had a second to ask for anything else we needed. The young man, Travis, however was absolutely phenomenal and was clearing our dishes and bringing us everything we needed without hesitation. Whatever he's being paid, it's not enough. That place would be in shambles without him tonight. read more

Metro was strongly suggested by neighbors so we wanted to try it. Attempted several times to call in orders other days got put on hold for extensive periods today Saturday at lunch we ordered a couple of calzones and a pepperoni pizza. Went to pick it up and the individual manning the takeout was surly and non-responsive. Phones are ringing off the hook and she was overwhelmed. Eventually got our order and took it home and the food was actually pretty good but not as good as Pizza rock. Just would not go back based on their inability to manage the phones and a simple take out process. Improvements necessary. This has actually been our first negative customer service experience in Henderson since we moved here several months ago. read more

By far the best pizza we've had since moving to Henderson! The crust is delicious, holds strong with toppings and they offer different styles; I.e. east coast, Chicago style and double. The toppings are plentiful and fresh tasting! We will fo sho be returning often. Pricing is a bit high, considering pizza is pretty inexpensive to make; but for the high quality we are willing to pay it! Service has always been great and seems like everyone is hustling pretty hard considering the crowds they get just flocking for good pizza!! Looking forward to exploring the menu further. Also, I've been to two locations so far and they are consistently good just as an FYI. Go here people!!! I came here again yesterday ( thursday) for dinner.We got nuclear fries,and a 16 inch pizza.Half cheese and ricotta cheese,half sausage mushrooms.First came out the bread,then the fries,then the pizza.It came out faster then it did last time,wich was nice. nuclear fries-They were defently spicy,the ranch dressing went well with them Pizza-My half was the ricotta cheese and normal cheese.Ok I wanted to get the ricotta becuase i seen a review where someone got it.THey were defently right! Today I had the Steinbrenner calzone! As always, perfectly cooked and delicious. The servers in this place are quick and friendly. Holly is my fav, always having a joke or a story to share. My other go to dish is the chopped chicken salad. Their house dressing is the bomb. And don't pass on that bread, it's made fresh daily in house, and served warm. 2 times for dinner! We went on December 26th and January 2nd. Both time it was a awful experience. When 2 persons go out to dinner you would think you would eat together. Not a Metro Pizza. One person get served and the second person needs to wait 8 to 10 minutes to get served. Last night we did not even eat. My wife got served and I wait another 8 to 10 minutes. This time I said no. I went up to talk to the manager who was folding silverware and napkins. He seemed clueless to what was going on. Instead of making sure diners were getting served he was folding napkins. Clueless.
