My husband was out of town on business one day recently, so I thought this would be the perfect time to order a thin crust pizza, but with MY favorite toppings, instead of our usual plain cheese. Metro Pizza was pretty close, and I had picked up a pizza from them one time before, and enjoyed it, plus they offered both of my favorite toppings, so I decided to place an order from their App directly for delivery. We are only a 5 minute, maximum drive away, so I figured delivery should be reasonably fast and smooth. Boy oh boy, was I wrong! After waiting an exceptionally long time for their assigned delivery window, I ended up waiting an additional 20 minutes for my delivery to arrive! It ended up being very close to one and one half hours of waiting for my food, no exaggeration! I was getting more and more frustrated by the minute, knowing that had I not been in lots of chronic pain from the day, I could've picked up my order and been done eating, long before, "this" delivery arrived. I decided to call them to find out where my order was, when alas, I heard a knock on our door. Finally!!!!!!!!!!!! The female delivery driver, didn't apologize or anything, she just handed me my food and bolted to her car. I had already pre-tipped her on my bill, so why should she care, I guess? My pizza was handed to me cold, with zero warmth left in it! The small mushroom and green olive pie didn't even look appetizing cold, but I spent a fortune on it, so I fired up the toaster over to heat it up. In the meantime, I had also ordered a house salad, so I wanted to dig into to that. To my dismay, my otherwise decent looking salad arrived with store bought croutons loaded on top. A restaurant, that offers various Italian dishes in addition to their pizza, couldn't even bother to easily make their own croutons? I tasted one, and it very closely reminded me of some cheap-o, heavily salted and seasoned croutons I had the misfortune of buying one time, yuch! So now I had to remove all the excessive croutons from my salad before I could even eat that! What an incredible awful journey that evening had turned out to be. Even reheated, my pizza seriously disappointed me. The crust was "off" and it lacked the great flavor from the sauce, that one should expect. It wasn't the worst pizza I've ever eaten, but on a grading scale as ordered, I'd give this pizza a C- /D+ at best. After paying a premium for the olives on my pizza, above what the mushrooms were, to find that they maybe sliced up five or six small olives, tops, for the entire pie, I thought I couldn't get more aggravated. The profit line on a pizza and it's toppings is already extremely high, and they have to get skimpy!!! I don't often write scathing reviews, but people have the right to know ahead of time, what they have to look forward to if they order delivery through Metro Pizza in Henderson Nevada. The answer is nothing! This restaurant is a mid-high priced pizza place that offers a selection of pasta dishes, etc., not a five star fine dining establishment. Though it was a disastrous pizza and salad splurge for me, nobody else should ever receive that kind of lackluster service, and waist their hard earned money as far as I'm concerned. In good conscience, and in spite of knowing the robust business this restaurant often does, if you dine in, I can not recommend it based on that fateful evening I decided to order from them. There are other places in the general vicinity that won't disappoint. Unfortunately for me, very few offer that thin crust or my loved green olive topping I enjoy on occasion. Had this pizza place bookmarked on Yelp per good reviews/word of mouth. Stopped by on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't too busy, I'd say most booths were filled but plenty of tables were available. The inside of the restaurant is fun the design really screams pizza shop. My kids loved it! It smelled delicious inside as well. My family ordered "family style" by splitting a large Dinner Salad between my husband and I. It was a generous serving for the both of us. It was a typical garden salad out of a bag, but it was still tasty none the less. What really jazzed it up was the Ranch dressing. Holy smokes they've got great Ranch! We ordered a basket of fries, plain for my husband and I to share with our children. They were delicious, hot, crispy and perfectly cooked and seasoned. We then all shared a large Abbondanza Pizza(meat lovers: pepperoni, ham, ground beef and sausage). The pizza was huge! We took half of it home. It was delicious, the crust was crispy and flakey cooked to perfection with toasty bubbles all over. The sauce was great too, very simple with a slight sweetness. Toppings were tasty. Obviously this pizza is covered in Pepperoni, Sausage and Ground Beef so it was quite oily because of it. Not enough to bother me. Service was friendly and prompt. Waitress was very kind to us and our children. They had kids placemat menus that they were able to color on. My kids always enjoy when we go to a restaurant that provides them. Next visit I'm hoping to get more adventurous with our order. We had to keep it relatively mild for our young children. I was also intrigued by the different appetizers as well as desserts. When it comes to different types of restaurants, none are more associated with neighborhood gatherings than pizzerias -- all the more so if you have a homegrown one in your area compared to having a chain in the neighborhood! With Las Vegas, there are numerous different local pizzerias in town, each boasting to have the best -- especially so depending on where in town you are! For me, though, one location has been tried and true ever since I first stopped in to its original location on Tropicana and Maryland: Metro Pizza. Now with five different branches in town, Metro is one of my personal favorite places for pizza and has been for the last 10 or so years, ever since I first tried it whenever I was in need of a pick-me-up after a long day in class at UNLV. As the Stephanie location is close to my mother's house, my review will focus on this location. My mother and I came by for dinner and one of the first things I noticed is how packed the restaurant was -- this is very much typical of most Metro Pizza locations, especially if it's the middle of the dinner rush. For our visit, we got our usual favorites -- the Gotham pizza, a house salad, and buffalo wings. ( We has to change our order for dessert for a reason that will be explained later. ) In any case, we started with the house salad and wings, both of which were very delicious -- the salad was fresh and light, and the wings were perfectly crisp on the outside and juicy and tender on the inside. Since Metro Pizza is typically really busy regardless of the time of day you come in it's highly recommended that you get a starter once you order so that way you're not waiting too long! We also got complementary bread fresh out of the oven that we inhaled in a flash. The pizzas take a while to prepare and bake -- but the wait is worth it. Their Gotham pizza is the closest to a supreme pizza, with pepperoni, sausage, ground beef, peppers, onions and mushrooms -- and it was so good. Melted cheese, a crisp yet fluffy crust, plenty of toppings in every bite -- this is our favorite pizza by far in the restaurant! Of course, we ordered the large pizza so we could have some leftovers to take home later. When we got to dessert, we discovered that the menu was revamped and reduced to three items -- and in fact, the entire restaurant menu was updated since we were here last. So some of our favorites overall were no longer on the menu. For dessert, we ended up getting their creme brûlée cheesecake, a New York-style cheesecake topped with a crust of burned sugar and served with caramel drizzle. Though it wasn't our usual to-go order, it was still very good, an indulgent way to end our meal! Metro Pizza has been a staple in town for as long as I can remember -- and I will admit I was originally bummed that some of my favorite items were gone following their menu upgrade. However, my mother and I were still able to enjoy ourselves and discover new favorites in the process, which redeemed it for me. I'd put this pizza somewhere in the middle in that it's decent pizza which will hit the spot. It sucks too as I was very excited having heard nothing but great things about it from another person. I ordered a large pizza that had pepperoni and a few other toppings through their website for pick up. The process was very easy but I was a bit flabbergasted at the $26 price tag for the pizza. I walked in and went to the back area for take out where the woman working informed me it just came out and was being boxed up. She then asked me if I wanted peppers and cheese then gave me a good amount in a small bag. The pizza itself was again, pretty decent with good quality jalapenos and the crust was pretty solid too. But the cheese and sauce were meh. I'd equate them to a dependable FWB that gets the job done but provides no positive emotions or regret after indulging yourself. Although better than dominos, I could a had 4 medium pizzas for that price tag, a Chicago style deep dish, two cauliflower crust pieology pizzas with all the toppings, or a Brooklyns best grandma's special. My family & I have been coming here since we moved from NY 5 1/2 years ago. Our go-to pies are the large 86th Street pie & the Brooklyn Jr. Until recently, they were perfect. However, the last 3 times we ordered either of them, the folks in the kitchen burned the hell out of the crust. I think what they're trying to achieve is a properly baked, crispy crust with slightly dark edges. Not uncommon in NY. Unfortunately, whatever they're doing to achieve the effect isn't working. The first two times this happened, the cashiers apologized and issued a refund (one of them gave us a free dessert as well - not exactly a substitute for a ruined dinner). The third time (Friday, 11/21/22), the cashier explained to me that the crust was supposed to be that way (???!). As transplanted New Yorkers, our biggest food challenge in Vegas has been to find pizza that comes close to what we had back East. Metro Pizza did the trick - until recently. This is my 1st time sitting in the restaurant to eat, but we have ordered from this location to go a few weeks ago. The Server was amazing! She was vey friendly and attentive. Most of the food was fantastic! We had antipasto plater. So yummy! We also had wings, cooked perfectly and nice size wings. They were accommodating by trying to make a pasta dish for my wife, spaghetti with White sauce that was not on the menu. Not very good. My fault for asking for something they don't specialize in. We've tried Metro a couple times and have had mixed results, but I would say they have earned a tentative 4-star from me. I'm sure they have made their way into the pizza rotation, but not exclusively. Pizza at Metro is definitely tasty and indulgent. High quality ingredients and a chewy, blistered crust. They have a lot of other menu items beyond pizza and the restaurant is much more of a full dining experience than most pizza places. Here's what's missing the mark for me; pizza is good overall, but very greasy and the crust has been slightly inconsistent with its bake. I also find offering only two sizes a bit unusual and not very practical. Tried this place about a month ago for the first time - dang, I've been missing out! My friend and I couldn't decide one which pizza we wanted because there were so many options that sounded good -- so we got 2 lol we tried the small Milano (white pizza) and the Stella (gotta ask for it, not listed on the menu and takes a bit longer to make). The Stella was so delicious! The meatballs folded into the crust were so tender and full of flavor. I wasn't much of a fan of the Milano but my friend liked it. Metro Pizza never disappoints! Every time we come to Vegas we eat at a Metro Pizza and this is our 9th time here. Our first experience was at Ellis Island Casino and we fell in love with the pizza. This was our first time eating at this location in Henderson, NV. Our waitress was extremely friendly and service was great. The salads are huge and the large pizza is huge. I LOVE this place. Finally I have found a fantastic pizza place! They don't deliver to my house, but I sincerely don't mind the drive for their pizza and salad. Our go-to is the regular crust with half pepperoni/half Italian sausage. It's amazing. We have also had the Hawaiian, the Metro, the deep dish crust- all of which are delicious- I honestly have never had a bad piece of pizza. This is definitely a go to place when it comes to craving pizza or something in the Italian family food group. There's always a steady clientele here so depending on what night and what time you come, you may have a bit of a wait. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help out and give you recommendations. They have a steady selection of pizzas and pizza related food. Such as calzones and stuffed pizzas. Calzones are a decent size and are enough for one or 2 with a light appetite. I'm a fan of their stuffed pizza. Basically a pizza with crust on the top and bottom. Ingredients are pretty fresh and tasty. Their garlic knots and side salads are also pretty tasty. The knots have some garlic butter their either brushed with or tossed in. Ammmmazing. The fried mozzarella is truly a decadent must have. Fried to golden perfection, crisp and perfect on the outside and perfectly melted and gooey on the inside! Overall the place is pretty solid. I am not normally a fan of Pizza so f I am going to cave in and have Pizza the only place in Vegas is Metro. So we got my hubby his Pizza. This was the worst pizza I have ever ate!!! I tried giving it to my dog, she didn't even eat it. After wasting over $30 on one pizza I had to go to canes and spend more because I was starving. Great service. GREAT Ford. One of the only pizza places with an open dining area. Small pizza was enough for two. Small side salad was delicious with their house dressing. Pizza ordered before 4pm is half price too. read more

Most people have been to metro pizza and most people like it. I think they are a little more on the pricey side but you definitely taste it in the pizza. This is GOOD pizza! The staff is friendly and helpful. We always enjoy it when we eat here. We will be back again for more pizza. read more

I love this place great food and quality. However I believe that business owners need to realize the importance of not charging for sauce on the side. For example ranch, marinara, Buffalo sauce. In times of inflation and high prices like this these places are so obsessed with the Pennie's they are spending for "sauce" instead of the large "dollars" they are getting from "repeat customers" that actually spend money there consistently. This charging for a ranch on the side when you're always spending over a hundred dollars there is very unappealing to me. A restaurant should never charge for a side of ranch. Just my thoughts and opinions. I am welcome to hear others aside from the owners which obviously gonna say something about this. Charge more for your food I'm happy to pay for it. But a side of ranch? "UNCLASSY" box very soggy at pick up and they didn't want to give me a new box. Had to put this in my brand new tundra. And every time I order the baked ziti somehow the salad is missing. How ironic. Third time in a row that happens when it clearly says on the menu the salad comes on the side. Guess that makes 2 bad's on this order. Missing items and soggy pizza boxes. Good luck guys. read more

I have been seeing their pizzas on social media for at least a year but for some reason never made it out to a location. I am SO GLAD I finally did, this was easily the best pizza I've had so far in Vegas. I am not a fan of cheese pizza but this cheese pizza bad a flavor I cant even begin to describe...cheese maybe? But I'm telling you it was great. My zamboni was out of this world, it's not only had incredible flavor but the bread itself was just so fluffy yet crispy. I also had a salad, Domeneca I think it was called, that was SOOOO good. I sent so many text messages while here, letting everyone know THIS is the best pizza in Vegas. read more
