This place has been a place we have been going for years. The service is terrible, the waitress always have an angry face like they don't wanna be there.. They don't come back to offer refills, and when we ask for something they seem to be bothered! We decided to get it to go instead so we don't have to deal with that but now we started missing food items when getting home! The do have live music which is really loud..Sunday 6/28/26 we went to dine in and waited 15 min at our table for a waitress and when she finally came she didn't apologize for the wait time, she had a serious/angry face and said "que quieren tomar" Later when the food came we were so disappointed, the food was BLAND no flavor. The fajita meat had an after taste like old meat, same with the rice no flavor. My husband needed a refill so he literally had to get up and go get it himself because our waitress was hiding somewhere in the back for the longest time.. This bad and unfriendly service has been going on for years and i don't understand why this hasn't been resolved by the owner... food is also a hit or miss i guess depending on who the cook is for the day read more

Not a nice part of town off Gaston, parking is weird, but inside it is clean, attractive decor, and friendly waiters and waitresses. The enchiladas and tacos and chips and salsa are super good! Menu and prices are great! Will return! read more

It's a nice family-owned and run restaurant that has an extensive menu. The service is good, the ambiance is good, and the food is good but nothing extraordinary. We ordered a Filete a La Veracruzana: "Catfish fillet in buttered, tomatoes, onions, and bell peppers, served with crab salad, and rice" & Enchiladas Mexicanas Rojas (Chicken). The Enchiladas Mexicanas Rojas was indicated as spicy (a red pepper beside it on the menu) but it wasn't. It had good flavors but was not as hot as we expected. The Filete a La Veracruzana was an interesting take on the fish but in my opinion, could have been seasoned a bit more. The Crab Salad that came along with the fish was outstanding. Good cosy place with ample private parking but there is one narrow way for both entry and exit which can be an issue. read more

Enchiladas and flautas were both great. Rice and beans are great. Good salsa. Fresh chips. Margaritas are a bit weak and service is friendly but a little slow. Tortillas de maíz recién hechas= excelente Servicio de la mesera= muy bien Pero lo que no está bien aquí es que ellos dan PRIORIDAD a los órdenes para llevar (online) y deja a los que están comiendo adentro del restaurante esperando por la comida. Such a great local spot. The staff here is very nice, and the food is authentic. It's perfect when you want Mexican food for a fair price - no frills. You HAVE to start with the queso. Went with husband to have a late lunch after 26 years.. first time I went it was a great little restaurant. But my husband surprised me by taking me again. To be honest I was excited but we order our food and beverages. They brought us chips and salsa . First of all the salsa was cold. Chips hard. My husband got a coke and I got a pineapple drink . The coke had free refills and the pineapple did not. I would understand if it was fresh home made, but was not more like kool-aid with lots of sugar.. then then we got our food and beans had no flavor, rice had to much garlic. What got me was almost finished my food when I was about to take my last few bites it had a hair. My hair has gold tint because I colored it but this was all black hair . When I notified the waitress all they did was took the plate . But I still paid for everything cause I don't like to make a scene. We wanted to try a Mexican restaurant near White Rock lake and landed on Mexico Lindo. It was a full house with lots of happy people when we walked in which felt like a great sign. However, 3 stars is my vote because of the slow service and uneventful meal/drinks. It started super strong, my mom LOVING the tortilla chips. However, when I approached the hostess for something she wouldn't look at me, responded to me but wouldn't even turn her head while speaking. With our waitress we ordered a sangria and we were served a sangria wine, later asking for ice. It tasted like a typical sangria but it was oddly served. And we split a chicken fajita because we love fajita veggies. But the only veggies we received were onions with the chicken... Lastly, we were done eating for quite some time but saw no sign of our waitress. I Overall lack luster experience. Only reason I'm not giving them 5 stars was because I store at the front for over 10 min after being asked by someone what I needed and told them a seat as the sign in the front entrance reads, wait to be seated. Aside from that it was really good food. I'm from Los Angeles CA so finding real Mexican food and not Tex Mex isn't easy. This place reminded me so much of the spots you can find in LA everywhere. Food came to the table pipping hot and along w chips and salsa they give you a warm hand made flour tortilla w butter. It was fire. For me the food is not good. The quality taste as if everything is frozen or from a can. They don't even have charro beans, only refríed beans, which lets me know it is from a can. I got the queso app and it the cheese tasted of cheap. Reminds me of the old commercials where velvetta compared their product made with a cheese product made of oil. It taste so watered down, terrible. The drinks are good but you can't mess up beer and shots. If your looking for low quality food by all means come here. read more

One star was a little nice. I ordered the Menudo and it smelled gross and tasted disgusting. I eat menudo all the time. I sent it back after one bite and she said I would still be charged for it. Asked if I wanted to order something else. I said no and just had to sit with my friends as they ate. The cashier only charged me for what I ate after I told her I had one taste and sent it back. I came here because I live right across the street and have always seen it here. So we finally decided to try it. It was a Saturday. The place is valet only unless u park in the gated lot next door. They had kareoke. So it was pretty packed. Family friendly. Loud though. My youngest kept covering her ears lol. But next time we won't sit so close and it sound be fine. We sat too close to the front which I think is ok for ppl who sing more. Me n my husband had to tell at each other to hear one another lol... Anywho the food was good. I use to come here all the time, Mexico Linda fajitas were fabulous with hand made corn flour tortillas. I moved away and havent been here in years. The tortillas are not hand made, they are from a bag and are just plain disappointing. I ordered take out and am going to have to go to the store to get tortillas as they are frankly some of the worst I've ever eaten. This is such a sad day :/ Later post, the fajitas meats were so bland. They were cooked nicely but no flavor.. I'm just in shock how bad the restaurant is compared to its former self read more

Not awesome :-( Queso con chile was pretty much solid, with oil. Not creamy at all. Even reheated it was still solid enough we had to cut it with a fork to add to anything. Chips just broke on it. Carne asada was tough and not super flavorful. The rice and beans was the best thing and it was alright. Maybe caught them on an off day, but we probably won't eat there again. read more

Well, I just don't know what to say looking at all these bad reviews. It's not that bad... ...so I'm giving it 5 stars because I think some of these Yelpers have been quite unfair. Now for my experience The food was delicious. Wife got the fish, served nicely with salad and rice. I had the beef casserole, again, quite tasty. My server was friendly - but could of been more attentive. Loved the live musician. Talented and just made the whole experience more enjoyable. We'll be back for sure! read more

Is the food groundbreakingly great? No, but it hits the spot when you're desperate for some Tex-Mex. The margaritas are decently strong, the salsas fairly spicy and the food good. They are open until 1AM on the weekends so it makes for a nice spot to hit up after a show or a late dinner. Fair warning, weekends are karaoke nights so you'll be entertained by guests and their house singer. I think it's fun and worth a visit here and there! I don't agree with the reviews about the staff being rude - all the staff that waited our table and we interacted with were super kind and wearing masks the whole time. They do have a semi-private room for parties and my family has hosted birthdays here before and enjoyed it. read more

Came here a couple weekends ago with family for the karaoke night and I am fiiiiiinally here to leave the review! Which you know means it was either remarkable in a really good or really bad way. Happy to report it was a remarkably great experience! I'd say honestly the best one yet (been here A LOT over the years) and the great service made all the difference (shout out Victoria)!
