Every dish tried at this buffet was delicious and so full of flavor! Even the Chai is top notch. Amazing variety of bite sized starters and entrees along with many savory sides and a dessert selection as well. Don't miss out on the Kheer! Very clean and comfortable. Service is helpful and speedy. Will return!

I've been coming here for years, but in my opinion the quality has not been consistent--particularly when it comes to the chicken they use. Sometimes it's dry and other times it can be mushy. Moreover, the last two times I visited I had stomach issues shortly thereafter, so now I'm questioning whether I should continue to patronize this place given other yummy Indian options around me. They've also raised their prices a bit and are no longer a value (a good deal) compared to the prices of other Indian buffets around. As a result, I tend to go elsewhere because I can usually find places with many more food options for the same price.

WE LOVE Indian food but don't want to go back to the same place again and again. This place was out of our way but it was a good choice that we went. " Wow..Wow..Wow " for the cleanness.. The staffs are working hard to keep the everything so clean at all time. It's an older building but it's so clean inside!!! We really enjoyed the chai tea and chicken corn soup, and beef ect.

One of a million plates of biriyani consumed by my son.

Delicious. Every single thing we ate at the buffet was incredible. But my son??? Absolutely addicted to biriyani. And he ate like three plates worth. Have gotten take out via one of the food delivery apps from here before but the in-person experience surpasses that by a lot. Not just great food for a buffet. Great for any restaurant.

Came with a large group and had a great experience. Greater as we walked in and shown to our table. We enjoyed the all you can eat buffet. They have a large variety of different Indian cuisines. Everything I tried was amazing, some hotter than others but every dish had great flavors.

I got to try a lot of new dishes because this was a buffet style restaurant. A lot of the dishes were delightful and full of spice & flavor. Some of the BBQ meats weren't as piping hot as I'd like them to be unfortunately; they would've tasted a lot better if they were kept warm.

Been craving nihari ever since my friends mentioned it. The nihari here is great and the Haleem isn't bad either. The portions size is your average take out container. THEY DO NOT INCLUDE NAAN- so be sure to order it separately. Even though the have a buffet they make all the take out food fresh. Which is what I expect and was glad to see that. Pro tip: if your grabbing take out look at the specials (see my photo). Really really good deals.

This was probably one of the top 3 best Indian places we've been to since moving to Texas! We came in on a Sunday night and they had a large buffet full of variety of meats and veggies to choose from! I filled up my plate close to three times because the food was so delicious , the biryani is one of the best I've ever had, the meats were cooked perfectly and even our kids ate everything on their plate. I would gladly drive the 40 minutes it takes to get there just to enjoy this mouth watering food!

I haven't been to many South Asian buffets but I thoroughly enjoyed Mezban. We came during lunch and it was pretty busy so getting seated was kind of hectic and confusing, but we eventually did. The food was hot and flavorful and I liked being able to try a little bit of everything. My favorite things were the samosas, haleem and the chicken corn egg drop soup; it was so good I had several bowls of it LOL. I also had something that looked like white tandoori chicken that I really enjoyed but I'm not sure what the name of it was. For desserts, I loved the kheer and my partner thought the flan was great too. I'd like to come back for the lunch buffet again!

My sister and I were craving Indian food so we took my parents out to Mezban, after reading so many good reviews. We loved both the food and service! The buffet isn't HUGE but it is a good selection. Everything was flavorful and perfectly spiced. My favorite was the chicken tandoori and curry. We got about 3 plates each and were super stuffed, but satisfied. The weekend buffet is $13.99 a person. The have lassis as well. Our waitress stopped by our table a dozen times to check on us and clean up empty plates. Most attentive waiter service I've received in a long time. They were all really friendly. I think that Mezban is a solid Indian buffet that has great food for a reasonable price! We'll be back if we are ever in the area again. Side note: Google Maps led us to the wrong plaza and we had to ask a security officer for directions. Beware!

Excellent south Asian food. Made fresh on the spot, the quality and flavor are evident in every bite. The paya and biryani should not be missed!

What a nice Pakistani buffet with great food!

Delicious food. Friendly atmosphere. The goat curry was wonderful. Many great selections on the buffet.

Unfortunately, our experience was quite the opposite. The first thing we noticed when we entered the restaurant was a strong, unpleasant smell. Since we had specifically gone there to try the food, we still decided to dine in. We ordered chai, Mysore masala dosa, chole bhature, and samosas. None of the dishes really stood out. The food was just average; not terrible, but definitely not worth making the drive for. The chai in particular had almost no flavor, and we couldn't even finish it. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially given the hype. There are many better options in the Katy/Richmond area where you can find great food in a much more pleasant dining environment. The smell inside the restaurant was also concerning, as it raises questions about hygiene and food safety standards. For context, we visited on a Saturday morning around 11:30 AM, so it wasn't late in the day or close to closing time. Based on this experience, I wouldn't prefer to visit again.

Our order included potato samosas (BOGO), the chicken 65 (BOGO), goat curry, palak paneer, and garlic naan. Be careful as the chicken 65 (mini fried chicken bites) have spiciness to it with a good amount of chili powder and pepper kicked in. The goat curry was alright, don't know if I would order it again as the grease was overwhelming. I wasn't a fan of the palak paneer, found it too runny and it was leaking when it was delivered to us. Also the garlic naan was a bit hard in the middle; maybe it's due to the packaging? Wouldn't mind ordering here again but we'll definitely do some different items. Their longevity (#1) of a near half century is nothing short of impressive, earning a nostalgic place in the hearts of many Houston diners, a good number of whom trace their first Indian cuisine experiences at this very location. While I do wish their success, it's hard not to point out minor mishaps in different aspects of the overall restaurant experience, which include: :: Awkward stares from the staff as they hover or stand in the middle of the room. It's understandable that they're monitoring to help where needed, but even then I will have to flag them down for water, napkins, or the bill. :: Buffet maintenance. They're semi-quick to replenish, but extremely slow at maintaining the cleanliness. Splatter from the daal makhani, a serving spoon not returned to the same serving tray, or even customers forgetting to close the bins at the dessert station (#2) could all be mitigated by a designated person keeping it tidy. :: Food quality. The tandoori chicken has been dry, the saag paneer could be creamier, and chicken tikka masala has had their bland days. Even the naan can be a bit too dry at times. Thankfully I've fared better with the chana masala and paneer makhani. I would also steer clear of their fruit punch. :: Decor is dark and dated. It still reminds me of a place that is stuck in time, which for most experiences are usually my favorite. The natural lighting during lunch alleviates this slightly, but the dinner hour makes this place feel like eating in an older hotel lobby. The vibes are most definitely challenging. :: Foodflation. Another price hike in the last year brings the buffet price to just under $22. While it's a nice jump from what it was previously, it does leave me wishing for more, especially when the prices keep climbing. ___________ (#1) 46 years. The food was definitely on the spicier side. While there was a decent selection, I found the overall taste to be fairly average. Nothing was particularly memorable, and I didn't feel it justified the price. The restaurant itself was clean, the ambience was pleasant, and the staff was courteous. The biggest downside for me was being handed the bill while we were still eating.
