My husband and I gave this place a go... a lot of reviews say they have tasteless food and rubbery chicken... well ours was just the opposite! I got the lunch cheese enchiladas. Literally the best I've tasted. My husband got chicken fajita tacos. The chicken was amazing! Rice and beans were also excellent. Service was outstanding. We sat in the patio, which made me nervous because we were the only ones out there, but the service was still awesome. It was chilly out. Our waiter turned the heater on for me without asking. One of the first restaurants I ever went to after moving to the area. Love the patio area as well as the inside. Food is fantastic.

First time trying this place out and it will be the last. We wanted to support a local business during this tough time and had heard decent reviews about this place. I went to pickup our order curbside and we had ordered one small and one jumbo margarita with our food. When they brought the order out I questioned the margaritas as the jumbo was almost the same size as the small (with a $5 price difference). The manager came to my truck and immediately accused me of saying they were lying and that I was trying to get free tequila from them. I told him that I did not want anything for free and that their menu showed the jumbo margarita served in a fish bowl, and this was clearly not right. After arguing with me for another minute or so I got fed up and left. The food was pretty good but we will not be going back after being treated so poorly by the management. It's unfortunate because this would likely be a place we would try again but they have lost our business after being so unprofessional. read more

I was originally so excited to see this place open up as it is right across street from where I live in Del Webb. I can't tell you how disappointed I was in the atmosphere and in the food and the prices were too high or should I say we were overcharged. Let me start by saying that the food really was not good. The chips were so hard that they could cut the inside of your mouth... Hard to chew... And their sauces were bitter tasting. As a matter of fact I called the waiter over and told him if they didn't make some changes very quickly with their business they would not survive. It just was not good at all. There was a large table of business people there for lunch and when they got up to leave... I heard one of them comment about how bad the food was and that it was really quite expensive.... I really would like to see them be Successful....but unless they are willing to make some changes I don't see how that would be possible at all. It is really dark inside..... and I felt like I was in a dungeon. I have no desire to go back to this place at all... Felt like I wasted my money here. Hate to be so negative but yes that's the way I feel. When we got our bill the prices were incorrect and higher than what was featured on their menu... Had to have it adjusted... But they graciously did after we showed the waiter that he had overcharged us several dollars for our meal. I hope you do make the changes necessary to stay in Business. read more

This was our first time in. They did not have but 5 tables with patrons. The service was slow and very unfriendly. My water glass had paper stuck to the inside of it. When I brought it to the waiters attention he said, "oh sorry". The food tasted like it came from a can. I had the chicken fajitas. The chicken tasted like the chicken you get at the grocery store that is sitting in marinade that you take home and grill. The other person I was with, had the crunchy tacos. They were horrible! So all in all I would say this place is not good. Don't waste your time or money to come here. read more

The food nor drinks were impressive by any means, especially for the price. The sangria was watered way down, tasted like flavored water. The food tasted like it came feom the cysco truck. Service was good, however, didnt know the difference berlteeen a lemon and lime. We wont be returning again unless we are in the mood for very bland food, except their salsa. Oh man what am amazing delivery meal experience. We just found our new go to Mexican restaurant. The meals were all really nicely individually packaged. The food order was perfect, no issues. And most importantly the taste and flavors were outstanding. We did empanadas, chunky guacamole, chimichanga combo, tamales in chili con queso cheese, chicharrones and a chicken fajita donkey burrito. They were all fantastic!!! read more

My wife and I have eaten at Mezcal somewhere between 35 - 50 times since March of 2020 to present. We've had the enchiladas (all of them), quesadillas, chicken tortilla soup, nachos (beef), blanco queso, chorizo, blanco queso and corizo mixed together (leads to personal injury because you'll overeat on the chips), los crispy taco's, both corn and flour tortillas, the rice, beans, their sopapillas, lava cake, tres leches cheesecake, fajitas (all of them), shrimp tacos, Beer Ritas! (frozen, Dos Equis, no salt), Mango Rita and Mexican Candy Rita...and the three things that keep us coming back are 1. Excellent Service (If Roger and Hector were Celebrities they would be "A" listers b/c they are that good!) 2. Excellent Food - of all the meals and drinks not a single disappointment 3. This is our new favorite restaurant! Super friendly staff, amazing tasting food, and drinks to die for! This is definitely our best strategy for getting through COVID-19.
