This review is based on my wife's recent visit for dinner experience here. She had reservations and got seated immediately. Atmosphere was nice but she was not impressed with the service that was slow and not very attentive. She ordered a wedge salad which had too much dressing and basalmic on it. She had seen one other table get fresh ground pepper, and when she asked for pepper the server brought out a pepper shaker for her. She then asked for fresh ground pepper and when the brought it out the server only gave it a few twist and barely anything came out. She almost took it from him, but requested more. The ravioli was the best part of her dinner and very good, and the ravioli were very big so she ended up taking half home with her. The complimentary bread was nice, but the first basket was hard and she did say the second was a little softer. Overall, she didn't have a very good experience and was disappointed. There are far better Italian Restaurants in Las Vegas to visit.

I've been eating at MEZZO for about 12-13 years. I've never had a bad meal. The menu choices are varied and everything is delicious. I've come with a few friends, small party, and big family gatherings; the service is always impeccable. The wine selection is great. You're missing a great food experience if you come to Las Vegas and don't stop in at Mezzo. There is also outside dining ( not in the LV summer heat). The ambience is perfect in the Spring, Autumn and evenings. Great food, service, drinks and jazz combos on special nights.

Ate here on a Saturday evening in early May for our wedding anniversary. We were greeted and sat in the very private front room, so nice!! Our server was friendly and helpful and the support staff was amazing and attentive. We started with the meat and cheese board and everything was fresh and delicious with a large variety of items. We shared the Summer Salad and Ravioli. The salad was exceptional, fresh with an explosion of flavors and the perfect amount of dressing. The ravioli was hot and tender and we fought over who got to eat the last one. Fresh hot bread was served beforehand and was also excellent. I couldn't believe how affordable such a delicious meal was with excellent service on top.

Love this place! It's such a family oriented restaurant with great customer service. My family loves this place to celebrate any occasion.

Made a reservation for 6 to celebrate a friends' birthday on a Tuesday evening and so very glad we did! I had the Grilled Salmon, he had the Cheese Ravioli with Shrimp. We arrived at 5:00PM and it wasn't too crowded. We had drinks & appetizers/salads at a slow pace. I want to give 4 Stars because the wait was just a little longer than expected. The entrees were served at 6:20PM and it just seemed like it took too long. The ambiance will have you thinking you are dining in an Italian village - it's so romantic! Perfect for a first date! We have dined here a few times before and it's usually a 5 Star experience. I highly recommend you try this Italian restaurant and decide for yourself!

Happy hour review...you need to get here between 3-5...but I promise you eating a little early is worth it for these deals. We thought we may have to sit at the bar for this, but they offered us a table in the bar that made this so much a nicer experience for a happy hour. We both got 5 dollar glasses of Cabernet and ordered the meatballs and the flatbread to split. They also brought bread to the table so we had plenty to eat. The bread was really good with a basalmic oil to dip in. The meatballs arrived first and they were quite good...2 for 5 dollars is a great deal...and they tasted great. Flatbread we got was pepperoni. This was a unique crust, but we both liked it. It was light and very flavorful flatbread. I will be back for more...the rest of the menu looked really good also for HH.

A well-off the strip small eatery in the Northwest park of town. Dimly lit, with the Italian mob feel, but the food didn't disappoint. Generous portions of lasagna, spaghetti, fettuccine, and baked ziti. Overall, the service was good, the food was pretty good, and it's a nice place for a date night. Prices were about average, to a little above the norm, hence the 4 star review.

Great first experience today! Service was outstanding, the gentleman behind the bar was very welcoming when we walked in. We enjoyed some Happy hour food items as well as chicken alfredo and were very pleased. Will definitely be back :-)

Okay. I never heard of Mezzo until I went there on a video shoot and when I stepped through the door of the restaurant I said I want to come here for dinner. The ambiance is so inviting. It's like walking into another world. The smells of the food cooking, the low lighting, etc. So now it's Saturday and I'm at Mezzo with my special lady friend, let the goodness begin. The service was superb. Very attentive staff. We both had a glass of wine. I had DAOU and my special lady friend had a glass of Justin. Dinner, meat lasagna for me, spaghetti and meatballs for the lady. Holy smokes! We were blown away. The lasagna was the best I've ever had and my ladies spaghetti and meatballs were awesome. The portions are fantastic and very hearty. You'll be taking home leftovers for the next day. In a nutshell shell or a pasta shell, Mezzo is fantastic and at a great price. We'll be going back that's for sure. So if you're looking for some real Italian food, head over to this gem. You'll love it!

Another great meal of Campanella pasta with creamy Marsala and shrimp and the grilled barramundi! Fish was chosen for cholesterol reasons but it has quite a lot of butter! Service by Steve S was again excellent, patient and helpful. Great seats and tables and soft music in a comfortable atmosphere.

To start, they seem to have a nice selection of wine so that's a plus. Their menu is also easy to read and not overwhelming. Their service was good and the ambiance in general was trendy. Unfortunately, the food was okay. The bread tasted old and the water tasted like cleaning solution. The meatballs were okay, they had some flavor but not the best and a little bit dry. The ravioli was good and it was their redeeming item!

Great time at Mezzo Bistro and wine pairing with Tobin James! Brandon was our amazing waiter and did a fabulous job. The food was exquisite. The room was so well set up and everyone was so accommodating.

    Chicken Parmesan

I tried Mezzo and honestly, I loved it. The food was sooo good and super comforting. I got this chicken parm with pasta on the side and everything was on point the sauce tasted fresh, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the chicken was crispy but still juicy inside. I've also tried their pizza and antipasto before and I loved those too ‍I would definitely come back!

Ask the Community - Mezzo Bistro Italiano

Is there egg in the pasta, noodles and ravioli?

I would suspect there is as the menu made no distinction that would indicate anything different.

What type of meat is in the meatballs?

I believe they are beef, maybe a little pork mixed in. not spicey. delicious. best to ask them for exact ingredients..

    Are there gluten free options?

Yes, my husband has celiac loves the pork chops, I had the barramundi.

    Is it 21 and over?

It's a restaurant but they do have a small bar area. So technically only 21 and over in bar area

Phone Togo order not working for 30+ mins tonight?

They often shut down delivery services and don't answer phones when they get busy. I've tried to purchase numerous times and run into the same problem.

Does anyone know their corkage fee? Thank you

    $15

What is the schedule for jazz nights?

It is typically Saturday, I think. But, if you check their facebook page, they always list the events. Join their mailing list too, and you'll get schedule announcements.

    Is there a happy hour?

    Yes, Monday thru Friday 4pm-6pm

    Is the pasta homemade?

As far as I know they are. Very fresh if not.

Is there a piano bar here?

No, not a piano bar here, but the do have jazz nights.

All the staff was super friendly and our server proved really good service. We had wine by the glass and the whipped Brie, mushrooms, steak, and split the burger. I shouldn't have to clearly hear conversations that are happening to the tables next to us. It was definitely a squeeze getting in and out of the tables without interrupting the table next to you. Our server recommended getting two plates per person. The menu isn't designed to have appetizers or entrees per se, so this menu seemed like it's kind of a tapas place or kind of not? If the plates aren't appetizers or entrees and they're more shareable, then why would we only get 3 pork ribs pieces instead of 4? The pork ribs had great flavor. it was crispy, tender, and fall off the bone at the same time, but it would've been better if they added one more pork rib bone instead of 3. The whipped brie with blackberry and honey was a bit disappointing. Even after mixing the whipped brie and with the blackberries, there were barely any fruit or honey flavor. All I tasted was salt. The brie was too salty with no taste of fruit or honey. Moreover, the brie came with 2 small pieces of toast, cut into 4 pieces. There was definitely more brie than toast, so we requested additional brioche toast. Of course we got charged extra for the toast. I just think the brie to toast ratio should be better. It seemed like the plate was 85% brie and 15% toast. How are we supposed to eat the rest of the brie when the toast provided is gone? I did not enjoy more brie over brioche ratio. We also got the burger and trout. Both shareable portions. The burger tasted like a slightly elevated Big Mac but saltier. Trout was good and cooked seared with a medium rare center. Flavor wise, the trout and pork ribs were my favorite. Also, the smokin petal cocktail was perfect. Overall, the experience here was just okay.
