I came back again today after a mixed on my most recent order. They offered me a gift card and allowed me to use it with no problem at all. The young lady that took my order was very friendly but as she was attempting to take my order taking a manager (I assume) kept interrupting us. She didn't say excuse me and did it twice. Although she was notifying her about a glitch in their soft drink options for the night, a simple "excuse me" would have been appreciated. The food was good and I appreciated them offering the gift card. I like the food and will come back again.

I thought about eating here for almost a year and finally made it in. If you're just looking for good food, go here. I was impressed. However, it wasn't an overall amazing experience. When I walked in, I took photos. I noticed how clean the kitchen was and took a photo (from the dining area) to help out. Before ordering my food, I received a message from the top demanding that I delete the photo of the kitchen. Not very hospitable. Especially when I was trying to help. They also add 3% to your check if you use a credit card. The Old Fashioned tasted great and a good pour, but the Blue Moon tap was watered down. And prices are a little high. Side Note: good yet small piece of bread with meal. The 4 stars is for very good food and quality service from Kaci and others. Worth checking out but didn't love the 3% extra charge and being asked to delete photo of kitchen right when sitting down--after being granted permission. I enjoyed the food but just a weird Big Brother vibe for me. It's mostly locals that dine here but worth a shot if you're in the area. Just know that everything you do is being watched (sometimes from another location).

We came here for an early lunch Sunday and we're so impressed! We were quickly seated and the wakes came by to ask for our drink order. We also placed a kids French toast sticks with bacon. It came out quickly and the kids devoured it. Our food came out quickly as well and it was so tasty! The Philly Chattahoochee m cheesesteak was huge and flavorful. The pasta trio (chicken parm, eggplant parm and meatballs) was huge! So much food and so delicious! Parking available in plaza. Saw outdoors seating but too cold to sit outside at the moment. Can't wait to go back!

Pros: My soup was tasty, but should have been hotter. Cons: Our service was TERRIBLE! It took over 45 minutes for food to arrive, and one friend waited 30 minutes just for her drink. I think our waitress was doing her best - it was Friday at 1 PM, and the restaurant was crowded - so, perhaps they were shorthanded. It was very frustrating to watch other groups come in, place their orders, get their food, and then leave before our food even arrived at the table! If the waitress or manager had come to our table and apologized, or maybe comped the very late drink, I'd be willing to give them another chance. It was disappointing that this seemed to be Mi Amiche's business as usual.

So this place looks like a quick pizza place and not like an elegant restaurant as the price are on the menu. We had the chicken parm and it was delicious. Super cheesy and watery but the chicken was good. Price is a little too high. The service is good. They are attentive but such a small place. The ambiance is busy. I would go here once in a while. I feel like there's better cheaper Italian places.

This restaurant has a nice menu presentation.... Unfortunately the actual food does not reach the quality that would be expected. I have gone 3 times and tried different dishes. I think the owner should create a comments card and hand them with the bill. I hate that it's not better, love the location. read more

Finally tried this new restaurant with my husband and daughter last Saturday night. We were so impressed! The food is delicious, and feels like homemade comfort! The owner, Justin, stopped by our table to chat, which we really appreciated. We love supporting local businesses in general, and we will undoubtedly be coming back to enjoy more of their yummy dishes! Can't wait to try their breakfast, especially the challah French toast!! read more

Disappointing. Pasta dishes are good. Others not so good. Had the Eggplant Parm.....terrible. Service is all high school aged staff. Most of thier clientele is also. If you want to pay a high price for an average meal, then this is the place for you. read more

FINALLY a good new restaurant in Mooresville! We have been here a few times for lunch and have had a great experience every time. All of the sub sandwiches have been excellent! The chicken parm sub is probably one of the best I've had. They have a nice patio area as well. Definitely a great addition to Mooresville!! read more

Well this was underwhelming experience. We were seated right by the kitchen entrance and got to see all the inner workings of the kitchen. The service was good our server did a good job, but the food was no so good. My entree was the Salmon and Shrimp Luciano over risotto. The risotto was , how do I put this, horrible. It was under cooked and the shrimp were over cooked. The salmon was dry. My wife's dish Lobster Bisque Crab Linguine was awful. The same sauce that was on my dish was on hers. Her shrimp were over cooked and to the life of me I could not find any crab in the dish. We came in because of the take we got earlier in the week although I will never order you Calamari again it was way over cooked. I have better delivered from Olive Garden. I will give you this you make a nice house and Caesar salad. But that is a salad my grandchildren can do that. So all in all I spent or shall I say wasted $100.00 on a dinner. Next time I will go to Pomodoros. I get nice service but more importantly I get way better food. read more

AMAZING! My new favorite lunch spot (they also do breakfast) our service and food were both top notch. Salads were fresh and inventive and protein cooked perfectly! frankly we don't get the huge amount of hype. we took our son from out of town (all of us the first time there) and we had pretty high expectations due to all the 5 star reviews. the service was just fine. the wine overpriced for the tiny little glass. I got the veal marsala and sent it back because it was too tough to eat and was replaced with chcken marsala and that was pretty good. husband got veal piccata and it was also tough but he ate it. son got chicken piccata and he said it was very good. piccatas both needed more lemon flavor and more capers and the pasta was fairly bland. all in all it was a let down and we probably won't go back at the prices they charge. on a side note, the blue cheese dressing was 5 star and so was the balsamic dressing but that couldn't save the whole meal. read more

We were in the area visiting family for a birthday. We enjoyed the gnocchi and the calamari the most! Everything we ordered was super fresh and tasty. All of the dressings were homemade. I also highly reccomed the red velvet cake. We highly recommend to anyone wanting delicious authentic Italian food. read more

Been in twice, one for brunch and once for dinner. Made a reservation for dinner but they weren't prepared for it and so we waited along with all the walk up diners for a table. Sat by the back kitchen door so our experience was a constant banging of the door and bright kitchen lights. Place was freezing cold so we and others around us ate with our coats on. We asked for some heat but that never happened. Food has been a mixed bag. Stuffed gnocchi got good reviews, Chicken Parm was thin, overcooked and dry, Shrimp Primavera was just ok, Calamari app consisted of several loose pieces and one big ball of fried breading and calamari. Ordered one beer which came with no glass, service was slow so had to wait to ask. Server was nice but service was very basic. Had high hopes given all of the Nextdoor activity but for $40 a person without alcohol we didn't get it. read more

Such a cute little restaurant in an unexpected spot off the beat and path. Met my cousin for breakfast and it was delicious! Had their homemade corn beef hash and eggs, yummy!! My second visit to Mi Amiche was very disappointing. After a great experience the first time with friends, I couldn't wait to go there with my husband. We arrived at 11:10 am and we were hoping to have breakfast, but they quit serving breakfast at 11:00. We ordered sandwiches. They were both dry and just okay. The service was just fair. The music was blaring some hard rock crap that was so loud, we couldn't carry on a conversation. I asked our server if it could be turned down a bit and she said she'd check. It never was turned down. We asked for boxes, packed up our lunches and went home to finish eating. My husband says he's never going back. read more

You guys have to try Mi Amiche in Mooresville !!!!! The food was amazing. I had the cheer wine BBQ sandwich with potato salad and it was out of this world. My son ate TWO of the kids plates of penne and even my 4yr old ate a whole bowl of the tomato bisque by herself !! That bisque was epic y'all. We got cheesecake to go and it was amazing as well. The best part was the owner. He remembered both my parents names from the last time they were there. He goes to each table and gets to know the customer. Such an awesome guy. My super picky 10yr old said we need to "give this place one million stars" -- eating lunch at Mi Amiche. read more

The hostess asked the number in the party. "Just me". There were plenty of tables available. After about 3-4 minutes of Fumbling around, (keep in mind they were not busy ). another hostess, with a long green scarf wrapped around her head to look like a gypsy, looked at me, took me around to the right side of the restaurant, and did not even bother to seat me at the table. The Following conversation below explains the reason I feel the way I feel. Keep in mind I was Asked if I wanted a Hi-top table. The hostess says. "Hi-top" ?? I said...." Sure...." She walks me past the bar towards the bathroom and sticks me a 2 seater table that was dark as crap. Not a hightop. So dark that I sat down and pulled out my phone in order to use the light to read the menu. I say.... "How about that table right there, pointing to the HIGH-Top in the bar... She says..." this is where I need to seat you for service.... ". ???? Since when can you not get service at a bar hightop??? I sit down.... I try to read the menu in the dark .. a waitress walks by me about 4 times ... no acknowledgment not even a how are you. Just walked past .... I get up and leave everything at the table and walk out .... so much for a decent meal and leaving a server a very decent tip. Never again .... I would not even post this if it had not been that this is the second time I've been to Duckworth's and service has just been horrendous. I'm not sure if it's because there is a group of regulars that go there and love the establishment, and gives them high scores but as someone who visits every now and then, and each time over the last six months has received horrible service I just don't understand. The food is not that great, and the service is even worse. I would not recommend this restaurant at any time of the day or night not until they can get either staffing needs straightened out or better food .

Yesterday there were a total of 2 employees during the lunch hour. We waited 15 mins for someone to acknowledge we were sitting there. After about 30 mins our food came and my burger was covered in like 3 cups of chili. After I finally scooped off all the chili I was left with 2 burger patties that looked like they had been incinerated. Shoals was like this in 2 previous visits. My wife had bbq and they were well sauced. Not sure, maybe I don't know what Buffalo actually is. Southwest egg rolls are nice and crisp on the outside but a weird mushy mess in the middle. That said, I think this may have just been an off visit because there were things we did enjoy.

Dairi-o's weiner is 100% beef in a natural casing, providing a snap when bitten, and is made to their specifications, they do not purchase a national brand. Like the other newer locations, this is a bright, clean spot up-fitted in retro diner style - open and spacey,plenty of sunlight from the numerous windows. The lot and the drive thru are easily entered, and the lot is spacious.

But someone ended up coming to seat us. The rest of our visit went off without a hitch. Our waitress was attentive throughout our dinner. The food was hot and good. Our orders were prepared as requested. A gentleman, who I assumed was the manager, came by to check on us. Overall, this was a much better experience than our first visit. For entrees, you can't go wrong with their pizza. It's one of our top favorites in the CLT area, as it's cooked in a wood-fired oven, and is both crispy and full of toppings. My husband particularly enjoys the Capricciosa, with artichokes, ham, mushroom, basil, and fresh mozzarella. Their calzones are really good, too. I usually get their lasagna, which is served in a bowl and is made to order. Their bolognese has a complex flavor, and the sauce-to-cheese quotient is just perfect. I always have some leftover to take home. If you have room for dessert, I highly recommend the deconstructed cannoli. It's homemade, and divine. Their gelato is well thought-out, served with a side of espresso to soften the ice cream and add a unique flavor. Presentation is carefully and well-thought out. Service is always good as well, no matter what time of day you visit (we prefer early dinners). We love this place, and will keep it on our "short list" for nearby dining!

My amazing waitress created me a mocktail with ginger beer and cranberry. It was colorful and wonderful. It had some tang to it. The Italian restaurant has Neopolitan pizzas and Italian dishes. It was so hard deciding what to select from the menu. If I hadn't just had shrimp, the shrimp scampi would have been what I ordered. Then there was a lasagna with a bechamel sauce I really wanted. But the pizza won out. My waitress talked me into the salad I was debating, too. The salad was Dolce Crostata. It has mixed lettuce, goat cheese, pancetta, candied pecans and golden raisins. I like the salads with fruit, and this one was wonderful. Novanta means 90 in Italian, which is the 90 seconds it takes to cook the pizza. It goes into the 900-degree Italian wood-fired oven. The pizza was a true Neapolitan with the soft, airy crust and a little bit of char on it. It tasted as good as it looked. I wanted a second pizza after my first slice, but I had trouble finishing the first and had to take half of the salad to go. I did love every bite of the margherita pizza and salad. If I lived closer, I'd eat here weekly as the food is that good. This is a hidden gem.

So dark that I sat down and pulled out my phone in order to use the light to read the menu. I say.... "How about that table right there, pointing to the HIGH-Top in the bar... She says..." this is where I need to seat you for service.... ". ???? Since when can you not get service at a bar hightop??? I sit down.... I try to read the menu in the dark .. a waitress walks by me about 4 times ... no acknowledgment not even a how are you. Just walked past .... I get up and leave everything at the table and walk out .... so much for a decent meal and leaving a server a very decent tip. Never again .... I would not even post this if it had not been that this is the second time I've been to Duckworth's and service has just been horrendous. I'm not sure if it's because there is a group of regulars that go there and love the establishment, and gives them high scores but as someone who visits every now and then, and each time over the last six months has received horrible service I just don't understand. The food is not that great, and the service is even worse. I would not recommend this restaurant at any time of the day or night not until they can get either staffing needs straightened out or better food .
