We have been here a few times and it never disappoints. Starting with the great service and the absolutely best authentic food. I ordered the chicken parm and the sauce and noodles are homemade. The chicken is large enough and it's never microwaved like other "restaurants ". The app I get is the tomato basil soup. Once again homemade and finish it off with nice garlic bread. I was too busy focusing on my food to see what my wife ordered but it looked good and she ate it all. The owners are awesome and always check on every table to make sure you're enjoying yourself. They also gave me the wrong soup. Thank God I saw the mistake and went back in. The girl never apologized or took responsibility of mixing it up. Just gave me the right soup. The soup was mostly broth. It had four meatballs and a few vegetables. My main meal was good but service sucks. I have attached copies of my receipt and credit card statement. This was my first visit to Mi Ameche and was very disappointed. First I must say the broccoli cheese soup,was amazing. We orders sandwiches and truffle fries. Fries were cold and smothered in what may have been mayonnaise. When we found the waitress we asked for fresh fries that were hot and not so much sauce. After finishing out sandwiches the fries arrived 5 minutes later. The waitress said kitchen was busy with carry out orders. We told her it was our first visit and we were not impressed. She didn't care. I've read great reviews about this restaurant. They need to be consistent with these reviews to stay in business. read more

I don't know how the calamari appetizer could have been more perfect or why it was so much better than any other place I've had it. I had the special with shrimp and scallops (delicious!). Wowzer! Found this place on Yelp and saw the Chicken Riggies listed. We didn't need to read the rest of the menu at that point. Ran in about 25 mins before closing on Friday night, but we treated like we were royalty, we are not :). Seriously everyone was super friendly. They had a great selection and chicken carbonara was the special. We had the Bruschetta, salads, chicken primavera with veggies instead of noodles, and the chicken Riggies that did not disappoint! Everything right down to the salad dressing was outstanding! We live about an hour away, but we will be back soon and you should go too! I really want to try the Marsala. Was looking forward to finding a good brunch spot near our house. Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience here. The service was terrible, eventhough there were a lot of employees on the floor. The food took forever and arrived cold. The main issue to me was the lack of service from our waitress and the lies we were told about comping a side dish we ordered, as a bonus due to our food being cold. This was not the case we were told this would have been a free swap prior to the cold dish issue. I understand things can happen, but don't blatenly lie about not charging us due to an issue we had eventhough you said we weren't going to be charged for the swap. Very little attention to the table and the food quality wasn't up to par for what they were charging. read more

Well this was underwhelming experience. We were seated right by the kitchen entrance and got to see all the inner workings of the kitchen. The service was good our server did a good job, but the food was no so good. My entree was the Salmon and Shrimp Luciano over risotto. The risotto was , how do I put this, horrible. It was under cooked and the shrimp were over cooked. The salmon was dry. My wife's dish Lobster Bisque Crab Linguine was awful. The same sauce that was on my dish was on hers. Her shrimp were over cooked and to the life of me I could not find any crab in the dish. We came in because of the take we got earlier in the week although I will never order you Calamari again it was way over cooked. I have better delivered from Olive Garden. I will give you this you make a nice house and Caesar salad. But that is a salad my grandchildren can do that. So all in all I spent or shall I say wasted $100.00 on a dinner. Next time I will go to Pomodoros. I get nice service but more importantly I get way better food. read more
