It was 11 at night and we had not had supper yet, because we were traveling for our anniversary from out of town. We saw the reviews, but decided to try it anyway because we had sat in the drive through at Sonic across the road for about 15 minutes with no movement at all. We made it to the drive through and there was no one in line and we got to the window and only had to wait about three or so minutes for our food. Never again! I am so disappointed. I work nearby and have been coming in once a month and sometimes once a week since they opened. But, never again. The service is so erratic and the food is not much better. We always eat in and sometimes wait to be waited on and then wait even longer for our food. Usually the food is good and as expected. But more and more often it seems that they are either understaffed or don't care or both. After taking more than 30 minutes to get our food today, my grilled chicken Caesar looked to be about half the normal size, was lacking in croutons and dressing. This place keeps getting worse and the managers use the pandemic as an excuse. When a customer makes a request specifically NO TOMATOES, that request should be honored. I break out in hives, just touching tomatoes. Many people would say, " check your order, before you leave". I really don't like holding up the drive thru line just to ensure that my request is honored. But here I am for the 3rd time, with a messed up order and food that have to be thrown away. I swear this place can be a hit and miss, but more so often a hit. Last time I went here, I went through the drive through because the dine in area was about to close in 15 minutes and we didn't want to be "those people." So - basically this review is rating the drive-thru experience that I had last time I went here. It was great! The cashier was really nice and sounded really nice. She made sure to double check our order (not a lot of people do this, which is so important). They have pink straws and I am oddly attracted to those. I asked the cashier to give me a handful of those straws and she total was cool with it! I think that I would prefer to eat at the restaurant vs taking it to go. I remember seeing Miami Grill in Jax when I was a kid. Thinking back, I'm not sure that we ever actually frequented any of the locations before they closed here locally. I saw that they had made their return and decided to visit the newly opened location in Regency. I have to admit, I was a bit skeptical from the reviews from fellow Yelpers regarding their wait time, customer service and food quality. However, I took a chance to formulate my own opinion based on my own personal visit. My visit was later in the evening around 8 o' clockish through the drive thru. It wasn't necessarily a peak time like lunch or dinner, so I can't speak to the wait time during those periods. But my food was actually delivered quickly and efficiently. The staff member who took my order was pleasant and polite. I actually timed the process to see how long it would take compared to other reviews and it only took me roughly 4+ minutes to order and wait for my food. I didn't order anything fancy. I just went for a classic Philly combo with the usual - fries and a drink. The Philly was average. It was just your run of the mill fast food take on your regular cheesy and beefy sandwich classic. The portion was pretty big though. It was a lot of sandwich for the overall price ($10+) with a good ratio of meat and cheese to bread. The fries weren't fresh, but they still had a crispness and decent flavor to them. It was a sandwich comparable to any other fast food establishment with similar menu offerings. So why the 3 star review? Well, the visit and food was just on the average end. I found myself thinking that the food was ok, the service was ok and the experience was ok. For the price point, I could get the same kind of overall experience for a bit cheaper. It's cool to see that the business has found a foothold in Jax again. I wish them the best. If I decide to visit again, I would perhaps try some of their other items from the wide variety they have on their menu. But for now, I came, I saw and I left with an okay experience. read more

I've been coming here since they returned to Jacksonville a little over a year ago, and I also going to Miami Subs Grill when it was here before they left And closed all their Jacksonville locations. Their menu contains a wide variety of meals, from subs to chicken wings to Philly Cheesesteaks. I tried their Cuban sandwich, and I could taste more of the pulled pork than the ham. I've also had their turkey sub, which is what I usually get. Their seasoned fries are also good, but not the best. The food is about average, to be honest. I'm hoping to see more Miami Grills open up in the 904. read more

Supporting the Jaguars in the playoffs with free fries is a win, but the food in general missed the goal. Now this is my second visit, my first was when they had just opened. However, I didn't write my review then out of fairness of just opening and they had some qwirks to work out. After almost a year, still not impressed. Although my fries were free and the wings also come with fries... it's the wings. This is a place that offers naked, grilled and fried breaded and a fair amount of sauce choices, the wings are tiny and felt like microwaved from a vending machine. I would have expected better as they "pride themselves" on grilled food. They do have a good number of tvs and were showing football but won't be my first choice for wings and fries. This place is a disaster. I ordered a simple combo meal, it took 35 minutes for the food to come. When I finally got it, it wasn't even what I ordered. When I asked for a refund, they offered me a gift card, but I'm never coming back here. I'll just take my money and leave. I was a big fan of Miami subs years ago before all their locations in Jacksonville closed. I was happy to hear about the reopening. I visited their new location a few days ago and I ordered the Cuban sandwich. Needless to say, I wasn't impressed. The pulled pork tasted like it was cooked with Arabic seasoning of some kind and it only had one tiny slice of ham. It definitely did not taste like a traditional Cuban sandwich. I used to love their turkey subs, I probably should have just stuck with what I remember was good. I will definitely give this location to try again but will go with the turkey time. My scale: 5=AMAZING, 4=Really Good, 3=Decent, 2=Okay, it's edible, and 1=Probably will not return. The facilities are nice. Weird front counter. The food is decent. I ordered a Gyro Pita meal; my side was the Greek salad. I was disappointed with the tzatziki sauce and the dressing for the Greek Salad. The sauce tasted like a very mild sour cream and the dressing on my salad tasted like Italian dressing; not Greek. For me, the meat and the tzatziki sauce make the gyro a gyro! The meat was fine but I was disappointed with the sauce. Same with the salad dressing...the olives, feta, and dressing are what sets the Greek salad apart from other salads. I was looking forward to Greek dressing but, was disappointed. These are the only things I was disappointed in. Everything was pretty good. I had a 20% off coupon and the total came to $7.78. I think this is a decent price. Overall, I will probably come again but, remembering it is fast food. I won't get so excited about the gyro again. Lol! read more

Had a disappointing experience today. I recently broke my leg which has forced me to sign up with bite squad to order food as I am shut in. Ordered 10 chicken wing platter which comes with celery and french fries. Just ordered same 2 days ago.well today they just send 10 wings no fries or celery. I call and speak with Matt. He says, well all I can do is next time you order ill throw in some extra fries. I doubt if there will be a next time, said no way to refund any money since ordered through bite squad. My gyro was pretty good but the meat was overdone. It took over 20 minutes in the drive through for 2 cars in front of me at 1 pm in the afternoon when there was hardly anyone in the place. After the extremely long wait for one car to move I times the next car and it took 9 minutes for them to get there food. When I got to the window mine was already ready and cold. If the car behind was ready they should have had the car at the window pull side and brought it out, instead of letting the next persons food sit there and get cold. We've been here 3 times. Each time was quite disappointing. First time after 30 minutes my food still had not come out, went to check on it, and the ticket for my order got misplaced. 2nd time my beans and rice came out cold, and my mahi was supposed to be blackened (even was rang in correctly on the receipt), but instead it was plain. They also missed the cookie that was supposed to come with my toddler's kids meal. Manager could tell that i had a concerned look on my face and came and addressed it. They replaced my platter, but forgot my side of fries. At that point my toddler was done being there so i didn't sweat it. The third visit was the deal breaker. 20 minutes past after I ordered (cuban sandwich for me and kids burger for my toddler), I went and checked on it and I was told there was still a few orders ahead of mine. Another 20 minutes past and still nothing (40 minutes total at this point). While I was checking on it, the two people that ordered ahead of me said they had been waiting for 45 minutes. The entire time I was there I noticed three managers sitting in a booth conducting a "meeting", but it appeared they were really just B.S.'ing. At no point did they realize there was several angry customers within ear shot of them, nor had they realized their kitchen was crashing and they were running 40+ minute ticket times. I'm not one to get angry over food, but I stopped by the booth and told them "hey guys while you guys are just sitting here, whike your kitchen is crashing and running 40+ minute ticket times... you might want to address it". They looked at me dumbfounded and one jumped up to go see what the issue is. A runner eventually brought my food, and was super apologetic, but it wasn't his fought. The food was just slooped on our plates. My toddler's kids burger was well over cooked and came on a full size bun, which made it look like the old where's the beef commercial. My cuban was also dried out. At no point did a manager come by and apologize. I don't look for my meal to be comped, just a simple acknowledgement that they messes up and an apology by the manager. I came here, because it was supposed to be quicker service than a sit down restaurant, since most toddlers don't always have the attention span for sit down restaurants, but by the time my food came out on both those occasions, we could have been done eating at most sit down restaurants. We won't be going back, and I don't recommend anyone to give it a shot at all. I tell all my friends and family the same. read more
