The lines are there and keeps replenishing with more people arriving, but at least nothing is sold out when you get to ordering. I arrived at 5:20 PM on a Sunday and there was already a substantial number of people waiting to place a takeout order. There is a staff member who goes through the line just to ask if you're going to be dining in or taking out. You can get a seat at their counter inside to dine in, but otherwise there is not much room inside. Some people put in their orders and get a line beer ($5 Polar pilsner) to drink outside while waiting. I do appreciate that you can take your takeout pizza box and sit on the patio to eat your purchases. They have a water cooler with cups available for people in line and on the patio outside. Trust me when I say it is needed for surviving standing in line this humid sweltering Miami weather. They even have a rack to throw your pizza box if you finish eating your pizza so they can recycle the boxes. They take and put together an order at a time, so you get pandemic times vibes being allowed inside to place an order at the counter. The door is shut after someone comes out and another person is allowed inside. A great way to increase the anticipation of placing an order, and an ingenious way to make me want to order a slice more than I had intended. I didn't get any sauces on the side since I'm a purist about enjoying the dish as is before adding other flavorings, but I know now to return for sauces. The pizza slices themselves were lovely. They were all dressed with pillowy shreds of parmesan that allowed the cheese aroma to float as you took a bite. The Pepperoni Proper ($8.25) was fantastically unctuous and had those curly pepperoni slices that give that nice crunch when you bite in. I haven't been on the hot honey train for very long, but the sweetness of the honey really gave a new dimension to the flavor of the pie. It could have been spicier---I couldn't pick up on any of the hot flavor. The Leeks on Bacon ($9.25) was unfortunately way too rich for me. I had been excited to try this because I love the sweetness of leeks when they are cooked, and it's hard to find leek employing dishes. On paper, a garlic confit cream sounds delightful, but it was quite heavy on the cream, even spread out on the crust. The bacon they used was mostly fat when you took a close look at the slices. And remember, they topped the pizza with that fluffy shredded parmesan. The La Salsera ($8.25) was very intriguing to me, and it came off more of a marinara sauce pizza with that signature squiggle of pesto sauce. I couldn't see or taste a lot of the vodka sauce that is supposed to be the third sauce on the pie, but the combination of the densely flavored sauces with the parmesan was delightful to see and taste. What I feel makes the pizza pies special to eat is the crust. It is the closest to bread dough that I've seen, which makes it a great part of the pizza to eat in its own right, with or without sauce or toppings. I hope no one throws these crusts away, but if I see any of my friends doing so with these crusts, I would without a doubt eat them. The price tag of the pizzas ($47-63 for specialty whole pies) would not let me make a regular trip here, but it is certainly a nice treat for yourself on occasion. Easily the best pizza in Miami !!! I have been impressed by Miami Slice both during takeout and dine-in experiences. Cannot recommend enough When you get to the restaurant, you stand in one of two lines: one for seating at the indoor slice bar, and one for takeout and/or seating outside. The slice bar is a very limited seating countertop vibe, so I'd recommend getting there a bit before opening time to be seated immediately. It is 100% worth it though - great vibe inside and so fun to see the pies made right in front of you. I was extremely pleased with the takeout process as well - once I made it to the front of the to-go line and placed my order, I had my food in hand within 15 mins. As far as the pizza goes, you cannot go wrong with anything on the menu. My favorites are the pepperoni proper with the kicks (hot honey and stracciatella) and the la salsera. I don't see the hype & didn't taste the hype either. It's good, decent pizza but not worth an hour and twenty minute wait. Almost $8 per slice is kind of crazy given that they use basic ingredients! If you have time to waste and stand in a line , in the heat for average pizza, then go right ahead. The staff was really nice and they have beers for $5 for customers waiting on line as well as a cooler by the door with cold free water in order to hydrate while waiting. You have the option of eating inside which you would have to sign up to that list upon arrival. If not, you can eat at the Terrance after ordering. While having our slices, there were flies everywhere. In my opinion it compares to a regular slice with hot honey drizzled on it. I was hoping for a WOW factor and this was not the place. read more

Last night we passed by before HH to grab a slice (take out only) and waited about 30 mins in line but it's worth it every time. Parking is of course extremely difficult to find so just wait patiently for someone to leave. Pricing is higher than most places for a slice but you're getting quality. If you're hungry, two slices should be enough. If you're just a little hungry, one slice will do. Prices are reasonable. The most expensive pizza is the Mushroom Truffle at $10.75 per slice or $63 for a whole pie. It's definitely worth trying! I read that the pizzeria is always busy. When I got there on a Thursday night around 8:15 p.m., all the tables inside and outside were taken, and there was a small line for tables. Luckily, the take-out line only had two people before me, and I waited about 8 minutes to order. The place does not accept cash, by the way; they have a notice on the entrance door. It took only 5 minutes to prepare my order. But as I was leaving, I saw that the take-out line had grown to about 12 people! This place is definitely busy! I highly recommend this pizzeria if you're looking for good pizza in Miami and want it by the slice. The location is a bit tricky, though. The area around it is still being developed, so walking there can be complicated, and the neighborhoods around might not feel safe. But if you drive, you'll be fine. The slice options are the Margherita De La Casa, Pepperoni Proper, La Salcera, Leeks on Bacon, and Mushroom Truffle. All of the slices were presented to us at the same time and I loved how you can see as they are being prepared. Each one was delicious, but of course, some stood out more than others. Mostly hype. I travel to NY a lot for work and i can't event compare the quality. There are for more better pizza joints in NYC so for this place to claim they have mastered the NY pizza, its so far from the truth. Don't get me wrong, the pizza is decent but not worth waiting 45 minute to over an hour in line. Miami crowd needs to understand how long it takes to make the perfect pizza. It takes more than 2 to 4 years to master the craft. Unfortunately , I'd give this a solid 3 stars considering the price they charge for mediocre slices. Sure, they shave some fresh cheese on top but that can't make up for the lack of melted cheese. The sauce is ridiculously good and the crust is extremely thin. But Zazzy's, Eleventh Street, and Cife City offer better pies. Additionally, the price is absurd. $43 for a pepperoni pie, $8 for a slice.
