When the food arrived, a different employee dropped it off, and the pozole was red pork pozole instead of the green chicken pozole we ordered. We immediately let that employee know the order was incorrect, and she took it back. A few moments later, our original waitress came to the table with an aggressive attitude and asked my wife, "So you want to switch your order from red to green?" This made it seem like we had changed our order rather than acknowledging that the wrong order had been taken in the first place. We explained that we had originally ordered the green pozole. She then told us that since we were "switching" it, it would take a while to make. When the green pozole finally arrived, she dropped the bowl on the table without making eye contact and walked away. The wait was so long that we had already finished the entire taco plate by the time the pozole arrived. We decided to just take the pozole to go. The waitress continued avoiding our table, so we eventually had to get up and walk to the counter to pay. When we asked for limes and onions to go with the green pozole, the owner informed us there would be an additional charge for each side. We paid, but the overall experience had already been soured. I told the owner about our experience, and while I was explaining what happened, the waitress with the neck tattoo walked by and laughed. I even pointed it out to the owner and said, "See, she's laughing about it right now." The owner said she would speak with the employee. After reading other reviews, it seems that poor customer service may be a recurring issue here. Mistakes happen, but the lack of accountability, poor attitude, and dismissive behavior turned a simple order mix-up into a very negative dining experience.

When I picked up my order, I noticed there were several containers of sauce in the bag, so I felt the containers and assumed there was a mix of salad dressing and the yellow and green sauces. I didn't open the bag to check. Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized that all the containers were salad dressings and there wasn't a single yellow or green sauce for the chicken. 7 salad dressing containers. The food itself is great, which is why I keep coming back. This review is really for the young staff working there, please slow down for a second and double check the orders before handing them to customers. Missing sauces might seem like a small thing, but when they're one of the best parts of the meal, it makes a big difference. Hopefully, this helps prevent it from happening to other customers. When our server brought out the dish, I immediately noticed there were tomatoes on it, so I reminded her that I had asked for no tomatoes. She walked over to the wall that separates the dining room from the kitchen and loudly yelled to ask if the order had been made without tomatoes. About a minute later, she brought the same plate back and said there were no tomatoes. However, while eating, we found a large piece of tomato in the dish. Our server also never checked on our table. We constantly had to wave her down whenever we needed something. At one point, another table even had to tell her that we were trying to get her attention.
