Customer Service was horrible. i have ordered a number of times included catering and the food was excellent tonights dinner was the polar opposite. The food was not very good. we called to see if they changed chef's and was told they haven't. I have a function coming up and would not order the food if it was like tonight. This place is fantastic. Came for the first time a few weeks back with my mother in law who grew up with the owner Michael. I had the chance to meet him and he was very nice, polite, professional, and makes delicious food. I had one of his special plates named "The Godfather". I absolutely loved it. Michael G's is a great take out or sit in casual restaurant. Family owned and run. Michael making pizzas daily old style. Excellent food! The chicken parmigiana with ziti take out transferred to my plates. The chicken parmigiana dinner comes with a nice mini salad and delicious bread. My nephew has to have the chicken parmigiana every time he comes over. You can't go wrong only $14 bucks and it takes 15-20 to make. The cannoli's are also over the top. The calamari with linguini also very good. The steak tips look good but have not tried them yet. Come here if you want fresh Italian food for a reasonable price. read more

We got the chicken alfredo, a side caesar salad, chicken marsala and the mozzarella triangles and we were very disappointed. The alfredo was very bland, did not taste good and it was very watery. The pasta in the marsala was extremely gummy as if it had been over cooked for 10 minutes too long. The salad was fine, but it was extremely small for price. The mozzarella triangles were the only good thing about the meal and they were nothing to write home about. We paid over $65 for all the food and we regret it. Awesome food, better than you can get in Boston's North End. Lots of home made food, the pasta, meat balls, bread, cookies etc are all made in house. I have never been disappointed in anything i have eaten here. I recommend the restaurant and bring friends here all the time. I have my favorites especially the home made Ziti w/ Meatballs, Chicken Parm, steak subs. Pizza is very good even though I do not order it too much I still love it. The store is always clean the help cashiers are always friendly and helpful. I could eat here everyday and probably would if I lived closer. read more

This place is the spot to go! I seen so many amazing reviews online and had to come check it out. My boyfriend and I split The Godfather pasta and breaded ravioli. The pasta came with a salad, I am a salad snob because I love a good salad and this side salad was delicious. Not sure what type of dressing it was they gave me but yessss please lol. They also give you bread with oil for dipping. The ravs were cooked perfectly and the cheese inside was so creamy and delicious. Now the main event, the pasta! Omg if I could eat it every day I would haha. The chicken just fell apart, the spinach, red peppers, tortellini and shrimp were cooked perfectly( we all know a lot of places over cook the shrimp ), the pesto cream sauce is heavenly! I tried a bite of a steak tip that we got to go for my boyfriends brother and wow, I can't wait to come back for them and some pizza! Besides how great the food was, the girls at the register were seriously the sweetest! The place was also super clean. It could be great but... They don't have actual napkins just coarse paper towels on a role on the table that you have to tear off. When you order a slice of pizza it comes on the cheapest paper plate you could imagine. God forbid they double them up! They don't have table service.
