630 pm, Friday the 13th, February 2026…read more No bad luck here. I was asked to pick up a package as I was enroute from DTLA. I was sent the confirmation email ahead of time. I was greeted by one of the women as I approached the counter. She asked for the name on the order and went to the storage room. She was gone only a few minutes. No problems at all. I was patient and let the employee go at their own pace. The transaction was so easy. Make sure you have your ID ready even though it was not examined. Haha. I had the important part, the email and the name of the purchaser. That was the easiest order pick up ever. BTW, I was offered a 50% off promotion for completing a pick up order in store only.. Unfortunately, I was only the courier. Parking aplenty even though it's very near the restaurants. Park close or go to other adjacent lots.

I even got a rug for my bathroom it was the perfect size for our bathroom too. Customer service was nice, when you go to pay you can do self checkout or have someone help you. I had someone help me, but he was new so he didn't know what to do but someone came to help which was nice. I also purchased one of their bags since I forgot mine. Found a really cute little black dress with a cutout back which I have never got before, especially with my livedo reticularis (spider web rash) from my autoimmune conditions is all over my arms back and everywhere so it makes me a little insecure. But I saw this dress and just had to get it. I can never get enough black dresses or clothes lol! She helped me choose i picked out a long black dress and this one she told me the short one looked better. So happy I got it, I tried it on at home for fun why not right? Lol Parking lot is a bit small but usually find parking, it's such a cute little store they have a lot of cool random things which I love. I will be back again soon. My friend and I were approached by three different employees during our time there. They asked if they could assist us with anything and gave some great recommendations. I was looking for a fantasy book for my teenage brother and the employee was incredibly helpful giving recommendations, finding the "teen book of the month." I didn't even know they had a teen book of the month! The organization of the store was great. The categories and book selections that were specially displayed were especially helpful. For example, in their AAPI stories section I was able to find some really interesting books that I might have not otherwise seen. A selection of their Barnes and Noble specialty book covers that feature some classic works (like Pride and Prejudice and Winnie the Pooh) were on sale for between $8-$12. For such a beautiful high quality book, I would definitely return to purchase one of those at that price. The other books though were a bit pricey. The employees there made this visit extra enjoyable. I don't go to Barnes and Noble very often, but yesterday's visit makes me want to return again soon.

I was sitting in my car as she walked out with her balloons and other purchases. I noticed the balloons because I had seen her inside with me & they were pretty large. She walked out to her car which was parked in front of mine. I happened to look up at just the exact moment- I saw one of the balloons slip away into the air. There was no way she could have caught it because it had come away from the string. The lady was holding onto the string. She was frustrated and I told I saw what happened & I told her to go back inside. I stuck around because I wanted to be a witness if needed. She came back outside & said they were getting another balloon ready. But she also told me that the clerk inside told her " you should have held onto it " Who holds onto a balloon by the " nub"? And they used to provide the balloon weights free of charge with the purchase of the balloon! As far as the actual store - it's clear the workers work very hard & seem to have a good sense of " ownership ",my experience is that they care about the store and want it to do well. I've heard the supervisor discussing re- organizing the store in trying to keep it neat. This does seem to be one of the neater stores in the area. This store gets an Orowheat bread delivery, which I only used to see at the 99c store when they were around.

This toy store is unique and magical for many reasons…read more This is a magical place for our family because of the thoughtfully curated items within its walls. It is not overwhelmingly superfluous. This store lends itself to making thoughtful purchases, allowing us to think about the recipient and the joy it will bring them. This store and the items they have on their shelves really speak to the purpose of toys, but also their expertise of providing what is trending in addition to the classics that continue to bring smiles and joy to people. I've gifted items to high school graduates, college graduates, primary school aged children in my family, and colleagues from this store and they all loved and almost all of them knew the items I purchased! I love the feeling of giving a gift and knowing the recipient loves it.
