    Chicago dog w/everything & fries

The quintessential Chicago-style hot dog stand. All the basics plus quick & friendly. 2 hot dogs both with fries for $7.75? Fuhgettaboutit!

I researched on Yelp the nearest place that has Chicago dogs. A lot of places came up but I decided to go with Mickeys. I didn't notice the "drive in" but I parked and went inside. The place were pretty packed inside with people dining in. The service was very quick and I didn't wait long. My hot dog was so delicious just how I like it. I like that they put a hot pepper on it which gave it an extra touch. The bread was good and the fries that came with the hot dog was good. I like that they give the small fries...my favorite! I would definitely return here. Fast service even when busy and the workers were polite. Next time I am in Illinois I will be paying a visit to Mickeys!

This is hands down the best priced, great tasting fast food in this corridor. Also I have been to a Mickey's suspect they're the same business, but service fast, friendlier. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend their 2 Vienna hot dog and fry special for under $6. So what on earth are you waiting for?!

Great two dog special with fries. Stopped by as it was nearby where I was visiting, and I haven't had a Chicago dog in a while. Plenty of food for $7. Buns were steamed and had all the fixings that were fresh. Teenagers working were polite and hard workers. Definitely would recommend.

My first visit and they didn't know it was National Chili Cheese Day (third Thursday of July) and I feasted on a couple coneys. Unfortunately their chili has beans and they use pump cheese sauce under the chili. I prefer shredded cheese and no beans. Pretty decent fries, not fresh cut, reminiscent of McD's in size. I'd definitely stop back and the 2 dog special is popular and a good value at $7.75, saves you $1.25. Friendly staff always a bonus.

    Bad beef sammy

Ordered a hot and sweet beef, they forgot the hot pepper, It's very tough beef, went to Portillos... I love Mickey's I've been there a lot but the food quality is gone down drastically.

Perfect hot dog stand with hand dipped shakes. There's a reason Mickey's has been around forever - they do their job well.

The sun stretched across the pavement like it had personally returned to remind everyone what happiness felt like. The air was crisp, cinematic almost. I had just finished demolishing a bowl at Chipotle when, in the distance, glowing like a beacon of hope to hungry travelers, I spotted the legendary Scooby's sign. Curiosity took over immediately. I wandered into the establishment in search of Scooby snacks. The atmosphere was charming, nostalgic, and wonderfully chaotic in the best way possible. I asked for a paper menu and a few recommendations for the next time I stopped by. Little did I know destiny would return me there in less than 24 hours. The previous night had been a reckless adventure through the city. Loud music, shots, questionable decisions, the usual. The next morning I awoke slightly dehydrated but not hungover because, quite frankly, I am built different. Starving and operating purely on instinct, I prayed Scooby's would be open. Miraculously, it was. As I approached the restaurant, I could hear the passionate echo of a woman enthusiastically yelling into a microphone at what appeared to be a nearby high school graduation ceremony. I stepped inside and was greeted by a smile that honestly made it difficult to remember I came there for food. I asked for a recommendation and was directed toward the gyro meal with jalapeños on the side. What arrived before me was not merely a gyro. It was a colossal, magnificent monument to human achievement. The thing was enormous. Overflowing with flavor, perfectly seasoned meat, fresh toppings, warm pita, and enough character to deserve its own Netflix special. I have eaten gyros from many places, including spots run by Greeks themselves, and somehow this glorious beast stood above them all. The interior of the restaurant felt oddly familiar, almost like a real-life Krusty Krab tucked away in the suburbs. Naturally, I felt spiritually obligated to order what could only be described as a Krabby Patty equivalent. The hamburger arrived beautifully grilled, juicy, smoky, and crafted with the kind of precision reserved for aircraft engineering. Scooby's is not just a restaurant. It is an experience. A beautiful fever dream fueled by hunger, nostalgia, jalapeños, and exceptional customer service.

Great food and fast service. Always a great spot to walk to with the kids to get some food.read more

Lower your expectations because you're here for the food, nothing else. The staff was nice and helpful. I ordered a mango lassi, gladiator burger, and cowboy (with an extra patty). The mango lassi was good. The burgers were huge so I got my money's worth. I ordered mine medium rare. -gladiator 5 - it had double patties, halal turkey bacon, eggs, coleslaw, etc. It was perfect and very palatable. I really liked that CEO sauce. -cowboy 3.5 - it has a lot of similar ingredients as the gladiator except it has onion rings, no eggs or coleslaw, and bbq sauce. For some reason, the patties taste different from the gladiator, it was kind of bland. Everything else tasted fine.
