Please don't be discouraged to the aesthetic appearance, nor location of this established computer-electronic repair shop-center. For example, I am an active student for Santa Monica College (SMC) and part of the Disabled Student Program Services (DSPS), where I am provided with accommodations that are individually designed and tailored for each student needs in order to enable students with disabilities to have an equal opportunity to participate in a classroom environment or in an academic program to be successful. Through the SMC DSPS program, one of the most important and valued accommodations is the ability to record classroom lectures. Because we're publicly quarantined at home, my education is provided remotely online via ZOOM instead of attending a classroom environment. However, the positive side of continuing education remotely online is that within this new circumstance I am able to record lectures visually, compared to only being restricted to audio recording which at times it wasn't very helpful because I was not able to comprehend the lecture as well. However, because of this new circumstance, I am ecstatic that I am put in a position where I am able to record lectures remotely. In addition, I benefit this by transferring files from one computer to another via the use of a USB flash-drive, since the desktop computer that I regularly use for remote classroom academic education doesn't have a large memory storage capacity. Most importantly, I would have not accomplished the necessary transfer of files without the use of my "128 SanDisk Wireless USB Flash-Drive", which I realize I am heavily dependent on in order to be successful through school's semester. During the semester, there was a point where I had damaged my USB flash drive to the point where the device was not functioning correctly according to the factory settings. Looking back at this memory, I was extremely depressed and anxious realizing I would no longer be able to be reliant upon it as I have in the past few months. Despite this circumstance, I encouraged myself to contact every single computer store & electronic repair shop for help. However, not one establishment was available to offer their services. After facing constant roadblocks, I wanted to give up, until I finally was relieved when I found a computer consultant named Carlos who was able to reciprocate and understand my concerns. Carlos recommended its partner computer repair store that has been in business for 30-years. They were able to fulfill my concern. This business store is called the Micro Computer Center Inc, located on 11651 West Pico Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90064. Furthermore, this whole adventure has been very depressing, yet very rewarding with the outcome of my experience where this store was the ONLY computer store in Los Angeles that had the services tailored to meet my needs and expectations in order to evaluate and process my situation. It is very disheartening to be aware that all computer stores in Santa Monica & Los Angeles that I have attempted to try and fix my USB-flash drive did not have the expertise, nor the services, which contradicts their websites. ONLY the Micro Computer Center was able to reciprocate the issue and resolve the situation by finally repairing my USB drive. I was so happy, so extremely ecstatic knowing that I have another opportunity to continue transferring my data from the first computer to another computer. Throughout this ordeal, I had broken this tool twice, and during each visit the cost was affordable. For example, the time I visited the micro-computer store was at $35, then the second time the repair cost was $15. In the end, I am unbelievably grateful for Carlos from the Computer Consultant Shop referred to a trusted partner business such as the Micro Computer Center Inc, where Muhammad, a staff member, was able to repair my USB drive for school. Hands-down, the short time I have interacted with him, he is awesome, efficient, skillful, friendly, and an understandable technician that resolved the issue. For a broken laptop/notebook screen, this is really the place to go. It's local to me, but if I had to ship my laptop off, I'd still pick them. After a major case of electronics dumbassery, in which I failed to lock the legs of a portable table which collapsed and left my not terribly common Asus C90S with a broken screen, Micro Computer Centers came to the rescue with a price good enough to not make me feel like buying a new laptop. Their service was pretty fast and it's just good knowing there's a place I can go when I have a major case of computer FAIL. Thanks to my fellow YELPers for their reviews that led me to MCC. It's a small, unpretentious shop where they really know their stuff, and all the prices they have look like an awesome alternative to big chains. read more

My old computer place in West LA on Santa Monica is no longer there and after getting a quote from the large electronics retailer down the street where I bought my Acer laptop a year ago- it seemed better for me to buy a new computer than to get it repaired. I work three blocks away so I planned my lunch to stop at Subway then at Micro Computer to get a quote. I nuked my laptop and I couldn't get it to boot. These guys gave me a very good quote. I brought my computer and boot disks to them the next day as promissed and they had it fixed it for me in 24 hours as promissed at the price that they quoted. I paid and left happy. The Micro-Computer Center has been my go-to place for computer repairs; I've been a repeat satisfied customer. Over the past several years, Mr. Noori and his staff have quickly resuscitated multiple laptops and desktops of mine at a reasonable cost. I particularly appreciate that they're willing to work with me when I am having problems with a machine hosting an older operating system like Windows XP or Windows7. They don't insist I update. They acknowledge that there is no need to upgrade a WinXP machine that does its job just fine with twenty years old software. I am a business owner of a small company. Two days ago our server went down , so we lost our internet, email and files....Then I took it to micro computer center, well thank god I did !!! Moe and his team of techs were able to fix the server in one day,replaced one bad hard-drive and fixed everything back,,, how about that , for fast and great service .Not only fast,professinal,but even the price was very reasonable. Warning!! DO NOT rely on their repair service, nor buy any products from them. I took my computer in to be repaired a while back. The level of service I received could be likened to that of a 3rd world country. All you will ever get is a lot of mish-mashed, mumbo jumbo in person and over the phone about what is wrong and that you need all this s**t that you don't really need. I have an older win 7 computer that was so slow it was impossible to use and was randomly shutting down. Two other stores had tried to fix it and failed. The technician at MCC was able to fix my computer and now it runs like it's supposed to. The store is not impressive and is cluttered with various computer equipment but they sure do know what they are doing. They are not the fastest but are reliable and work hard to do a good job. The price was reasonable. I am comfortable going to this store to get my computer problems fixed. read more

well i am alway a lil leary about goin to computer fix it stores i have had some bad experiances in the past, but the amazing people at micro computers center changed that, they were extremley helpful, and very friendly. they didn't try and sell me a bunch of junk i didn't need, or try and over charge me like some of the big neamed chains, they have tons of parts for upgrading or replacing, and amazing deals, honestly, I WILL NEVER GO ANYWHERE ELSE!!! seriously do yourself a favor and check them out, you won't be sorry read more

My Computer was working real slow and used to take long specially during log on and log offs. A friend recommended me to Micro Computer Center to get the machine checked. I must say that MCC was real quick in correcting my machine. They did some repairs in the computer and informed me proactively about it. For $111, I walked out with a computer working like new. It needed to be cleaned and new speakers installed. I got a virus on my computer and my first call was to Geek Squad at Best Buys....they wouldn't look at my computer without wanting to charge me $195! I read the reviews of Micro Computer Center on line and everyone said how happy they had been with the service...and I have to say now I AGREE!! I found Micro Computer Center on and gave them a call. I told the owner that my computer had viruses and needed to be cleaned up. Noori told me that they could clean up the computer as good as new, which he did. I would say the best place for any computer related services in town is micro computers for their wonderful service .I was in a fix after my pc crashed and all my work was in a complete hold stand still .I came here and the professional team fixed it in hours and it was really quick. I was very skeptical about not going with a well-known business like "Best Buy" if you will. HOWEVER, this place was VERY LEGITIMATE! My LCD screen on my laptop broke and they were very reasonable in fixing it, not to mention really professional! I went to this store and I noticed that they did not have those pestering employees at other computer shops that make commission.
