Ok here is the latest update, Well I am extremely pleased to say that Midas took care of my issue free of charge and lived up to a high standard that you just do not find in auto repair shops these days! Well i Have nothing but extremely good things to say about Midas ( Scott , Chel , and Danny ) are awesome people. When you go to this business you will be treated like a customer should be treated. To them customers are not just customers they are future friends they care about you and your car and they look at your car as if it was there own. Now Danny is an exceptional Mechanic, its a shame that there are not more mechanics like Danny he is very detailed and cares about his work and it shows. In my opinion he is one of the best Mechanics I have ever known. I have never allowed anyone to work on my vehicles but now that I am disabled I can not do the work anymore but I know that Danny will take care of my car and my future cars and I do not have to worry about being ripped off. They are not cheapest in town but they are the best. So expect the best from them you will not be disappointed. Do not expect perfection because no one is perfect but know this if they make a mistake they wont hide it and they will take care of the issue as they did me. They do go the extra mile so expect it. I've been going to this specific Midas location since October 2015. So far they take care of my 2001 Eclipse, have done over $3000 worth of work on our Chevy K1500, and all the maintenance work on our Chevy Cruze before we sold it. I can't express how happy I am with the service I receive here. There has never been a time I have left unsatisfied, and I'm always greeted in a welcoming manner when I come in. I honestly couldn't go anywhere else after the level of trust I have built with Chel and Danny. I can always count on them and their staff to take good care of my vehicles and to alert me when there are issues I'm unaware of (which I am grateful for). This is the best auto service I've had in 50 years of having cars serviced! Period! Chel and Danny were very friendly and knowledgeable. Danny described in through detail what they found, what they did, why they did it, explained the likely eventual results of not doing it, and did it all for a very reasonable rate. The mechanics have access to all the information the dealer has. They keep records on your car for future reference. Chel is very knowledgeable about the business end of car repair, and has information needed at her finger tips. They saved me money over the dealership due to the tests they run to see if factory recomended services are actually necessary. I recently stopped in the Bremerton Midas on N. Callow with an urgent request to replace the left turn bulb on an older Cadillac before commencing a long interstate drive. Chel, Danny and Ray were helpful. It turned out to be more work then anticipated as the bulb' socket was burned out. Fortunately, Ray was able to order a replacement socket from a nearby auto parts dealer, who promptly delivered to Midas. Overall it was about two hours on a very busy Saturday. I appreciated the effort that Midas made, especially as I turned up without an appointment. I felt Chel and crew are honest and straightforward and explained everything step by step as events unfolded. I would not hesitate to do business again at this Midas shop. read more

Midas, in Bremerton, was highly recommended by a friend when I was looking for a mechanic a year ago! His words were.... they're the only place I will take my car! Now this friend is a very particular person. He keeps his car so clean you'll think he has it detailed daily! So I know he makes sure it runs as good as it looks. So I gave Midas a try! They serviced my transmission, changed my oil and filter and some other things. Now a year later I'm back having them fix different problem I attempted to fix myself. lol. They fix my car and once again I'm a happy camper. I live in Port Orchard and only a few block away from another Midas. But now like my buddy put's it..... I'd say the owner of the vehicle should have called Midas to explain the repairs' identify the vehicle and leave a phone number to be contacted if problems arose. Shame on C.C. I've had tons of repairs done on my 1999 Ford Ranger 4x4; expensive ones and they bent over backwards to keep me informed, kept the costs close to the estimate and worked with me. Terrible shop. Installed the most expensive part that I declined instead of the one I accepted. They acknowledged I had just declined the part, attacked myself and my son as "mentally incompetent," demanded full payment, including their labor for their mistake; or they would put a mechanic's lien on my vehicle. So it can be expensive but they do good work. I tried to go to another business for cheaper but ended up going thru a 6 month hassle with not one but two businesses. I do not need the ulcers and Midas has always honored coupons and deals that I haven't always had on hand. They are friendly and honest and my only complaint is the cost but that's just car maintenance for you. read more

I have known Danny and Chel the owners for years. I will not take my vehicle anywhere else.They are two of the most honest, caring people I know and Danny is one heck of a mechanic, seriously this guy can fix anything! We had our radiator and thermostat replace, they did first class work. The thermostat had to be replaced at no fault of their own. It was under warranty and they covered everything. These folks are the best in the business. read more

Toyota said I needed my engine overhauled at $4000.00 because of oil loss. I took it to Midas in Bremerton and they found a leaky timing cover gasket. Cost me $160.00 to fix. Thanks to the new owners of Midas in Bremerton. read more
