Came in for a brake fluid flush but mechanic rotated two tires without my consent? Got home the next day in realize one of my lug nuts was different than the others? And I know for sure my car had all the same lug nuts. Came in to let them know about situation they informed me they didn't change the Lug-nuts on my car? Inform them I was there for a Blake brake flush should not have touch my tires. So if a different lug nut is on my car I'm going to assume that person did it. I'll be short. I was coming here for years because I felt welcomed. After another change in staff, this place has become a nightmare. I brought in my KIA twice and the problem was never solved. I ended up going to a KIA dealership. There was a man that helped me. I forgot his name. He was an older man. He was rude, whistled at me instead calling me by my name. When I brought my Hyundai to the dealer for a judder test to check on my transmission they did a full inspection and advised my to replace my brakes, including the rotors and my tires. They specifically said my rotors were warped and needed replacement for safety. That rotor replacement was going to be very costly on top of the brake job and tires. I'm all for safety, but I'm also for cost savings and therefore verification of work that would be costing me over $1300, not including the tires. So I looked around and found Midas on Carson and used a coupon for a free check. Not telling them anything other than please check the brakes, they found the pads needed replacement as expected but also found the rotors just needed reconditioning and were not warped. The total cost to fix the front and rear brakes and to replace all 4 tires (with good quality Goodyear Eco touring tires) cost me $1700 and change. I asked could they help me bring the cost down. Enrique Martinez who was helping me offered to cut an extra $50. That along with the Midas credit card of 12 months payment with ZERO interest helped tremendously! I came in today because i got a flat tire on the highway on my way to work. I stopped by to get my tire patched but the it was a slit in the tire and not a nail. The worker at the front desk was really kind and did help me out a lot, offering different kind of services and options for my car. I did go closer to them closing so I couldn't get my tire replaced but they did install my spare tire instead so i wouldn't mess up my rim. Overall, the experience was great and they got me in and out. Would definitely be coming back! read more

Do not go here. I had my brakes, drums and rotors done about a year and a half, paid over $650.00 I work 3 days in office rest at home. Lately I been hearing a little squeaking when stopping. Goes to Midas Saturday thinking maybe I need new pads since they are supposed to be lifetime. To my surprise the manager said I need new Drums. Wanted another $587. Mind you it hasn't been two years since I had them replaced. So either they played me when the work was supposed to be done. But I'm no fool. You can keep the pads. I will not allow you to play me again. I have no trust for these guys. Ladies be careful going to these crooks. Came here for an oil change. Usually we do our oil changes at home but due to work life and a newborn I needed to find somewhere to do it for me. I picked this place due to it being convenient for myself. Kinda assumed they were going to be overpriced but I was wrong. Their pricing is fair compared to any other place I know of in the near by areas. They were also able to get me in right away. The staff was super nice. Scheduled my car for oil change package, dropped it off 5 mins early and they said they can't work on it because they are super busy... left the vehicle and instructed them to call me for updates and if they can perform the following repairs and to give me an estimate. 6hrs later, and i had to call them myself for an update, they said no work was done with the car and i was basically waiting for nothing. 2 issues i wanted to get checked was the sticky gas pedal and a whirring noise at high speeds. They replied by "we don't know and cant figure it out" Any update would have been nice since i called off that day just to get maintenance on my car. On a side note while i was at the lobby, another customer had to point out that they checked off the maintenance list withpit doing the work (tire rotation on oil change package) so the mechanic had to pull the car back in and do the repairs. The only time they called me was to say "hi are you picking up your vehicle? We're closing and would have just kept your car in the garrage till the next day I've been coming to this midas for a few times now but i guess that day it was the younger mwchanics and different staff working, such a horrible experience read more

Oscar took a look at them and another technician older asian gentleman both SUPER nice and very HONEST! and literally showed me the condition of my Brakes along with explaining to me that they actually looked New! I booked an appt with this Midas shop after my dealership inspected my car and told me I needed my front and back brake pads replaced and resurfacing of both rotors. I had the pleasure of meeting Oscar, the shop's owner. He inspected my brakes and told me my brakes were still good and I didn't even need them or my rotors replaced! He legit saved me $600. Don't fall for their traps!!! This business offered me a coupon for oil change (synthetic blend) and refused to honor it on the grounds that supposedly my 2010 Malibu only takes full synthetic oil. I'm the only owner of this car and not once have i used synthetic oil. They mentioned that it's what the recommended manufacturer suggests, and yet my owners manual doesn't recommend or makes any mention of synthetic oil only. I took it to Oscar at Midas where they did an inspection and guess what, I don't need new break pads. Oscar saved me from spending so much money and I appreciate that. Needed to change the rear brakes and made an appointment online. Upon arrival Oscar informed me a brake inspection ($29.99) must be done before changing the brakes to ensure new brakes were definitely needed. If new brakes are needed, the brake inspection fee would be waived. So only come by if you KNOW you need new brakes. Since I needed to get new brakes, Oscar called me to verify if I was ok with the total costs. When I come back to pick up my car, the total for rear brakes and machining rotors with coupon was indeed the same as quoted over the phone ($205 out the door). Also requested a wheel alignment test and got the report for free. Oscar was very thorough. The staff was friendly and the job was completed within a reasonable time. I will say tho, the inside lobby has donuts and a seating area for people to wait for their cars but the seats are close and the lobby is small - they don't seem to be protecting against COVID-19 at all. After sitting in the waiting room for 44 minutes I see my car go up. Waiting and waiting in this room. What should have been a quick oil change. Turned into an hour so far. As of now it is 4:59pm. Needed to take a nail out of my tire. spoke to a gentleman at the front desk who stated it would take approximately 25 minutes. I wait in my car. approximately an hour they finally get to my vehicle and attempt to take off my tire a mechanic seems like he's been working for a few months ends up taking two hours to change my tire and remove the nail at no point did they check on me or ask me anything and the mechanic seem like he lost all his tools horrible. We had an appointment for 9am today 8/24/2022 and when we arrived the office manager was going to be late until 10:30, the office was closed, the mechanics could not work on anything until that manager came in. I had discovered that a rat had been under my hood when I saw chewed up rubber by my windshield wiper. I lifted my hood and saw droppings and nuts from a nearby tree. I saw no damage so I went out to run errands. My car started sputtering a little at first and then was nearly stalling. I was very nervous that maybe a wire got chewed and that it was cutting in and out of power. In fear I may be injured I came into Midas. I was treated very nice by the receptionist.
