These guys are great. I don't know much about cars and I'm comfortable with this Midas staff knowing that. They always get me out of there for as little money as possible (sometimes no charge) and have always been able to fix whatever issue I had going on. They also don't embarrass me in front of my girlfriend about my lack of car knowledge. Lol They educate me on things I can do to keep my car out of the shop so I haven't seen them in a few months. Like another fellow Yelper on here, I'm a little late on my reviews as well... but I honestly believe this is one of the best Midas locations in the area! Their technicians are proactive and will alert you of any issues before proceeding on work... This is very beneficial as it allows the consumer to find out a little bit more about their vehicle, and what needs to be performed and what should be notated. I upgraded my brake pads to a better model that included premium clips and a lot less brake dust! When they finished, not only did one guy get down on a knee and clean the rims up from their work, but they also spray down the tires with tire shine as well! These guys are awesome! What a bunch of amateurs they left my brake fluid cap off and my transmission cap off. Will never use them company again. I am so disappointed. I lost three hours of work. I use my car from my job. Worst customer service ever. Trying to get anyone to help you is like pulling teeth. There were at least 3 workers, no customers, and none of them looked up from their cellphones when I pulled in. I literally had to yell to get their attention. One worker begrudgingly went to the office to have me fill out paperwork. He kept asking me the same questions over and over like he was completely out of it. It took 1.5 hours just to get an oil change even though I had made an appointment and there were no customers. The worst part is they left a whole bunch of dirty, oily fingerprints all over the car that took forever to rub off. I stopped in to get something looked at on my car that Pep Boys would have charged $40 to do. I walked into the lobby and was greeted and the man at the counter said "well let's take a look!". He came out and checked under the hood, and other gentleman even came out and took a second look. Luckily, it was nothing serious and they said to come back if the problem got worse. Unfortunately although Gabby was very helpful, she stated that the technicians recommended that my brakes be fixed. She noted that they said there was damage to my disc brakes. My car has drum brakes. They were a riot to talk to. Very polite and to the point. Not like dealerships that see a woman in lipstick and try to hoodwink you. They were honest and kind to all of their customer. I witnessed an older woman come in to have her car checked. When she left they told me she comes in 4 times a week and forgets a lot so hey just take a look at the car for her on the house each time since it's running fine. Scheduled an appointment to have the back 3 spark plugs replaced, as I could not remove the boot by hand. I brought in the spark plugs, myself. I scheduled this appointment days in advance, and when I show up 15 minutes early for this appointment, I'm told that I'd have to leave it overnight and it should be ready tomorrow, because other people are ahead. Given the nature of unplugging three wires that are reachable without taking anything out or even moving anything out of the way, I would've loved to have known that it wouldn't be done the day I was told it would be. While waiting in the lobby, each customer that was rang out was sent off with an ominous warning about what will most likely go bad next and asked if they'd like to set that up now. I have been to this Midas 3 time. I will not go back. My appointment was at 11:00. I was on time. The manager, does not believe in masking or any social distance. 2 feet away and that is all. He states that an oil change takes 1 hour. It all started with my order. The new person did not write up a tire rotation. Which I mentioned when the appt was made and when I came into the location. The person who was going to work on the car, went and got the car. The vehicle sat for 45 minutes. It was now 1145. The new person said..."he's working on it". I was looking and looking at the vehicle and nothing was being done. No oil change, no tire rotation, nothing. When I raised hell, the manager told me, not to put down his employees and about the 1 hour for an oil change. The person that was going to work on the car, was texting o his phone and outside talking with a person, not doing his job. Too BAD. He told me to leave. The company changed my oil and did not charge me. Still love this place! Used the Midas last year for an oil change (Groupon) and received excellent service, and a coupon for my next oil change. Scheduled an appointment and came back, same great service and friendly people. Even honored the "any oil type" written in by a previous manager on the coupon. The gentleman at the desk also helped me look into some other repairs I had needed. In the mean time I watched them offer a free oil change to an older woman who walked in, helped explain service and (expensive) repairs kindly and early with apathy for the situation, and help get stuff rescheduled for a regular during a particularly busy day. I had my daughter who is going to college there take her car for an oil change on 1/31/2022. They ended up coming up with $3,500 worth of work. I declined and told them just to do the oil change. Took the car somewhere else where they didn't find any issues. That made me mad but what made it worse was scaring my daughter and telling her that the arms were really bad and she shouldn't drive the car. I visited this Midas today, July 24th. I had the worst experience. I was told that my alignment and oil change would not take more than an hour and a half. At the two hour mark, Mike, the desk employee started to tell me several things that came up in the inspection, which I appreciated. But, I needed a new air filter. Come to know, the delivery of the filter took more than 45 minutes. Then, I noticed that the mechanic working on my car was very dirty. When my car was done, he was the one to drive it out of the stall. When I got in my car, there was black grease everywhere. On the steering wheel. The driver seat chair. Hand prints all over my white car. And shoe marks on my SEAT! I brought this issue to the men at the front and they said they would clean it. Well I guess that ment cleaning with the greasiest wipes ever. After they rushed through "cleaning" it (skipping a double check), I was asked to come back out. Little did I know, there were still black marks all over my car and the inside was so greasy I had a hard time gripping my steering wheel. I am beyond frustrated with the work that was done, the sloppiness, lack of care, and mess. My car is a disaster now. Thanks Midas. read more

We came to this location for an oil change and my husband and I were extremely pleased. Michael and Nathan were extremely helpful. Nathan gave us an even better price for a full synthetic oil change than a Groupon we were going to buy. if I can give 0 stars trust me I would. Had an appointment at 10:30 am when I called they told me my car was going to be looked at when we come in. We got there for the oil change and they told us 1-1.5 hours it should be ready. No call or updates we walk in 1 hour and 10 min later and my car is still where I left it in the lot. When I asked how much longer they proceeded to say my car is next and that "they work on cars fast" we sat in the office for another 40 min and still wasn't even being looked at. Pretty sure the cars that were being looked at when we got there weren't even done. The girl at the front couldn't even apologize or anything when I asked for the keys and left. What's the point of having an appointment if 2 hours later the car wasn't even looked at? God knows how much longer it would have taken for them to change my oil. My husband and I still take our cars to this Midas! Mike and Keith are excellent at customer service and know their stuff about cars! My Toyota Corolla has recently had fan belt issues since February. Midas has replaced one of the belt for free because it was still making noise within a month. They have also tighten it down multiple times with extra checks and no charge for that. Can't say enough! Thank you!! This is an update, I still love this location! And I drive extra to get to it. They are reasonable, fair, and truly take care of the customer! Not to mention you want somebody who's working on your car with a brain. I take my car here all the time now! They take the time to show you what needs to be replaced and they've never made me feel stupid about my car. The guys are all nice and have a fun sense of humor, but Mike is the best! I always see him there and he takes care of my car and my husband's too. We came in this morning hoping to get an oil change on my husband's car and look into getting my car scheduled for an oil change and tires, and they said they were short staffed but we had time and they were able to get his car done in the morning while I was at work and mine in the afternoon. Stripped one of my lugnuts when they changed my tires and didnt bother to tell me. I found out a week later when I took my car somewhere less expensive to get the brakes done. They also had the two tires I needed, except when they went to put then on they had apparently sold them to someone else so I had to pay for 4 new tires. Best oil change experience ever. Purchased a $20 oil change off Groupon on scheduled an appointment about a week in a half. Super timely when I arrived- no waiting. Staff is really friendly, and not pushy. They took a look at my brakes without my asking and gave me a fair price quote for future. Oil change completed in record timing on a super busy Friday afternoon. The best part? A free ice cream sandwich (It's 120 degrees today). And they offered me pizza. No kidding. RIP OFF!!! I had a horrible experience with these clowns. Went in to get a power steering pump replaced, and was soon called back because my part was "defective". I was told it was the part, then it wasn't the part it was the rack, then it was the part AND the rack. With a $218 bill for a car that still didn't work, I argued until I was blue in the face and got off without having to pay. They guaranteed me that it would cost around $1500 to get a new rack and pump installed LONG story very short: After going to a REAL mechanic, I learned the reservoir for the power steering fluid was clogged. $15 part. I guess they were only off by about $1485 DOLLARS!!!! What a bunch of con artists. DO NOT GO HERE!!! read more

Can I say how amazing this place is!!! Gaby and Keith provided exceptional customer service and repairs towards my Nissan Altima. I went to pepboys and was told my exhaust hanger needed to be completely removed. Knowing this was going to cost me a pretty penny. Keith was able to align my exhaust hanger back instead of a full installation. On top of that he was able to identify a leak that was causing rattling and damage towards my car. Instead of doing another full installation he was able to weld the hold. Did I mention he only charged me $60 for all of this!!! I've used Midas in the past in CA for oil changes and brakes. This is my first Midas experience in the Tempe area. My truck was due for an oil change and tire rotation. I went in without an appointment and I was told the process would take about 30 minutes. There was another car already getting an oil change. I was glad I got in when I did. Shortly after I arrived, four more folks came in for an oil change. The wait time was about 2 hours when the last guy came in. Unless you get there when Midas opens, you may want to schedule an appointment to have your oil changed or take the chance your oil change may take several hours. During the oil change, the service agent notified of a possible issue with my truck. He showed me the issue when the truck was on the lift and tires being rotated. I was appreciative that he told me to keep an eye on the problem. There was no pressure to fix the issue on the spot. Staff was friendly and helpful. read more

I went to Midas (1050 East Broadway) for an oil change and tire rotation. The customer service was excellent. I had an appointment and they took my car in right on time. The service people were very customer service oriented and the mechanics were very efficient! The service man informed me that I needed a couple of new tires. It was clear to me that he was looking out for my well being and not trying to "sell me something". He offered to replace my tires but also gave me directions to a place near by that had sold the ties to me (not Midas). I am a female and I value honest service!
