I walk in and they say "chicken wing pizza?". That's 5 stars. Great atmosphere, always so welcoming, treat you like family, and food across the board is excellent. It's rare to find a restaurant that can master many different dishes. This is one of those restaurants!

This restaurant (3 Stars) has low acoustic ceilings helping to reduce noise. Lighting and temperature helped with a comfortable eating experience. The 80% cooked chop that had an uncooked section left me a bit disappointed. Everything else being good I commented to the waitress but nothing was done nor was she interested. Prices were fair considering today's inflation. Had they shown interest in food safety and any concern for me; I would have rated 4.5 Stars.

Middle Village Pasta and Grill on Mainstreet Middleburgh is a delightful dining spot that is a favorite among locals and travelers alike. The restaurant boasts two large dining areas, the front main dinning area along with a back room that can be curtained off for private parties. The meals are standard fair, a mix of Italian American. There are seasonal specials featuring appetizers and entrees. Pan seared scallops and steamed clams followed by my go to of late, the Prime Rib, a nice cut in Au Jus with a side of grilled veg. One of the owners Angela, runs the front of the house, often pulling double duty handling tables and floating around to check on the patrons with a smile. There's a great vibe with diners enjoying the food and their company. With large portions, it's always a good idea to leave room for dessert

Pasta & Grill is always a must for pizza night when I'm in the area! Their penne ala vodka is also one of my favorites.

We were not disappointed. We were seated promptly by our lovely hostess, and Shaun immediately came over to recite specials and to take our orders. He was attentive and we knew we were in good hands! We started with the Dr. Fox Cocktail: Angostura bitters, Bulleit Rye, Apple Liqueur, Dry Curacao, and Sweet Vermouth, which was perfect. It was accompanied by a hummus trio to spread on the bread. There was also a delicious foccacio. Next we were served a perfect salad, delicately dressed, and what made the salad so delightful was that the lettuce was torn into manageable pieces. A pet peeve of mine is large lettuce leaves that are difficult to wrangle, and this was not the case here. There were also tiny bits of cauliflower that gave the salad a nice texture and crunch.  I had the Stuffed Artichoke and my husband had Shrimp Gamberi on an Arugula salad. Both were substantial and beautifully seasoned. We had two glasses of an Argentine Tomero Malbec. It was a generous pour. For the main course, I had Polla al Limone (Lemon Chicken) over spinach. A simple dish done well. My husband had the Halibut special, a classic Mediterranean baked halibut with tomatoes, capers, and olives. So good that he finished it all...a rarity for him. (The halibut was pricey and it would be appreciated if the price was mentioned when the specials were gone over. Perhaps we should have asked.) We finished with a Sorbetto al Lampone, a tart raspberry sorbet in a dark chocolate shell and sliced.  And as we left, our sweet hostess brought over Lucianno, the most adorable puppy, to send us off with puppy kisses! We definitely will be back...especially for the wild boar ragu over pappadelles. One nitpicking observation. The entrance to the restaurant was a tad shabby. We mistook it for the service entrance. It needs to be spruced up to match the superb food inside!

Usually I like to pick what dishes are considered popular on Beli but I really wanted to try them, they're just too hot and not very satisfying to kick off your palate. The bread was okay, a little (very) messy and the hummus trio was cute but not necessary or particularly tasty. The pollo al limone and gamberoni e fagioli were good, a little dry but not a deal breaker. Service was nice, the place is pretty casual so I would recommend for a regular casual date night, it's not fine dining--the experience was nice but not luxurious. What I mean is it's cozy and inviting, not elegant and stuffy. Cheers!

Absolutely INCONCEIVABLE how amazing this place is! We…read morerecently stayed in the area for a youth baseball tournament in Cooperstown and ended up eating here THREE nights in a row--that is how phenomenal it is. The food is incredible. The owner and chef is immensely talented, serving up fresh, farm-to-table dishes. Because everything is so fresh, the specifics change nightly, but everything we ordered was a huge win. The beef carpaccio was dynamite, and the Prosciutto Pizza, house-made focaccia bread, "farm goodies," bolognese, hangar steak, and caprese ravioli were all absolutely delicious. You can taste the quality and care in every single bite. (Sorry no pics...we were too busy eating!) Beyond the stellar food, the cocktail menu is an absolute blast. They have a whole lineup of delicious, creative craft drinks with "The Princess Bride" themed names! Trying the different drinks became half the fun of our dinners. What truly sets this place apart, though, is the service. We had a server named Beth whom we absolutely loved. By the third night, she knew exactly what my daughter wanted to drink as soon as we sat down! The owners and the entire staff are warm, welcoming, and treat you like family. If you are anywhere near Oneonta or Cooperstown, do yourself a huge favor and eat here. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

It's an older house painted red with black trim, featuring a newer deck that, at least when we visited, had no furniture on it. At first glance, you might assume it's a neighborhood sports bar or a casual local hangout. Step inside, however, and you'll find something completely different. The atmosphere is warm, intimate, and inviting, with a classic dining ambiance that makes it feel like a hidden gem tucked away in the neighborhood. We were in Oneonta for Cooperstown All Star Village and were excited to discover this cozy farm-to-table restaurant. The food was excellent, and the setting made for a memorable dining experience. We started with the Crab Puffs, made with empanada dough, crab rangoon filling, and a jalapeño-green onion emulsion. They were creative, flavorful, and a great way to begin the meal. For our entrée, we shared the daily fish special, halibut served with farm-fresh potatoes and carrots. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the fresh ingredients really showcased the farm-to-table concept. The dish was simple, fresh, and delicious. To finish the meal, we shared the Crème Brûlée for dessert. It was outstanding, with a perfectly caramelized sugar crust and a rich, creamy custard that provided the perfect ending to an excellent dinner. Despite the restaurant being packed, we were seated immediately and received excellent service throughout the evening. The staff was attentive, friendly, and kept everything running smoothly. The drink menu was another highlight, offering a solid selection of craft beers, wines, and cocktails. Overall, this was one of the best meals we had during our trip. Great food, excellent service, a cozy atmosphere, and a unique setting make this restaurant well worth seeking out if you're in Oneonta.
