My wife and I loved everything about Midtown Bistro. This was our first time there, and we went with a group of nine (Santa Fe Foodies). The food and service were first-rate. The Calamari is very nice, and two great sauces accompany this lovely appetizer: chipotle aioli and habanero pineapple sauces. I had the delicious crab cakes, and my wife had the Salad Nicoise, which had superb rare Ahi Tuna. Both dishes came with fresh and lovely greens. Excellent! Our service was top-notch (thank you, Eli). The restaurant has a lovely interior. I would love to come back and dine on the patio, which wasn't opened today. We will certainly return and highly recommend Midtown Bistro.

Midtown Bistro is kind of hidden from the street, but it's located right next to Santa Fe Stone so you'll be able to see stone pieces in their patio which are so beautiful. We dined on the patio and the ambiance was absolutely lovely. You could hear the water trickling from the stone fountains and all the pretty flowers. It was a great spot for a date night and I can't wait to return. The food was fantastic and one of the most memorable meals I've had in a while because everything was a flavor explosion, but not overly done. We started with the calamari and it was some of the best I've had. The sauces were tasty but what I loved most was how crisp the squid were without being greasy at all. The half rack of lamb was a perfect amount for me and served with the tastiest truffle potatoes that were like whipped cream in consistency. The Swiss chard was also cooked nicely and paired so well with the dish. My boyfriend had the filet mignon that was to die for with a compound butter on top and paired with a delicious gruyere potato gratin. We opted for a dessert to go and the carrot cake was the perfect ending to our night. I can't wait to go back here!

Very good food, no complaints from our table. Great service. Tricky to find and unfortunately, just wine and beer, no liquor.

Patrons form a line to order, and signs on tables ask guests to order before settling into a table. Before we could give up and walk out, the owner/manager approached us at the Mille entrance with complete kindness, and he invited us to enter with the stroller to find seating before ordering. We were so surprised by his desire to accommodate the baby, and we accepted his generous offer, quickly finding a little corner table in the covered patio area at the back of the restaurant. Once the stroller was out of the way, I placed our orders, and we received our drinks quickly - a black hibiscus iced tea plus a creamy London Fog. Brunch followed shortly - croque Madame for me, veggie quiche for my friend, and a Nutella crepe to share. My taste of the quiche was super creamy, and the croque madame was as rich as expected. Crepe was lovely, though I wish they hadn't run out of eclairs, which are my favorite. We'll have to show up earlier next time - and there will be a next time! Thank you for the hospitality, Mille. The way you welcomed us, stroller and all, made all of the difference.

The place is popular, especially given very high quality of pastry products and the line is often a bit long (given so many locals/tourists stop by this place)...and simply..the place is one of the best pastry shops in Santa Fe. Parking is a little limited in their own parking lot and the shop is sort of crowded, but you can always park on a street outside (albeit some small parking fees). Overall, I really enjoyed the pastries here...although I think the drink (I got matcha latte...true, true, matcha latte isn't much of a western drink..so maybe I'm wrong to judge a restaurant by this drink) wasn't so much of my highlights. I would, definitely recommend this place for pastries for sure though!

Located in a quieter part in the edge of downtown, parking is usually pretty easy to find on-Street, and it's a few steps over to shops. The outdoor patio is secluded and quiet, and the indoors offers plenty of seating in a historic setting that's bright and fresh. On the food side, Palacio cooks their red Chile for over 8 hours, making it in my opinion one of the best and most flavorful in Santa Fe. Most other places I get Christmas style, but here, the red Chile is just perfect. On this trip, we had a smothered breakfast burrito and enchiladas suizas. Both were perfectly cooked, served hot, and resulted in another visit of what we expected from Palacio - great food and friendly service in what had quickly become our favorite Santa Fe restaurant.

We asked the waitress if handhelds were smaller and she said "oh, yes!". 4 of us ordered handhelds with various types of meat and one vegetarian. They arrived about the size of half a head. Still huge. Burrito's not folded on the ends. Loaded with meat, eggs, potatoes and cheese. They were so very good! I ended up opening mine up to eat the inside because it was really, really filling. The green sauce wasn't too spicy, but it was full of flavor. I'd recommend asking for the bologna to be crisped up, though, the flavor was great but it needed more texture. We also ordered the blue corn piñon pancakes full stack of 3. They were unique, worth a try but probably a one-and-done dish personally. More earthy and hearty texture than regular pancakes, savory flavor with a blue hue, and the piñons gave it a fun crunch. The maple syrup however was not a good quality, too sugary vs maple, which affected the overall dish's taste. The atmosphere is decent, and the service was friendly. Waited about 5 min for a table at 10:00am Friday. Overall I'd recommend Tia Sophia's, their breakfast burrito was excellent so definitely order it!
