I reached out to MM in August 2019 because I saw evidence of rodents in my little backyard. They came to the house and set traps (the enclosed box style) around the perimeter. MM field reps come to the house monthly to check, clean and reset the traps. Mecca & Michael are excellent field reps. They're professional, communicative and friendly. Seana is great too though I've only corresponded with her for scheduling. I wish there were a solution to rid my backyard of rodents entirely but I've learned that they are sly critters. This review is 4 stars only because the rodent issue is perpetual. I recommend getting a quote from MM for your trapping needs. read more

We had a mole making a complete mess of our yard. After calling a few different businesses and receiving vague answers/no call back and a ridiculously long time-line, I contacted Mighty Men. The woman I spoke to on the phone was very knowledgeable about the type of traps used (I have 2 kids and a puppy, so was worried about someone getting injured by a trap) and answered all my questions. Kenny came to our house, diagnosed the problem, and set traps in the active mole tunnels. He was very professional and knowledgeable, and took the time to show me how the traps worked. We must have had a smart mole, as it took a few visits and moving the traps around, but the Mighty Men crew finally caught him. Chachi & John also made service calls to check the traps and I found them all very professional. We'd been having raccoon troubles since putting in a small lawn. They love the grubs. We thought we could get rid of them by ourselves but when 6 little faces showed up at once I knew we needed help. Mighty Men did the job efficiently. Maria even came out herself on Sunday. Nothing happened Sunday night (well, 2 oppossum's which we released) but Monday night all 6 showed up and walked right into the traps. They were picked up Tuesday morning. I feel relieved that they will be treated well and released somewhere far away. A humane way to treat the fellas. Thank you Mighty Men. read more

We hired Mighty Men to take care of a raccoon problem at a rental property. They were quick to trap the raccoons but failed on the clean up. They said that they could replace any insulation that is removed but never did. They ended up closing up the area without replacing the insulation and failed to tell me. I had to call the co to see what exactly was done before they admitted that they didn't replace the insulation. So it seems to me that they were hoping I didn't notice that the insulation wasn't replaced. The co is now telling me the technician didn't have any insulation on hand to finish the clean up but he never communicated that to me before I agreed to the clean up service. Now they want another $800 to come back to replace the insulation and charge for 4 hrs of labor. If I had known that they could not complete the job and would charge me again to come out I would never have hired them for the clean up. They also said that the owner would contact me to discuss but she never did. Poor customer service. read more

We hired this company to address gophers in our yard. The company has been very nice and easy to work with overall. However, they were ultimately ineffective with addressing the gophers and were not able to trap any after 2 weeks. The payment plan isn't based on the successful capture of the gophers. We are reluctant to pay for the same service. The tunnels and mounds are advancing into our property and we have hired a different company that specifically address gophers. We will see if a different company is more successful. read more

I am sad to write a negative review of Mighty Men, but their response and communication have been terrible. We called for an estimate on work to remove a family of raccoons living in our ceiling. We paid for the estimate ($99) but had to call three different times to have the estimate sent to us. When we called, the rep yelled at us for asking for the estimate and for asking why it was taking so long to receive! What a strange business model - yell at people trying to hire you for a big job?! Bummer. We liked that they are women-owned and liked that the person who came to do the estimate worked hard to investigate the building. read more

Would give zero stars for the absolute awful woman that answers their phones. Their "crew" came out to remove a nest from our rafters and repair some grates. My mother was here to deal with the crew since I was working when they came. They removed a nest with no birds in it and left the nest with the live birds in the next grate over. All they had to do was look to the side and they would have seen what they were ACTUALLY supposed to remove. Total amateur hour. I called back to talk to the business about the job and the woman answering the phones was one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to. As I was explaining the situation (obviously frustrated that we paid an exorbitant amount for a 5 minute job that wasn't really completed) the woman started cutting me off and speaking to me in a horrible manner. All we wanted was to have the correct nest removed, not a hard job, but the woman just started making excuses about why she thought the job was done correctly. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Do NOT expect much from these folks. And if you can, avoid them entirely. And if you have to call them, do not expect any decency from them. Horrible experience from start to finish. I hope they are happy with my money, I won't deal with them to fix the job. I'm willing to go to another company to finish the job just so I don't have to deal with the lady coordinating their jobs again. read more

I want to echo what some of the other reviewers here have said about Mighty Men - they have treated me like family and I could not be more thankful that I found them. After discovering rat feces in my water heater closet along with mouse feces under my furnace closet, I was horrified, and although I had not seen rodents in my actual condo I knew I had a serious problem. I live alone and although I am very self reliant, I knew I needed heavy duty help with this situation. Mighty Men was the most thorough pest control company that I contacted. If it wasn't for Maria, I would not have known how important it is to get to the source of the problem which could be the attic or the crawlspace. To be honest I don't even think my condo maintenance or condo board were even aware of this. In my condo community we are all so thankful we found Mighty Men, and I hope they will now be servicing other units. Not only was their work thorough, they clearly know what they are doing, and they take pride in their work, which are all things I look for. I rarely write reviews but Maria and her team more than deserve this. Rodent extermination is an ongoing process and one that I am only just starting with Mighty Men as I have a pretty bad situation going on in my attic which we only just discovered, but they are committed to helping me solve this problem, and I am more than committed to keeping up my end of the solution being proactive to inspect traps and listen for activity/noises. Yes they are a business but I never once got the sense they are trying to oversell me anything. Anything they advise is based on their extensive experience and knowledge of extermination. And Maria and her team also really care about the animals, they are not out to just kill everything. This is also very important to note. In my experience they want to work you as the home owner to solve the issue. I can't thank Maria and her amazing techs enough, especially Uri, who is just out of this world fantastic with his work. Our Technician (Kevin) was very professional and easy to work with and immediately found a solution to remove the one skunk but also to fix our issue such that the skunks would not return. These guys are wonderful. We had a dead rat in a well under a cemented in grate in our basement laundry area. Maria returned our call within minutes, both she and Roger came out to take a look on their way home from a job in SF that evening in order to figure out what tools would be needed to make the grate accessible. The following morning they returned exactly on time. Roger cut the concrete on the perimeter of the grate, gained access to the rat, removed it, sterilized the area, etc. They were wonderful about dust protection of the surrounding areas while the grate was cut out. The terrible stench was gone and all was well with the world. These guys are real pros, very personable, lovely, kind, and caring as well. I hope we never need such services again, but if so, we have no doubt about whom we would call. read more

I called about bats in my attic and talked to Maria. She was super helpful and squeezed me into her already packed schedule the next day to begin the exclusion process. Maria walked around our home and helped to educate my husband and I on how bats work. When we found a second entrance a few days later, they came back out and installed a second door before finishing the job at the end of the week. I have never written a Yelp review before but I feel that this company deserves a shining review for their compassionate, knowledgeable, prompt, affordable and thorough service. Our neighbor had a very old deck removed in June and the rats that were residing underneath her deck decided that our house would make an excellent new home. Our pest control company was helpful to a certain extent with setting traps but the problem continued to the extent that the rats were in our kitchen and behind our couches. My husband sealed several tiny entry points but the problem continued. I was extremely upset and at my wit's end. My husband and I realized that our rat situation was out of our control and we needed to reach out for professional help. Yesterday I called Mighty Men who services the Pleasanton area. I spoke with Maria who was very kind, knowledgeable and understanding of our situation. She scheduled a technician to come out this morning. On a Saturday! Jerome arrived this morning. On time! He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and kind. He helped us locate other areas of possible entry and he and my husband sealed them all. After Jerome left I spoke with Maria and she was truly pleased that we had such a great experience. It is apparent that this company really cares about their customers and their satisfaction. Having tried to eradicate mice in the garage, called in this company when we were "invaded" in our living space. Three different people on 3 different day, came to inspect, set traps, and finally the 3rd person placed fine mesh screening around plumbing that extended from the garage to our kitchen. Each person showed up on time, was professional, and did what was necessary to eradicate the problem. In addition, they were the only company I found in my area that was available within days, and not weeks! I would strongly recommend this company! read more

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! these reviews must be be fake. They sent out one person to set up traps and "seal the house". Reviews made it seeem like they guarantee removal of rodents. The one person they sent out was aLways late, she left in the middle of service because she needed to go to Home Depot to "get more supplies" after only being here for an hour and then took 2 hours to come back. It was close to 9pm at that point so we asked to her come back a different day. She took a total of less than 5 hours to "seal the house" after completion. Not to mention she knocked something loose under our sink and caused a leak that we had to pay for to fix. We are still hAving a rodent problem and when we called to ask about them coming back, the owner Maria was extremely rude and said they never guaranteed the rat problem would be gone. She also mentioned they would need to charge more for an additional "package, even though the problem was never taken care of in the first place. Terrible company. I wish we would have went with a legitimate more reputable company. Yelp seems to have tons of fake reviews lately. read more

Mighty Men has been wonderful! We had a raccoon problem in the attic of our house. Additionally, "our" raccoon had babies. To make matters worse, this occurred on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. We called Mighty Men late Friday and Maria called us back and she said someone would be at our house on Saturday! John, our technician was wonderful. He was knowledgeable and professional. He tried different ways to get our mama raccoon to leave and he ended up spraying some mountain lion urine in the attic. Our raccoon ended up leaving and she took each of her five babies with her. John sealed up the hole into the attic as well as other holes that allowed vermin to enter our house. It was 100 degrees outside when John was here and I am sure it was over 120 degrees in the attic but he Never complained and he just continued to work. We are so thankful for John and Maria and the great speedy service that Might Men provided! We highly recommend them. read more
