Replace the first floor baseboard with high output baseboard. Peter measured the job up and returned with Christian another day to complete the work. I admit I was impressed with the concern that was paid to how each peice was installed. A level and tape measure was used on each peice of baseboard to insure that when completed the entire run was the same height and on the same plain. Each cover was trimmed if needed so it fit together properly. When they were done they cleaned up after themselves and even helped me put my things back, which they didn't have to do. I could say I'm happy with the work they did and leave it there. The truth is I'm really impressed with the work did, it came out more beautiful than I hoped. They showed more attention to detail than they had to, and the price was very competitive. Its been 7 years and Pete is still doing really prideful work. I had two problems that needed to be addressed. I had a fairly new toilet that hadn't been set…read moreproperly and was moving around the floor and leaking. Also, the cold water stopped working in my shower, making the shower unusable. I lost my husband this year and am never sure about what to do when things go wrong in the house, since I never had to address those problems in the past. I called 1-Tom and they made me feel completely confident about my choice. Right from the start, I liked the fact that they answered the phone and I didn't have to keep pushing buttons to get to the right person. I was told that they stood behind all their work and they would make sure I was satisfied with the outcome. Before Alex came to my home, I received a photo of him. He was confident and friendly and I immediately felt I was in good hands. Originally it looked like it was going to be a bad situation with the toilet and that the floor might have to be torn up. Alex showed me what the problem was and I could now see why the toilet couldn't be installed correctly in the first place. Alex called his boss and discussed what needed to be done. He was able to do it without damaging the floor, which was a huge relief. I trusted that 1-Tom did the best job possible for me while avoiding major repairs. There were 3 jobs we needed done. A swap out on our kitchen faucet. It was installed completely wrong & the faucet didn't turn from right to left it turned from middle to back and it was not secured to the granite and was loose. Next we needed a pedestal sink removed and a small vanity installed in our bathroom. I bought a beautiful brand new $600 vanity that they broke! The initialin installation looked like a complete mess when the were done. Sloppy mess of a 2 inch space filled with uneven caulk. I didn't look professionally done at all. We asked them to come back and correct the problems. For 3 hours he worked on fixing the caulk but there was lots drilling & cursing etc and when my dad went in to check what was going on the plumber was watching YOUTUBE plumbing video I'm assuming to try to figure out how to fix the vanity. At 1st glance it looked like the vanity was in correctly but then that night I noticed that the drawers were no longer sitting straight. Upon further inspection he BROKE one of the vanity drawers and caulked it back together and it isn't even connected to the vanity. So now we will need to completely replace this brand new vanity and pay someone else to properly install it. Third we had a water heater leak that we wanted corrected and they told us on our heater it couldn't be repaired which we understood BUT they made the leak 5x worse that it had been when they arrived. In addition to the issues with the sub par work these guys also say in their vans outside my house for extended periods of time, playing on their phones, one of them for a solid hour and charged us for that time. This can be seen in the video footage on my ring app. When we called they let us know someone would be out to fix the errors and we asked to have different plumbers sent. They sent the same guy. I cannot tell you how much I regret using this company. Sav On did not supply us a competent worker. I cannot stress enough how incompetent the worker was. We are shocked that an insured company is refusing to cover the damages. Refusing any sort of refund. Do NOT use this company under any circumstances.

I called Joe at 5 on a Friday, and he got someone out to me at 8AM Saturday. It was a little more complicated than expected, and he sent his guy out Sunday too, to fix something. After the gas people came back to explain their work, Joe and Pete found the issue, located a gas leak in the crawl space, fixed it, hooked the stove back up, helped me figure out a broken fixture, and finished up in a little over an hour. (As soon as I heard "gas leak in the crawl space" I was bracing for weeks of no stove and expensive work, but this wasn't the case.) In all, pricing was reasonable, response was always fast (by phone and in person), my stove works, and they made sure everything done by an iffy handyman was no longer dangerous. In my search for plumbers, I noticed that all area plumbers had mixed reviews. Also, as he was leaving it came up that he knows my uncle and does work for him, and my uncle is a SUPER diligent perfectionist about home repairs and safety, and my uncle would definitely only use a great plumber.
