It's literally everything you could want in customer service at a counter. Yes, the ambiance is bit crowded and a bit hectic. I don't envy trying to get a seat in the dining room because everything is but cramped up in there. That being said, I don't think anyone waited longer than fifteen minutes and folks seemed genuinely glad to be there. It's the price you pay for eating at a popular breakfast spot with breakfast entrees this delicious. Plus, eating at the counter always seemed open. And from someone who hates eating at counters most of the time, that's saying a lot that I would suggest it as a viable option. I have been a loyal customer of Miguel's Jr. for more than 40 years, but they have officially lost my business. I have ordered Miguel's Jr. on GrubHub at least once a week for several years. But a few months ago they removed the option to provide 'Special Instructions' and now I can't order my food the way I like it, so I won't order again. I have always ordered taquitos with the guacamole on the side, but now that I am unable to do so, they arrive a soggy mess! Also, I love the Española Sauce they put on their rice and always order extra, but I can't do that either. I contacted customer service to discuss the matter 2 or 3 times, but never received a return call. This is precisely the reason companies go out of business. When you put such a low value on customer satisfaction, you lose their business... even customers who have been loyal for 40+ years. Very disappointed! They used to be such a great company. Perfect example of what happens when a company gets too big. Customer satisfaction becomes a thing of the past! read more

The Miguels Jr chain is fine as long as you don't want to alter anything from its standard presentation. Ordering a burrito without cheese, rice and beans was served to go incorrectly three consecutive visits and even when I sent a photo proving the errors, this chain won't take responsibility and ultimately told me that Miguels and I were not a fit and not to come back. Albertos, Albertacos and especially Santana's have better food (hand-made tortillas) and make sure their customers are happy and their orders correct. read more

love the food, especially the shredded beef tacos. Absolutely delicious (a bit oil - but I like em that way). Only pitfall is their packaging. Really inconvenient to pick up lunch fom there and take it to work, just to open a bag of silled mess (their containers open up almost every time). I go here at least once a month, and I must say the food is really good. I get the garbage burrito w/shredded beef and it is delicious! I always fills me up so I don't rally spend much money either. The burrito itself is around the $5-6 range so it's not cheap, but you get what you pay for. read more
