I ordered 2 wet burritos, the chili was still raw.. the burritos where cold and the cheese was not melted on my wet burritos..This happened another time and I called your Corprate office to complain I saved the burritos in my refrigerator so if need be i would take them in to show them, how raw they where..the guy that answered the phone said just throw them away thanks for calling!! What no refund nothing!!! so this time I was not going to throw my money away..The lids on the salsa where not put on correct do I had salsa all over the bag.. On Feb 28, 2021, my wife and daughter and I visited this Miguel's Jr. on Van Buren ave. We used the drive thru and ordered two No. 1 dinners one with chicken and one with beef and a single shredded beef taco. A simple order we thought until we pulled over to the side if the road to eat and it was here that we discovered our taco shells were not cooked, or deep fried. Our taco shells were simply taken from the tortilla pkg, treated with taco fixins and served as such. The tacos were so poorly made that they fell apart from the cheese and lettuce before we even tried to make a bite of it. One star. read more

I had the cashier READ to me my order when I picked it up because the manager Luis, who was outside to take my order, seemed indifferent when he tried to correct my order by telling me he was going to give me a bean, cheese burrito with a side of rice. Ok? I said 'No, that's not what I said. The receipt was correct. The rest of my order was correct. Then after a very long wait through a line, and a long drive home, i find my order is wrong after all. I call and the manager and Luis picks up. He is very busy, taking orders outside and answering the phone too. He told me I must have gotten someone else's burrito. I love every Miguel's Jr. equally! This location is new with plenty of parking and conveniently located off Van Buren Blvd. I've eaten inside the restaurant and gone through the drive-thru and experienced minimal wait times in both. My go-to meals here are the shredded beef nachos, bean and cheese burrito and just this morning I tried the green pig breakfast burrito and it did not disappoint: pork marinated in green chile with potatoes, eggs and beans. Either you hate or love Miguel's Jr and I'm a lover of this fine dining establishment. My friends and I could survive off their bean and cheese burritos and have taken them to go on road trips to hold us over. Been several times and again this last Sunday. But we won't be going back. The place is clean and the staff are very friendly. However the food has become tasteless. All of it - tasteless. The guacamole was laughable really, as if it were made with some kind of a filler and whipped. Light green and almost fluffy. No texture or flavor whatsoever. I used to enjoy their taco salads! They removed the chips at the bottom which I enjoyed eating like nachos but felt healthier since it was a salad. Their new taco salad was just ok. The shredded chicken was just ok. I don't think it was worth $9.35 for. Anyone could prob get the ingredients for this and make multiple meals for the same price. And plus they forgot the avocado!! I ate there 3 times in the last 3 weeks. The first 2 times I got the Carne Asada Breakfast Burrito. The first time it was good, since it had plenty of meat and eggs on it. But the second time it didn't have enough meat and eggs. But it had too much refried beans, which made it soggy. The third time I went there I ordered a Carne Asada Garbage Burrito. And I intentionally ordered it with very light beans, since I didn't want it to be too soggy to soak through their thin Flour Tortilla. It didn't have light beams, so it immediately soaked through the middle of the tortilla. And it looked like garbage! So I asked for an extra Flour Tortilla to double wrap it. Their homemade Chips are just average, but not as fresh tasting as some of their competitors. And their Guacamole is thin with no chunks of Avocado or any other vegetables in it, like some others. So I didn't like its flavor and thickness. None of their burritos have enough flavor without adding one or more of their salsas. And they don't even have Pico de Gallo like most Mexican restaurants! The few times I went to any Miguel's JR. with my wife who bought it for me, I thought their food was just average. And most of it is overpriced. Its Mexican food quality is also not very authentic. So if you like authentic, good quality Mexican food , do not go to any Miguel's Jr. restaurants. Since the only thing with the correct name there is their Garbage Burrito! read more

Living in the Inland Empire for so long, I've heard so many people in the area talk about Miguel's Jr. But I've never tried the place, mainly because of how most of the locations were a bit out of the way for me. This place opened up by Gamble/Van Buren, so I guess it was inevitable that I try this place. Place is clean, looks like any other newer restaurant. Family and I ordered an original shredded beef burrito ($5.49), an original chile verde burrito ($5.29) and a carne asada potato burrito ($7.39). First thing I noticed when I was driving home was how small the burritos were. Burritos were fat, but definitely smaller compared to any local mom and pop chain around the area. Rice and beans were very flavorful, doesn't taste like filler compared to other spots. Meat quality was also good, chile verde was served in chunks and was tasty. Carne asada was a bit tough, but flavorful, definitely a step up from the steak that you'd get at other spots. Expected more from the potatoes since they were supposed to be marinated, didn't really taste anything different. While the food was good, it was the portion size that really killed it for me. $7.39 for a small burrito that still leaves you hungry is disappointing. Not only that, there was way too much rice and beans, barely any meat in any of our burritos. Too many times, you'd take a bite and just get rice/beans or potatoes/cheese. If they could put bigger portions of meat in their burritos, I could see myself coming back. The quality is definitely there, but I'm turned off by their portions to keep coming back. read more

This review is not about the food....the food has always been great. My go to is either BRC burrito Wet or Original burrito with Asada Wet. Never been disappoint with food....however, they seem to constantly forget items in the drive-thru. They ask how many hot sauces and they never give the quantity I asked for. Also I always ask for extra onion and cilantro on the side and they forget that too. This hasn't only happen once or twice....many times.
