I've been getting their bean & cheese burrito since high school and it's stayed exactly the same: simple, classic, and sooo delicious I literally haven't switched up my order in YEARS! Okay... sometimes I go back and forth between: Bean & cheese Bean, cheese & rice But no matter what, I ALWAYS pair it with a shredded beef taco loaded with meat and sooo much cheddar cheese (the best part ) And don't even get me started... I'm a big fan of Miguel's and have gone to the location in Orange for years before one opening just down the road from me. I am a huge fan of their shredded chicken or beef taquitos and their crunchy tacos! Unfortunately, this location just hasn't lived up to the hype of other locations. The taquitos are still good, but the portions have been shrinking every time we order. The rice and beans are such a cheap filler, so cutting back on those feels like robbery! The serving of guacamole and sour cream has also shrunk over time. Last time we stepped out of our comfort zone and ordered something totally new (garbage burrito) and unfortunately it came with the wrong meat and was basically cold! Just such a bummer. The service has always been fine. Never a complaint about the team or any interactions with staff, but also nothing to report about going above and beyond either. It really feels like they're a few small fixes away from being great. I'm rooting for them to get back to what I believe them to be :) read more

Miguel's Jr has been on my restaurant list to try. I just haven't been able to get here until I finally did. Funny, I drive by this place in Upland on the weekends all the time. Anyway, I came here with my eldest daughter. We went through the drive-thru... too lazy to get out of the car LOL. Free parking available on the right side of the restaurant. Please note the left side is where the cars will be coming out from the drive-thru. Ordering through drive-thru was easy. I did ask some questions since it was my first time here. Drive-thru staff was cordial and patient with me. Thanks! Menu got it covered from breakfast (served until 11 AM) to lunch to dinner with burritos, tacos, taquitos, signature bowls, favorites (nachos, quesadilla, tostada, taco salad), specialties (taco, bowl, pancakes), combo plates, snacks & sides, handcrafted beverages, and desserts. Now that's a great menu of goodness! We got a good variety of items because I wanted to try a little of everything. I didn't get everything, but you know what I mean. Chips & green salsa was complimentary. Thanks! Here's my take on the goods... ~Nachos with chili verde pork = flavorful pork and good amount of beans and cheese, will get again! ~Street taco with shredded chicken = chicken was a tad mushy, but still good ~Taquitos with shredded chicken = comes in 3, love the crispiness of the taquitos, chicken hits the spot, great choice! ~Traditional taco with shredded chicken = winner, winner, chicken dinner! This place is nostalgic for me, which is the only reason why I come back. I always take me back to the good old days. The bean rice and cheese is always the fave, but when you can. I ordered the taquitos combo and they thoughtfully packed everything separately so the taquitos wouldn't get soggy from the beans--something I didn't even think of, but was SO grateful for. Everything is fantastic every single time, from the always-delicious food to the drive-through customer service (they are on it). This location is newer and I almost forget it's here and I don't have to go to the Ontario location by the 60 freeway. I finally visited this location for the first time 2 Sundays ago and it was great. We went in the afternoon and there were maybe two other parties dining in. The employees are young, fast and polite here and for the most part this location is very clean. I stopped in yesterday since they had a sale on their taquitos and picked up a taquito plate for dinner. I found out about the sale through a text from a friend, but if you follow their Instagram or sign up for their text messages you can keep up with all the deals they're offering and when. I walked in and before I could see anyone at the counter I heard someone ask if they could take my order. Diego was really polite, thorough and so were the other employees working on Tuesday evening. A female employee brought my order to my table along with my salsas and I could hear a 3rd gentleman taking drive-thru orders and he was really happy and courteous to everyone that pulled up. Every Miguel's I've been to, the staff are working hard and are great at customer service, but this location really goes above and beyond. As for food, my favorites are the taquitos, the El potato burrito with chicken, the nachos and a simple bean, rice and cheese burrito is always a great to hold you over. I love their red sauce and they have a soda machine on the dining room floor so you can get free refills. Overall, this location is my favorite out of all the locations I've been to. read more

I was in the area so I looked up nearby Miguel's and guess what I found? This Miguels has a drive thru and indoor and outdoor seating . I used the drive thru. Larger or modified vehicles might have a tight fit in the drive thru, but I saw parking available in the back. My order ? A kids bean and cheese burrito meal with strawberry horchata. The strawberry horchata has whole strawberries inside which is a nice surprise when you get to the end of your drink. I miss the old cups. The new cups are thin to hold. The reason for this one star is because of the size of my asada burrito. I have visited different Miguel Jr locations and this one by far ripped me off with this small burrito. The other locations give you a way bigger burrito. The customer service was great, the girl behind the register was nice but as far as me recommending this location, avoid it unless you like paying 12 bucks for a small burrito. read more

Friendly staff... went on a late Thursday evening For years I've been getting garbage burritos. Steak is great, and their pork verde version is really good too. Chicken is too plain for me, but healthier option. Their red sauce is bomb. A lot of fresh tomato flavor and oregano accent. This is always in rotation, and I live an HOUR away in La Crescenta. I've wanted to try this chain for awhile now because folks have said it's a noticeable upgrade over a Bell or Del. And it certainly is. The Chile Verde burrito was pretty good--good size, good meat quality, a lot of beans and cheese. I think it'd be great on a day when I wanted a quick and dirty set of tacos or burrito. The problem is if I have a bit more time there are other chains, one in particular, that I just like a bit more. And it's only a $1 of $2 more expensive. I just don't see a usual situation I would be coming back often here. It's ten miles too far, equivalent quality as other taqueria type places, and its biggest strength, its convenience, is rendered useless because of the distance. The service was good, better than most similar-size chains. If only it was five miles from here instead of fifteen. read more

The food is always hot, delicious, and at a super affordable price which is so appreciated! (*Order the BRC burrito with refried beans instead of the pinto beans it comes with because it is much better that way!) My favorite aspect of this store is William, who has that personality that makes my day. I am guessing he owns this location because his attitude is always great and you can tell he is all in. New location in upland now open! Visited with some friends to prepare for Thanksgiving. The owner was present today, so sweet & friendly with each guest checking in at every table serving us and welcoming every guest that walked through the door. What a warm welcome from all the staff here. They really took pride in their workplace and made everyone feel like family. Clean and organized inside and out with a burrito photo op by the entrance. Parking available around the perimeter with drive thru. Great to see this location have such a great response. There was a buzz of guests enjoying some good comfort food. Ordered the chicken and shredded beef traditional tacos and BRC burrito. The shredded beef was excellent. Flavorful and juicy with the perfect spice from their homemade salsa. I was really excited that this restaurant opened today at 7 am!!! I was here at 4:55 am to be the first customer!!! To my surprise, only one other sweet person, a lady named Cindy and the people that did the balloons were around when they opened. It was decently cold so one of the guys let us in and gave us free coffee! When 7 am finally hit, Omar the awesome shift leader took my order. This guy knows his customer service and hospitality! As the 1st customer, I ordered the 3 taquitos combo which includes rice,, beans, and a fountain drink. I got the shredded beef taquitos! Yum!!! I love their red and green salsas, and the best dip was the guacamole that I dipped the taquitos in!!! To wash down my breakfast taquitos, I had a raspberry iced tea. I also ordered acarmel iced coffee. Everything tasted so good, so delicious. I also ordered two tamales to go and a relleno burrito, no meat all for my daughter's lunch and to share with a friend. Before I left, I refilled on the caramel iced coffee, no whip and the raspberry iced tea. Overall, this was such an excellent first visit!!! The staff here was so super friendly and I was so grateful for the hospitality while I was here from 7 to 10 am. I pray and hope for the best for this restaurant to stay here for good and I will definitely keep coming back. Automatic high recommend for all to Please come visit as soon as tou can!!! read more

This spot does not suck If you remember La Salsa or Baja Fresh it has the same energy but with better food. The staff on my visit was nice and helpful since it was my first time. The food was good and the garbage burrito was decent size. I also appreciate that they don't put too much lettuce into the burrito. The place does lose a star for charging for a water cup. That's a clown shoes move The ambiance is kinda generic but the place was clean so that was good. I also appreciate that they manage the drive thru line in a way that doesn't impact your ability to park. The Food at Miguel's Jr. restaurant is so delicious. I came by on Cinco de Mayo and it was really delicious I enjoyed the burrito with chips and guacamole on the side do a quick survey get the guacamole and chips for free. I think this is the second review I've ever written. I use yelp to look for good restaurants/fast food in the area but never to write a review simply because I'm just to busy in life. but today I felt compelled to take some time from my busy schedule to write review. It ain't a good one either. I've been to Miguel's jr a few times because it's local, fast, and the food is decent. I remember thinking that the drive through customer service has always kinda sucked. Homeboy has an attitude with zero personality. I never really cared because I'm here for the food not his personality. Today I got the same attitude at the drive through which again I look past but when I was driving up to the window I realized that I forgot my wallet at home. I quickly called my wife before I even got to the window to tell her to send me money on Apple Pay to my phone. She's always quick and does so within about 30 seconds. When I pulled to window the dude told me the total and I replied "hey brotha can you give me a minute my wife is sending me money on my Apple Pay. Money should be ready in about 30 seconds" he looked at me and asked me to drive around the parking lot until the money is sent. WHAT!!!! MIND YOU there is no one else in the drive through behind me, it's just me!!! I told him again the money should be in my account in a few seconds but he still insisted that I drive a round until money was ready and gave me some shit excuse about a drive through time limit. I rolled my eyes and proceeded to pull forward about 5 feet and the notification came in that the money was sent to my Phone. I then reversed back to the window and told the guy "I told you it would be quick" no apology, no my bad from burly man he just stuck his tap square out of the window for me to pay. I looked at him and asked him to explain their stupid policy about time limit again. He just said well we just don't allow that and handed me my food. I told him it didn't make sense to me and that I've never heard of that in my life, and I've been to a thousand fast food spots. Im not sure if he was bullshitting me or that really is their stupid policy but either way being that I was the only person in drive through and I literally told him the money was being sent any second homeboy should be a little more considerate. Im totally KARENing this post but whatevs last time I go here and have a few peeps that love this place. All I got to do is tell them this story and yo that's a wrap don't go there. Done deal. Get some better customer service this spot will fail. You just lost several customers tonight because you want to act like a douche bag. Way better Mexican spots around this area with better service and kind manners. Your location sucks anyways. read more

Where do I even begin? The customer service was horrible, and the food was just as bad (see attached photo). We ordered one order of taquitos, and instead of simply handing it to us at the window, they told us to park by a stop sign where another car was already waiting. This forced us to block traffic so their drive-thru could stay open--completely illogical and frustrating. As for the food... the picture speaks for itself. This was my first time and probably last time going here. I ordered a relleno burrito in the drive through. I then had to wait 10-15 minutes for it even though there were only two cars in front of me. Then when I finally got my food, it wasn't even a relleno burrito, it was just a normal burrito.
