Called at 4:48pm to inform the shop that I was leaving to pick up a key for a car that had repairs…read morecompleted, and indicated I would be there in approximately 15 to 20 minutes. I arrived at 5:08 and the individual that I had just spoken to was gone, and the shop was closed even though the website states they are open until 5:30pm. Therefore, although the car was finished, it could not be picked up as agreed upon. Upon calling this morning, he was less than apologetic and inaccurately said he left at 5:15 ( he stated was according to his clock) due to a family emergency with "elderly parents," despite sounding less than sincere about that, and stated he "forgot" that I was coming. Additionally, he indicated that he was not aware that their website says they are open until 5:30 PM since he stated they apparently close at 5 PM. Furthermore, do not expect to leave any phone messages since their phone system does not allow for messages to be left upon their closure, as only a fax signal ensues rather than phone message capability.

But when I have an issue that I can't solve or diagnose, these guys will figure it out, then hand my truck back over and allow me to perform the repair. There are shops out there that will not do this, which is not right. They insist on doing the repair job and charging an astronomical labor fee, plus double what the OEM parts actually cost. Don's Auto will diagnose and then hand my vehicle back over to me as I prefer. I value this and will gladly return the business, also allowing them to handle the big jobs like timing belts. Ugh!
