So mid and over priced. Never have been to a place that doesn't serve fries with a lobster roll. $30 for a lobster roll- fine price extra $3 for fries. Clam chowder was one of the worst I have ever had. Coconut shrimp was delicious, so severely overpriced- $17 for 6 pieces. Paid $60 for 3 things, not including the $17 drink. Place gives stingy, tourist trap will not be back.

Early dinner during the week. Was seated right away in one of the booths. Server came quick. Menu looks like it was updated, decided to have the seafood scampi. Entrees came very quick which delighted us. Guess we got on just in time as the dinner rush started after we came in. Scampi packed a little bit of flavor, but was OK.

I'll be blunt, it's an overpriced "Tourist Trap". 30 bucks for a diminutive size lobster roll. Breading on fried items was blah. $11.95 for a fried zucchini appetizer is a bad joke. 80 bucks for a lunch which still left us hungry is extremely disappointing. I recommend the Maine Diner if you are wanting to stop in Wells for a good meal. Not much more to say.

I would actually rate it 4.5 We were in mood to only have lobster today! The lobster roll was amazing! We had it warm with butter. We also had 1 1/8 lobster ( our first time trying to cut it on our own and it was a success! ) and lobster stew had generous amount on lobster in it. Happy we chose this place, our sever was amazing too. Our first day of vacation started on a great note!

Service was terrific. Hot Lobster rolls with butter were a good size and very fresh and delicious. I loved the cole slaw and my husband said the clam chowder was amazing. We had dessert which was something we don't always do but it was well worth the splurge, my lemon meringue pie and hubby's chocolate cream pie were the best we have had in a very very long time.

The menu options were great and the waitress was friendly and attentive. The meals tonight were a bit off compared to previous visits. One was the turkey dinner which came with mashed potato's and coleslaw. Both the turkey and stuffing was extremely dry with the dark turkey being crunchy. My haddock nugget basket with sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection. The nuggets were light and moist and the sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp too. We had an appetizer of zucchini sticks, which were extremely good but the "sticks" could have been sliced a little thinner. Overall we'll still be coming back because the service and great and the food is mostly consistent

    Muddy steamers - disgusting

Very disappointing experience. After a day at the beach, I was so looking forward to some steamers. Mike's apparently has a fish market next door and reviews seemed mainly favorable, so we gave it a try. My husband ordered potato skins, that he said were fine, but nothing to brag about. I ordered New England clam chowder to go along with my steamers. The chowder wasn't bad but should have been hotter. The major issue was the steamers. I don't think they were even rinsed before they were prepared. We are not talking sand. They were loaded with mud. When I mentioned it to the waiter he said "oh, they must have forgot to wash them today" and that if I had let him know sooner he could have brought me another cup of broth to rinse them in. So gross.

Really good food. It gets busy at lunchtime but it's worth the wait. The haddock is my go to and the chowder is top notch h.

Way overpriced, no seasoning freshness of ingredients are questionable. For the cost of two people to eat was outrageous.

We were seated in the main dining room, there's also outdoor seating in high season, and additional bar seating. Mexican street corn was a great first bite before our mains. We shared the skirt steak which was the perfect medium rare with tons of flavor!(just salt and pepper seasoned) Giannino chicken, basically chicken under a brick was tasty also. Best creamed spinach ever. Garlic and salt fries, yum. Finished with croissant bread pudding And espresso's. Perfect. Plan ahead,it is very popular so reservations are a must.

The host did a great job seating us with our 18-month-old away from the busy areas and bigger groups, which we really appreciated. Our server was good, friendly, attentive, and great with our daughter. The empanadas and street corn were both really good. The steak, though, was a huge disappointment. We ordered the NY strip medium rare and it came out overcooked and really chewy. Last year I had the opposite problem, it was undercooked and had to be sent back. For what they charge for the food and drinks, I'd expect them to be able to cook a medium rare steak consistently without guessing. The steak also could've been trimmed a lot better. Overall, the service was great, but the steak has been inconsistent every time we've gone. At this price point, I don't see us coming back.

The highlight for me is, without question, the two-foot lobster roll. It's huge, loaded with fresh lobster from end to end, and served on a perfectly soft sub roll. Every time I order it, I'm reminded why I keep coming back. It's not just a novelty because of the size. It's genuinely delicious, generously filled, and an incredible value for the amount of lobster you get. It's easily one of my favorite lobster rolls anywhere. The restaurant has a comfortable, welcoming atmosphere that's great for families, couples, or anyone looking for a relaxed meal. The staff is consistently kind and attentive, and Barb always stands out. She's warm, friendly, and genuinely makes guests feel appreciated. It's refreshing to find a place that's been so consistent over multiple visits. Great food, generous portions, and people who clearly care about their customers keep me coming back. The place itself looks fantastic, with crisp linen tablecloths and warm table lamps that give it a classy, cozy feel as soon as you sit down. Every piece of meat was cooked perfectly, from the first slice to the last, and the variety was incredible. The staff kept checking on us just enough to make sure we had everything we wanted, but never in an annoying or pushy way. You're given cards with "yes" on one side and "no" on the other, so you can control when they offer you more food. With the "yes" side up, the servers bring you a steady stream of delicious meats; flip it to "no" when you need a break. I ate way too much, too fast, simply because everything was so good. I know it's a Brazilian restaurant, but not everybody eats polenta, yuca, or fried plantain , brazillion beans, feijoada or anything to that effect. I think they should have a few other American things on there besides broccoli and asparagus, carrots would be nice, maybe some stuffed mushrooms., street corn. The honey cheese we tried we tried the honey cheese was not that great. I do have to say probably the best thing is the pineapple.. there should be other options for salads. We have been to Brazilian restaurants down in Cape Cod with huge buffet salad bars with cheese all kinds of other options. Besides, just meet on a spit., it was mac & cheese. There was all kinds of different salads and fruits. I think if you added more of these things or had an area where you could set up some of these things and people could help themselves I think you would have a lot more people in this restaurant.
