Big ones...

Great pizza. Great value. If you're gonna eat pizza every weekend, this is the place to order it from. Great friendly staff who always has our pizza ready at the right time.

I got 3 slices and a soda for $10. Didn't know their lunch special was 2 slices and a soda for $7. Slices are big. Didn't bed the third slice. But it was a happy little mistake. Pizza was great.

Supreme pizza, small

【Background】 Thursday, March 20, 2025 1:25 PM Who remembers the combo pizza from Costco? My parents used to buy it as a treat sometimes after an afternoon trip to the store, and to this day, I still randomly crave the long-lost order. I've heard from locals that Mike's Pizza is one of the best pizza places in San Dimas, and I saw they have a similar dish on their menu, so I decided to check them out for lunch. Located in the San Dimas Arrow Plaza, the restaurant is to the left of Stater Bros. It's pretty easy to find since there's a wide sign in front displaying the restaurant's name. The inside is pretty small with only three open tables since two other tables were piled with clutter. I usually prefer eating in, but I decided to just take my food home to enjoy; the ambiance inside was a little depressing and drab since all the lights were off (maybe to save on the electricity bill or keep the heat down?), and there were no other customers in sight. Multiple reviews say this restaurant is mainly a to-go place, and I definitely agree with that sentiment. 【Food】 Menu: https://mikesgourmetpizza.com/ To re-experience some childhood nostalgia, I ordered: * Supreme pizza, small ($17.00) The ingredients for the supreme pizza were pretty similar to Costco's combo pizza. Both have pepperoni, Italian sausage, green bell peppers, black olives, mushrooms, and red onions. However, Mike's also adds ham and Canadian bacon. The pie had a nice, crispy crust, not too doughy. I usually don't like olives, but the brininess complemented all the other ingredients and flavors. The presentation wasn't the best. As you can see in my picture, it seems the black olives and green bell peppers were haphazardly arranged so only certain slices had them, and I had to manually redistribute those vegetables. According to Google, small pizzas range from 8-10 inches in diameter. My small pizza spanned 12 inches in diameter. Also, I was able to get three meals out of this one pie, so I thought it was a relatively good deal. I enjoyed it hot and fresh right out of the oven and even cold after I refrigerated the leftovers, and the pizza tasted great in both scenarios. 【Service】 Honestly, I'm not sure if the online menu is useful for estimating prices. My order is listed as $15.96 on the website, and at the bottom of the page, it says "all items plus tax." But when I called to order, the employee told me the total price was $17.00. So maybe the tax rate is 6.5%? I called at 12:55 PM to order, and the employee told me it would be ready in about 25 minutes. I arrived a little later at 1:25 PM, told an employee my name, and another person took it out of the oven where it was being kept warm, which was pretty thoughtful of them. 【Parking】 Parking was easy since the plaza has tons of shared spots for the multiple businesses. 【Tips】 At the bottom of their website, it says they accept credit cards for pickup orders only, and I can confirm they took my card. However, there is a $1.00 service fee if you pay using a card.

If you've been in search of an old school pizza joint then look no further. Amazing pizza. Cooked to perfection topped generously and the price is right.. SOOOOK GOOOD!!!!

THE MONSTER

The pizza was tasty and huge! This thing was $40. It lasted a week, so it was worth the money. This was a pick-up order. What I thought was funny is the lady at the register seemed offended when I didn't tip. I am a great tipper, but who tips if you're the one picking up?

Veggie pizza
Vivianna R.

I tried this place out on a Sunday afternoon and I called to place a pick-up order because they do not have online ordering. They said it would take 40 minutes for a small veggie pizza and garlic bread. When we walked in we were greeted and our pizza was ready. The toppings were generous & they were able to add pepperoni to half of the pizza. The garlic bread was good & the crust of the pizza is thick. This is a good local spot to try out!

We ordered the pizza, chicken parmesan, and pesto pasta, and every single dish was outstanding. The pizza was delicious, the chicken parm was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the pesto pasta was absolutely incredible. You can tell they put a lot of care into their food. What really made the experience special, though, was the kindness of the people who work there. I placed a to-go order and arrived early, expecting to just wait outside, but they welcomed me in, offered me water, and made me feel completely at home. Since I had my baby with me, they even helped carry my order out to the car. That level of genuine kindness is rare these days. Great food is one thing, but great food paired with genuinely wonderful people is what makes a place unforgettable. I will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for incredible Italian food and exceptional service.

I've been here quite a few times and Friday July 3rd was the first time I was highly disappointed with them. I get it, they were busy with the festivities happening down the street but I understand now why they have a help wanted sign in their window. From the time we sat down it took them well over 10 minutes to get our drinks, we had to remind them to bring our drinks, another 10 minutes from taking our drink order to even take our food order, and they came by to refill our water glasses during that time but never even bothered to ask if we wanted refills on our drinks after we had to remind them to even bring our drinks. I ordered the half and half plate and the cheese raviolis were still chewy. We all had spaghetti as the half and half comes with it and they didn't disclose to any of us that the meatballs would be extra after asking us if we wanted meatballs with our spaghetti. We just all assumed ok maybe it's included. I know it's been a bit since I've been there but so much has changed and that's kind of a bummer because I really used to enjoy them

I really enjoyed the presentation of everything, like the dishes and the lattes were very cute and aesthetic! Our waiter was also really nice and helpful with recommendations. The pastas did take a while to arrive though... As for the food: The sugar cubes definitely helped sweeten the latte, and I think I'd order it again. I absolutely loved the Stuffed Artichoke! The creaminess and cheesiness were amazing, and I'd 100% get it again! The Fettuccini Carbonara was good, but if I came back, I'd want to try something different. The cheesecake was a delicious way to finish things off! I really enjoyed the sweetness and the raspberries on top. We definitely left full and with leftovers haha

Made reservation for 4:00pm when they normally open for dinner. When we go there there were already a few tables that had been served. Found out the stayed open since lunch since it was Mother's Day . Would have liked it if I was given an option to eat earlier. Brought my own wine so felt the $20 corkage fee was reasonable. We sat outside right away. Service was a little slow even though they were not that busy when we got there. I think it was our server as the other servers responded quickly with orders and follow up. My carbonara was just OK. The rich tasting runny egg was cooked too long and was more like a hard boiled egg. Still love this place so giving them a pass since it was a difficult day - Mother's Day -

I ended up in the corner, which was a perfect spot to enjoy the atmosphere and do a little people watching. They have a great happy hour and daily specials. The guy next to me ordered the Wagyu burger, and it looked incredible. The fries were huge quartered potatoes that looked just as good. He said everything was amazing. My server, Clint, recommended the Fidelity red blend. I'm usually a Pinot Noir drinker, but this was a great choice and paired really well with my filet and lobster tail. The steak was cooked perfectly, the lobster was excellent, and even the drawn butter was served at the right temperature. I finished with the peach tart for dessert, and it was delicious. I also met Anthony, one of the owner's sons, who was making his way around the restaurant checking on guests. Both he and Clint were friendly and attentive all evening. Unfortunately, my daughter's $47 entrée contained a metal wire bristle from a grill/cleaning brush. Thankfully, she noticed it before swallowing it, but this could have resulted in a very serious injury. To the restaurant's credit, the manager came over promptly, apologized sincerely, and handled the situation professionally. We appreciated that acknowledgment. We also chose not to make a scene or demand anything because we understand that mistakes can happen. What disappointed us was how the situation was ultimately handled. When our bill arrived, my daughter's entrée was actually charged twice. We had to point out the duplicate charge to our waiter. When he returned with the corrected bill, one of the duplicate charges had been removed, but the remaining $47 entrée--the one that contained the metal wire--was still on the bill. We were then told that my daughter's dessert had been made complimentary. While we appreciated the gesture of the complimentary dessert, it seemed to fall well short of what would have been appropriate given the circumstances. A dessert does not compare to paying for a $47 entrée that contained a dangerous foreign object. This review isn't meant to criticize the quality of the food, it was outstanding. It's about the response to a significant food safety issue. I believe most guests would expect that a meal containing a metal wire bristle would be removed from the bill without question. Instead, we left feeling disappointed that the resolution did not reflect the seriousness of what had occurred. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident and that the restaurant reviews its food preparation and grill cleaning procedures to ensure this doesn't happen to another guest.
