First time visiting Mike's seafood. Had a craving for crawfish at 9:00pm on a Wednesday evening. Its located in a strip so parking wasn't a hassle. I walked in and placed my order of 1lb crawfish and an order of boudin balls. The crawfish cost 5.99/lb and were absolutely delicious and big. I should have gotten 2lbs, they give you a nice size portion as well. The boudin balls were tasty as well, it went well with the tartar sauce. Service is OK, walked in, wasn't greeted didn't care too much really because i was ordering to-go. The wait is a little long for the crawfish, but in my case I'm assuming they were frying the boudin balls. Would definitely be going back for more crawfish read more

If you like Cajun powder and garlic, this is for you. (2/5) Their raw oysters is meh. I would go to Captain Tom's in Katy for fresh oysters. Mike's oysters were more of a sticky consistency. I believe it was $13.99 for a dozen. (5/5) Boudin balls. My friend ordered this. Pretty tasty! (4/5) Catfish was crispy, yet moist on the inside. They got this down real good. The fried rice it came with on the side was dry and disappointing. Overall, I would come back! But only for their crawfish. Tip: You have to ask for sauce like in Chik Fil A. It's an order at front and wait on your number place, that's fine. But if you're sitting at the bar it's the same and that's not right. This poor fellow next to me sat down and was ignored for a long time. He had to wave someone down, oh they were 3 feet away and still trying not to make eye contact. There were tons of to go orders so I would bet that the food is good over the entire menu (if they haven't run out). I can see myself going back, especially now that I know how the process works. BIG PORTIONS- seafood was much bigger than I expected. The fried stuff wasn't salty, and the fish/shrimp were not fishy at all so it was fresh. I wish I got to eat it while it was still hot and crispy instead of taking it home. We actually wanted to try their fried rice, but I wasn't asked over the phone when I placed my to-go order so I got fries which were okay. I've been coming to Mike's Seafood for years, I live 5 mins away from the place and a few months back on my way home I ordered Raw Oysters (done it before never had an issue) when I got home they were all dead I had to throw them away. That made me stop going. I decided to give it another try this time I ordered the Raw Oysters to eat there instead of bringing them home and boy was I disappointed they didn't even bother to clean them right they brought them to us the way you see them in the picture dirty and no ice to keep them cold they tasted warm super disgusting! We got the other food to go (it was crawfish, potatoes, corn, & shrimp (Shrimp wasn't cleaned still had the poop in them) I definitely wouldn't recommend going there the quality of food has gone down,(We spent $78+).
