Much to my surprise the inside was quite quaint. There was a couch setup for dining as well as tables. It's very small inside. Although takeout will remain my preference, I could actually dine in & not have an issue. I ordered in advance & my food was ready upon arrival. The worker who gave me my to-go food was friendly. The food is good, as usual! I had the shrimp egg foo young. I find it challenging to find egg foo young on the menu of several of the neighborhood Chinese restaurants so I typically get it when I go here. The egg foo young gravy is a little thicker than I prefer but it works. The 3 egg foo young patties are flavorful & the shrimp inside the patties are pretty large. I feel they do this dish well. I like to pair it with their fried rice. For your basic Chinese cuisine, Dragonz Wok does a good job. They are a place to try if you are in the neighborhood.

I added soy sauce and all I tasted was the soy sauce. Sesame chicken was ok. The crab Rangoon's simply aren't good. I can't even describe what's wrong but they are terrible. The spring roll was cool with duck sauce. It's hard to find great Chinese food and this will do in a pinch.

They said the website has the most up to date menu items Super Supreme 5/5 Really quite extraordinary, packed with flavor and toppings. Hawaiian 3/5 - good but not sure the added American bacon bit elevates the traditional Hawaiian. Wings - medium spicy (3/5) not bad by any means but didn't feel special in any way. Kind of reminded me of grocery store frozen aisle wings (which I don't dislike actually) but yeah. Wouldn't come here specifically for the wings. Maybe they're better eaten in store. Overall, loved the visit. Would definitely come back to try some of the pizzas I didn't see on the paper menu next time like the Honey Crème.

That's when we came across Cup N Char and noticed they offered Detroit-style pizza--something neither of us had tried before. We stopped by to order in person, and right away the staff made a great impression. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself was very clean. There were also a few groups dining in, which gave the place a nice, welcoming vibe. Since we wanted to try a variety, the staff recommended ordering a half-and-half medium pizza, which turned out to be the perfect suggestion. We went with half Italian Mob (pepperoni, onions, banana peppers, and sausage) and half Grassy Chicken (chicken, onions, and banana peppers). Both sides were flavorful, with the Detroit-style crust really standing out--crispy on the edges and soft inside. We also ordered the chicken wings with the original hot sauce, and those were a great addition. The flavor was rich and buttery--definitely a must-have alongside the pizza. Overall, the portions were generous, and we loved being able to mix and match flavors. This is a spot we'll definitely be coming back to for takeout pizza and wings.

The mala fries were definitely crispy as well, and the sauce they put on it adds a nice touch. The portion of the fries were a little small however, but they hit the spot. It's a small place somewhat tucked away where there's not much traffic, but I'd love to see this restaurant get more exposure. The air inside felt okay, the AC blowing felt a little humid so I wasn't too sure what that was about. Service was quick - you just order at the front, find a seat, and they bring it out to you hot and fresh. I'll definitely come back for the chicken sandwich as I've never had it at a Korean fried chicken place and it does look pretty good. Overall great food, I'd recommend it!

They've built a loyal and local following by making comfort food the centerpiece of their many talents (#2). When the food is as tasty as the customer service is friendly, it's hard not to love all they to offer. The shop is so small that seating is non-existent, (#3) thus it's strictly a takeout and delivery establishment. Their display case of hot foods changes throughout the day, depending on availability. Anything after the late afternoon is a huge gamble, so when in doubt, call ahead of time to confirm whether an item is available. I love to pop in just to get a good visual of my choices -- and I've always managed to walk out with something delicious. Of all the items I've tried, there have been standouts across the board. The oxtail, stewed chicken with gravy, smothered rib tips, meat loaf, and their über famous honey glazed wings and meatballs are fabulous. Their sides of dressing, sweet candied yams, mac and cheese, and fried green tomatoes make for a perfectly complete meal. Even the cornbread is outstanding, which is really saying something. I'd be remiss not to mention their incredibly underrated desserts. The peach cobbler is fire, pound cake and banana pudding are excellent, and their triple layered German-chocolate cake floored me. It was decadent, a tinge savory, and extremely addicting. The fact they offer catering for every item mentioned above means my future potlucks are going to be next level. When they're ready to open another location in a different part of town, I can only hope it'll be closer to me. Otherwise, it's off to West Oaks when I'm craving a food-coma-worthy treat. ____________ (#1) Except Monday. They're closed.
